Your POV:

     You were headed out with your new team, to see how you could be incorporated into thier formation, you didn't mention your kekki genki to anyone. Well, except Lady Tsunade that is. It was clear to tell that Shikamaru was starting to figure it out. As you thought about what to do, you came across two options. 1: tell Shikamaru the truth and hope he doesn't tell anyone else, or 2: try to keep it a secret to avoid a potential catastrophe.

     "You OK (Y/N)? You seem more distracted then me." A bored voice said. Shikamaru snapped his fingers in front of your face trying to get your attention. "Konoha to (Y/N), come in (Y/N)"

     "Hm? Oh yeah I'm fine, just thinking." You responeded casually. And gave Shikamaru a smile "I promise I'm OK before you ask."

     Shikamaru simply nodded then got an idea how to add you to the team. "(Y/N) you're good with swords right?" He asked.

     You simply nodded, then relized what he was thinking. "Oh! Since you guys are unbalanced close combat versus long range, you want me to be a close combat like Choji right? That's brilliant!" You explained his own plan to him. You giggled as he had a shocked face on.

     "C-can you read minds or something?" Shikamaru said, shocked you perfectly explained his plan.

     "I wish, that would be a great advantage in battle. I could use-" you cut yourself off, relizing you were about to mention your kekki genki. 'Phew that was a close one' you thought to yourself.

     'Yes it most certainly was.' a deep yet melodic voice responded in your head.

     You litterally almost freaked out when you heard the voice. You then remembered someone mentioning a nine tailed fox sealed inside a boy named Naruto. "Shikamaru can you take me to a boy named Naruto, I need to ask him something."

     Shikamaru nodded a bit "I'll take you after training. Though I must warn you, he isn't the smartest person in the world."

     You and your team came to a sudden stop as you reached a training ground. "Asuma-Sensei, who are we training against?" You asked.

     Asuma simply chuckled and said "Me." Before getting out his chakra blades.

You instantly drew your swords as you got ready to spar. The second he said start, you charged forward with speed that could rival Haku's and tried to strike. But Asuma blocked your blades with his chakra blades. As you and Asuma had your blades clashing. Choji went and attacked from behind.

      Asuma jumped up and did hand signs. "Fire style! Burning ash justu!" He called but only to be interrupted.

     You did hand signs and called "Water style! Water whip jutsu!" And wrapped the water whip around his ankle, slamming him onto the ground, causing a pained groan to come out of his mouth. The second Asuma stood up he couldn't move.

     "Shadow possession jutsu complete" Shikamaru said from behind Asuma.

     "Now we finish this!" You and Choji called in sync as you jumped above Asuma and Choji charged head on. "Twin sword style! Twin snake bite jutsu!" You called as your blades turn into snakes. You felt GoGo retreat into your hood.

     "Stop!" Asuma yelled. And noticed (Y/N) unable to stop above him. His eyes showed panic. But Your's showed even more. That was until Choji caught you.

      "Release!" You said as your swords went back to normal. Choji sat you down and you put your blades up. You all discussed what went well in the training and what went wrong before heading home. Relizing you had no place to stay you went to Tsunade's office. "Lady Hokage, if I may ask where am I staying?"

     "The Hyuga's have agreed to adopt you. But you will keep the same last name and you will train under them as well." Tsunade explained "you are dismissed."

     You bowed before heading to the Hyuga compound, once they told you that you were sharing a room with Hinata, you went to her room and saw a second bed, with two outfits and a note.

     'We thought you may want something more comfortable to sleep in, and a new ninja outfit that is more Konoha than your current outfit.'

     You put on your night clothes and looked at your Konoha outfit. It was a black jacket and a golden brown crop top and a black pair of shorts that was about mid thigh length. And on top of it all was a custom made, golden brown headband. You put the clothes on your nightstand and laid in bed. You were unable to sleep due to being the insomniac you were and you just stared at the ceiling. The only thoughts in your head was Kiba, and you relized that you had fallen your the dog boy. And you had fallen hard.

     The next morning Hinata woke you up early.

     "Brother Neji wants to test out your abilities (Y/N)-chan" she said with a stutter in her voice.

     "I will be out in a minute." You groaned as you sat up, you got ready for the day. You put on your new ninja outfit and brushed your (H/L) (H/C) hair. And put it up in a (hair style of your choice, or you can leave it down) and headed out to find Neji. You two sparred for a bit, it went to fast it was hard to keep track of what happened. (Sorry got lazy XD) You then set out to train with Shikamaru.

     You were half way there and you didn't notice Kiba and the rest of his team approaching behind you, when you heard a twig snap you did the worst thing you could have. You had your swords out in a flash and slashed behind you.
