(Note:This takes place during episode 19.)

Angel
Ever since Laika joined us, both Lan and Chaud have been irritated with him.
'What the hell? Why are they getting this upset about one person?' I thought, as I started training once again.
"Angel, go on ahead and take a break." Phoenix said,after a few minutes.
"Right," I said leaving the Dimensional Area place.
'Why is Laika here again?' I wondered, as I walked towards the cafeteria.
However, my thoughts were interrupted, as I walked into someone.
"How about you look where you are walking," Laika said.
"Sh-Shut up Laika," I said, blushing.

Phoenix
"Hey Searchman," I said.
"Hello, miss Phoenix," Searchman said, giving me a glare.
'What's with him?' I thought, staring at him.
"Phoenix, I, well, um, what are you doing here?" Searchman asked, embarrassed.
'I never knew he could get nervous or embarrassed,' I thought.
"I'm bored," I said.
"Oh, okay," he said.
"Hey I have an idea," I said
"And the idea is what exactly?" he asked.

Both Angel and Phoenix
"Let's have a net battle," I said in a confident tone.

Angel
"Why do you want to battle me?" Laika asked.
"We haven't done that in a while, so I thought maybe do it now," I said, grinning.
"O-Okay fine, but one battle. That's it!" he explained,blushing.
"Yayy!" I exclaimed,while Laika rolled his eyes.
"Let's get this over with," he said, sighing.
"Jack in, Searchman, and power up," Laika said.
"Jack in, Phoenix, and power up," I yelled.
Both Phoenix and Searchman were logged into the internet.

Phoenix
"Now, scope gun," Searchman said.
"Fire breath, battle chip in, and download now," Angel said.
I then took a deep breath, and when I exhaled, I was breathing fire.
"Searchman, you need to dodge the attack," Laika said.
"What's wrong, afraid to handle a little fire?" Angel taunted.
"Shut up," Laika said, blushing a deep red.
"Cannon, battle chip in, download," Laika said, sliding the chip into the PET.
"Phoenix, here is a new battle chip, Blades of Light, battle chip in, download," Angel yelled.
"Got it now," I said, as a white katana showed up in my left hand.
"Now, Blade of Darkness, battle Chip in, download," I yelled.
A black katana showed up in my right hand.
"Program advance, Yin Yang Blades," I yelled,as I did the attack.
When I finished,a Yin Yang symbol appeared on the ground.
"SEARCHMAN DODGE THE ATTACK!!" Laika yelled, as Searchman attempted to dodge, but he failed.
"D-Damnit," Searchman said, groaning in pain.
"Here,let me help you," I said, holding out my hand. Searchman accepted it, still groaning in pain.
"Are you okay? Here let me heal you," I said, as white light flew out of my hands.
"Th-Thank you," Searchman said, as Famous called Angel.

Angel
"Hello," I said.
"Angel, I need you and Laika to come to the office immediately," Famous said, as he hangs up.
"Well let's go," I said, logging Phoenix out.
"Lead the way," Laika said,doing the same thing.

When we walked into the office, I heard the voices of Lan and Famous.
"Why is he here?" Lan asked, pointing at Laika.
"Lan please," Megaman said.
"That's enough!!" I yelled.
"All of you, knock it off!!" Famous yelled.
"Anyways, we need the three of you to work together on this mission," the chief said.
"I will not work with Lan," Laika said
"And why not?" Lan said.
"You will only slow me down," Laika said, "If I am going to work with anyone, he/she needs to be able to work fast, and be respectful, like Angel.
That coment caused me to blush.
"L-Laika, just let Lan work with us as well," I said.
"Just get it done," Chief said.
"Yes sir," Laika said,walking away.
"H-Hey wait up Laika," I said, running to him.

Chaud
"Hey Lan, have you seen Angel?" I asked.
"She just left with Mr. Sharo," Lan said,annoyed.
'What does she see in him?' I thought, gripping my hand to a fist.
"Chaud, you need to calm down," Protoman said.
"Y-You're right Protoman, I just need to calm down," I said, taking a deep breath.
'Why does he get her attention?' I thought, walking outside.

Angel;Later
"Hey Lan, we have great news," I said.
"Laika is moving back to Sharo?" Lab asked, overjoyed.
"No, we are about to know where they are hiding at," Famous said.
"All because of my intelligence," Laika gloated, as I elbowed him in the ribs,hard.
"A-And of course you too Angel," he said, weakly.
"That does it!!" Lan said,running out.

