So far everything was going as he planned. From the moment he saw the kid to the moment he gave the boy a reading. It wasn't much but when he saw the tattoo on his hand; he knew the boy was going to be trouble. But he also knew that it was his chance to find the thing a conduit, rather than having it use him. He understood the entity wanted to make sure that it had a human host to manifest and do absolute harm. However, the one thing that he worried about was the fact that the thing could try to take advantage of him. He needed to make sure that nothing went wrong, otherwise, everything he had planned would go down the drain.

"So far so good," the man said to himself. "Those people don't know what's coming to them."

"Are you talking to yourself again?" a voice said. The man stopped in his tracks and turned to look at the mirror in his bathroom. Standing behind him even though it wasn't there was a hideous being with no hair and gray skin. "How many times do I have to tell you not to do that?"

"Sorry," the man responded. "I was only lost in thought."

"You mean you were lost in thought and talking about your plan out loud?" it responded. "If you wanted to say something out loud, why don't you say it louder? I'm sure that everyone would hear you from a mile away."

"That isn't what I mean madam." the man said although the thing in the mirror barely looked like a woman.

"Then what?" the creature said.

"Everything was going as planned, you will soon have your host in which I will help give you a new life."

"Then you better get to it, I want him broken as fast as possible." the creature vanished into nothing, no doubt going back to her host. She'd do anything to get the life she wanted and if that meant taking control of a young boy then he knew that's what she'd do. The man stared back into the mirror an evil smirk appearing onto his face. Everything that went down was going like he planned. Now all he needed to do was take care of his own business. One way or the other, the boy will be theirs, if it was the last thing they did.
