Me and the Principal ran outside where some teachers had Joey. I ran over to him he was on his knees. Now they really made seem like he was being arrested. I got on my knees and brushed the hair out of Joey's face he had been crying. I asked him "what happened why did you run out". Then the Principal said "I can tell you why" and he grabbed my arm and I stod up and Joey got mad "Don't touch her"! He yelled I didnt know why he was so mad. Then the Principal let go of me and knelt down to Joey and held up his chin "listen just because I left you and your mom doesn't mean you can talk to me like that I'm still your father"! I was shocked the Principal was Joey's dad?!

Joey got real mad then he elbowed one of the teachers he stood up and tried to punch his dad (or PrincIpal whatever you want to call him). The teacher gabbed Joey's arm and squeezeing his arm I didn't know teachers were allowed to do this. Then Joey finally gave and just hung there then the Principal said to the teachers "let go and go back to your classes". Then he walked away himself. I dropped down to Joey and sat next to him I held up his head and he was tearing up. "Joey it's ok he left". I looked at him in the eyes he looked up at me and kissed me. I didn't smile because I knew he was upset. But I still didn't know why.

When he pulled out of the kiss he whispered something to me "I ... I love you Meghan". My heart started to race but I just sat there then smiled. He smiled too "at first I thought it was just a crush but ... I now I know that I love you". I smiled even bigger than before. We kissed again as we kissed the second bell rang. We didn't care we just sat there smiling at each other. I wanted to bring what happened about him and his dad but I could tell he was happy right now and I didn't want to ruin that.

We finally got up with our hands together and before we could walk in the building we heard a woman screaming something we both turned around to see who it was. It was Joey's mom. "Joey! Joey!" she was screaming at the top of her lungs. She finally caught up to us and gabbed Joey and hugged him. He hugged her back with one hand he didn't let go of my hand.

"he didn't hurt you. Did he?" she asked him while looking at his face. She was holding his head up. She was crying now. I was so confused I had no idea what was going on. Where they crying because his dad left them? Or did he do something to them? I really hope thats not true. Grace finally let go and smiled at me then she looked down and saw me and joeys hands were together she smiled at both of us then hugged both of us.

We walked in the door of the school Abbie was standing there with her friends and when she saw our hands together she kinda growled and stomped away and so did her friends. Then Grace saw the Principal and took a deep breath and walked into the office. Joey said "come on let's go" I nodded and followed him but he didn't go to class we went to the gym then he saw the sign the said "Pool" he looked back at me and smiled "no! Joey no!" I said. He dragged me toward the door anyway. "Joey! Stop! No! We will in trouble!" "So?" He laughed and opened the door.
