SAM

Upon arriving at the scene, Sam was ready to take on the Dybbuk that was in his nephew. The spirit flinched at the name Deidamia and growled at its enemies.

"How did you find that out?" Deidamia asked. Hearing that name and Ezra speaking that way made a chill run up and down Sam's spine. If his brother came home to find out, a malevolent entity possessed his son.

"It's written on the inside of your box," Aaron said, holding the box open. "Now that we have you where we want you, you're going to return to your box."

"How can a weak Rabbi send me back into a box? I mean, I'll just come crawling back out."

"That maybe the case, but we're going to make sure that you don't bother anyone else," Aaron responded and sat the box on the ground. "We just need the right words and the sentence that will force you out of your host and into the box."

"Good luck with that." Deidamia said and walked toward its enemy. Knowing what it was planning to do, Sam immediately started saying its name. Deidamia flinched as Shela joined in and Aaron said an exorcism that only Rabbi's knew. Deidamia cried out in pain as it kneeled on the ground. It struggled to stay within its host, but the more they said the names, the more that the creature peeled itself away from Ezra. The minute that it did, Sam could see the direct outline of a woman figure wearing a long dress. Her eyes were completely inhuman and piercing the night. Sam hadn't dealt with a dybbuk before, but from the way it reacted as it possessed Ezra, it was like it wanted to be alive again. Aaron said a few more words in Hebrew before the dybbuk screamed and got sent back into the box. Putting his gun away, Sam helped Aaron shut the box and seal it away. The box would not cause anymore problems and they couldn't have it hanging around the bunker. Once the dybbuk was safely in the box, Aaron handed it over to Sam. Shela ran over to her son, who was lying unconscious on the ground.

"Ezra?!" Shela exclaimed. "Ezra?! Please wake up!" Ezra groaned as Sam placed the box on the ground far away from his sister-in-law and his nephew.

"Mom? Uncle Sam?" Ezra said and groaned, once again holding his head. "What's going on?"

"Do you remember anything that happened?" Sam asked.

"All I remember was acting strange and drawing some cicadas."

"It doesn't matter what happened anymore, the point being, you're safe and you don't have to worry about anything else. We're getting rid of the Dybbuk and we're going to make sure that nothing happens to you again." Shela said.

"What about the box?" Ezra asked while Shela helped him stand.

"We're going to burn the damn thing."

"Burn it? But wouldn't that send it back out to someone else?"

"No, the Dybbuk is a restless spirit, so as soon as we put the torch to it, the damn thing will be no more," Ezra nodded his head. "Shela, you take Ezra back to the bunker. Aaron and I are going to burn the box."

"Okay," Shela said. "Please be careful."

"Don't worry, we will." Sam reassured her. Shela and Ezra walked away from the site while Aaron and Sam burned not only the Dybbuk but also the dead body that had been lying on the ground for the last few minutes since they faced off against the spirit. They drenched the box and the body in gasoline and salt. With the box and body covered, Sam lit some matches and tossed it onto the remains. Immediately, it caught fire, and the flames grew large. Everything in the box that ever belonged to the spirit was torched and, with it, the body. Now that they didn't have to worry about the Dybbuk again, Sam brought Aaron back to his house and traveled back to the bunker to check on Ezra.