"You know Laika, you could be a little nicer to Lan," I said
"What do you mean, I am just following orders, unlike Lan," Laika said.
That does it.
I punched him so hard in the face, it left a mark on his left cheek.
"YOU NEED TO BE NICER TOWARDS OTHER PEOPLE, YOU JACKASS!!"I yelled, running away from him.
"Angel," Laika said, but I didn't hear anything else.
"That two timing jerk," I said.
"Angel Calm down," Phoenix said.
"I found it!!" a voice said.
"Who said it?" I asked,walking closer towards it. I then spotted Lan outside,with a dog.
"Lan," I said.
"Ohh,hey Angel, what are you doing here?" he asked, "And where is Laika?"
"I ran away from him," I said.
"Okay, cool," he said.
"What did you find?" I asked.
"I found something weird in this abandoned building," Megaman.
"Now that you mention it, I feel it too," Phoenix said.
"Lan, are you ready?" I asked.
"Let's go," Said Lan.
"Jack in, Megaman, and power up," Lan said.
"Jack in, Phoenix, power up now," I said.

Phoenix
"Do you see/feel anything?" Angel asked.
"Not yet," I said,when suddenly I felt a weird power.
"Mega,do you feel it to" I asked.
"Now that you mention it, yes," Megaman said,getting into a battle formation.
"Desertman, I have found you," I said.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't the Little Net Assassin," Desertman said, chuckling, "I thought you have to be good in order to join the Net Saviors."
"Mind your Damn business," I snarled, as a pistol formed into my hand.
"I WILL DEFEAT YOU ONCE AND FOR ALL!!" I yelled, firing the pistol.

Megaman
'Phoenix,what is going on with you? Why are you acting like this?' I thought, as I then heard a voice.
"Phoenix, calm down," Searchman said.

Phoenix
"Phoenix,don't lose yourself. Please! Not like last time," Angel said.
"Phoenix, calm down," Searchman said,putting a hand on my shoulder.
"S-Searchman," I said, feeling a power within my chest.
'Wh-What's happening?' I thought,confused.
"I see that Phoenix has it as well," Megaman said.
'Have what?' I thought,as a light engulfed both me and Searchman.

(Basically what is happening between Phoenix and Searchman)

All of a sudden,the light disappeared,and I felt,different.
"Phoenix, you, you have changed," Angel said, as I examined myself.

Angel
"What happened?" Laika said, walking up to us.
"Yeah Lan?" I asked.
"The process is called double soul, and  it is an ability employed by any Net navi to gain added powers and techniques in combat using the powers of an allied NetNavi. Megaman can do it as well," Lan said, Laika and I are in shock over it.
"Double soul is so strong," I said, examining Phoenix's fight. She used her own scope gun, and fired it at Desertman.
"G-God Damnit, no matter, my master will get you soon, Phoenix," Desertman said,logging out.
When the battle was over,I got a chip that have Searchman's symbol.

"Lan, Y-You are a good Net Savior," Laika said, blushing a little.
"Is that a compliment that I hear?" Lan taunted.
"Don't push it," Laika said, as he walks away, "Angel, I need to talk to you."
"Yes Laika?" I asked.
"I-I'm sorry about everything I said," Laika said.
"Wow, are you changing your ways?" I asked.
"Let's just say, I don't want to hurt you again," Laika said, leaning foward towards me,and brushed his lips onto my cheek.
It caused me to blush so red, I almost passed out.
"Now,how about I take you to go get some food? My treat," Laika offered, as we walked towards a restaurant.

Desertman
"So,you failed again!!" the master said.
"But Shademan, It was the damn girl's fault," I said.
"Who is the girl?" Shademan asked.
"Phoenix, and her Net Op, Angel," I said.
"Those two gave you trouble in the past, Beeman," Shademan said.
"Yes," he said.
"Bring the damn Net Navi here, ALIVE!!" Shademan said.
"Of course," Beeman said, disappearing.

Shademan
'I will get her before you do, Laserman,' I thought, laughing maniacally.

Hey you guys!! Sorry for the wait! Working with The Seconf Terms. So we got to know a bit about Phoenix's past,that was a treat.
So the next chapter will be a short one,and you will finally meet Lan's friends.
