After school I meet Joey at the park across the street from our school. I was sneaking up behind him and I scream "Boo"! He jumped. Then gets up from the bench and chases me. I scream as I run from him. But it was no use. He grabs my waist and kisses my cheek. I smile and kiss him back. Then we walked back to the bench and sat down. "Okay. So you first" I say. He sighed. "Come on you said you would"! "I know. I know. It's just that I've never told anyone this before". "Oh well you know I won't tell anyone". "I know I can always count on you" he then kissed my lips forever. I smiled as we kissed. I then let go. I cleared my throat. "Right" he said as he blushed a little. He sighed once more.

"When Jimmy said something about the factory. What did he mean"? I asked as I put my hand on his. "What we meant was that my grandfather owned a factory. And he made his family work there. And my mom was one of them. She worked there as she was pregnant. With me. And my dad already left her. When she had me my grandfather didn't want me there because he knew that I would cause my mom to not work as much. He told her to get rid of me. But she refused. So he threatened to do something with me. But my mom called the police and he got assessed. How jimmy knew about it was because when I was old enough to go to school. He noticed me from the news paper and tv. Because news people knew who my mom was. The daughter of "the factory man" as people would call him I was with her when news people filmed her. And Jimmy told the whole school about who I was. I hated him".

Joey started to tear up. I quickly hugged him. "Joey. I- I'm so sorry". I said as I started to tear up from the story. "You don't have to tell me anymore if you don't want to". I said because I didn't want him to be upset anymore. I didn't like to see people cry. "How about we just go home". I say. He nods. We get in his car.

We drive to the apartment complex. I go to grab my door handle. Then he grabs my hand. "You little sneak" Joey says as he smiles "What"? I ask "You said you were going to tell me the secret you were hiding from me". I totally forgot about that. "Oops" I say "Yeah. Oops. Now tell me". "Fine. Joey I'm sorry but I'm-" my phone rang it was David. "Hello"? I said as I answered my phone "Hey. Meghan me, mom and Christian are going to go to some party for our friends and mom is staying so she can talk to her friends. So we won't be home until late. Okay?" "Okay whatever. Bye" "bye". I hung up and turned back to Joey. "Okay so what is the secret"? "Joey I'm moving to Florida". He starts to laugh like I was joking. "Wait your not joking"? I shook my head. He just sat back in his seat. And looked out the window. "Joey I'm sorry. I don't want to move. But my grandma is sick and we need to take care of her". "Okay. So why do you have to move there"? "My mom wants to be close to my family". Joey then looked at me with tears in his eyes "Why do you have to leave me Meghan"? "Joey. I don't-" he then gets out of the car and walks to the front door. I sighed. I got out of the car and walked to the door.

I went up to my floor and saw Joey sitting on the floor by his door. I walked over to him. "Joey I'm really sorry". He looked up at me tears were still in his eyes. He got up and hugged me. "Don't be I shouldn't have done that" He said softly. I smiled he smiled back. He has the best smile with his white teeth. "My mom and brothers won't be back until later do you want to stay with me. I mean until my mom gets home so I'm not alone. We can watch a movie". Joey laughed and nodded "I would love to". I giggle and we walk to my door. I unlock the door and step inside I turned on the light. "Hold on I have to go put my stuff away in my room" I say as I walk toward the hall to my room "Okay" Joey said as he walked over to the couch. When I walked back in the living room Joey wasn't on the couch "Joey? Where are you"? Just then I hear someone over by the front door. I quickly turn around Joey was standing there and he turned off the lights. All I had to see was the sunlight which wasn't really that helpful. I felt hands behind me slid down to my waist "I love you Meghan" I heard a vocie whisper in my ear. I giggled and replied "I love you too Joey". Then I felt lips on my cheek. The lips traveled to mine and I felt Joey pick me up and carry me somewhere.
