My POV

Lucy wakes up in the morning and takes a shower. She gets dressed in the school uniform, which is a white shirt sleeve button t-shirt, a Navy pleated skirt that reached her mid thigh, knee high socks with two Navy stripes at the top, black flats, and a Navy tie. There is the optional blazer but no one ever really wears that. Lucy puts her hair in low pigtails that reach below her hips, her bangs covered her forehead and some strands hang down and rest on her shoulders. She eats breakfast then brushed her teeth and says goodbye to her father before Capricorn drives her to school.

~At school~

A whole bunch of whispers go around. They are all about Lucy. But no one actually physically bullied her because her father is a really rich and powerful business man who can ruin lives. She walks into the hallways, which not that many kids are doing. But there are two in particular. Natsu Dragneel and Gray Fulbuster. They are Mafia kids. They have to attend a ball next week for their suitor. Gray is a really mean prankster who messed with everyone. They see Lucy. Lucy is one of the peke Gray hasn't really bothered. He's looking for a new challenge, so he decided he would prank Lucy. He sees her writing something on the whiteboard on her locker door. " What's she writing? " He asked Natsu. " How should I know? " He asked in return. " I wanna see if she has any secrets " He said. Natsu rolled his eyes and walks over to Lucy. " Whatcha writing? " He asked boredly. " Oh, I have to study for an upcoming test so I wrote a reminder to go to the library at lunch " She said. Natsu nodded and walked back to gray. " She just wrote something about studying " He shrugged. Gray sighed. He had hoped to find something embarrassing about her.

~After school~

Jude takes Lucy to a dress fitting. She tried on multiple huge hoop dresses and different accessories and whatnot. Afterwards Lucy drags Jude to a nearby ice cream parlor.

~At the ice cream parlor~

At this ice cream parlor happened to be a certain group of Mafia kids. Gray, Natsu, Erza, Gajeel, and Laxus. She goes to the counter. " This is so childish! I need to be home doing work " He said. " You shouldn't be the one complaining. I have an advanced Trig test in one week so I should be home studying. But you dragged me out here for some stupid dress fitting and winter even tell me what the dress is for. So I deserve ice cream " She said. Jude groaned. " What would you like today? " The man with a hat of an ice cream cone asked Lucy. " I would like two giant strawberry floats please " She said with a smile. The man nodded. " Coming right up " He said. Gray kept his eyes on Lucy, he was thinking of a way to prank her. Erza sighed. " Why don't they serve strawberry cake here? " She asked while drooping on the table. " It's an ice cream parlor. Not a cake shop " Gajeel rolled his eyes. Erza sighed. They get up and leave as Lucy enjoyed her float.

~Later with jude~

" We've gotten the dress and heels and whatever girls wear. Virgo I assume you'll take care of the rest " He said. Virgo bows and leaves with the stuff they bought and she goes shopping for other stuff that Lucy will need. Lucy will be attending the upcoming Ball that is for the Mafia kids to find their suitors. They may get suited to other Mafia kids or just regular people. This happens every time any Mafia kid becomes a junior in high school.

~The next day~

Lucy is sitting in the ice cream parlor. She got to go there again. This time Erza was there with just Gray. The man served Lucy. " Say, are you looking for a job? " The man asked. This caught Ezra's attention, and gray fell asleep. " No, but thanks for the offer... " Lucy said and dips the spoon into the bowl. " Oh c'mon, you'd be great! " He said. " No I'm fine I said " She repeats her point from earlier. She knew there was something up with this guy. He leaned on the table. Erza narrowed his eyes at him. He cupped her cheek. " Your way too beautiful, you should be the face of the company... " He said. Lucy grabbed his wrist. " I think I'm just gonna go " She said and removed his hand from her face. She was walking out but he grabbed her wrist, Erza was up from the table and she put her hand on his. " She said no. So I think you should just leave it at that " She said with a dark glare. He had an angry look. " My apologies then. Sorry to bother you! " He said as his expression changed and he walked behind the counter. " Are you okay? " Erza asked. " Y-yes thank you Erza-san " She said. " It's fine, just try and stay out of trouble okay? " She asked. " Will do... " She said and walks away. Erza walks to gray and wakes him up. They head out since Erza didn't get her cake, even though they've told her many times that it's an ice cream parlor and they don't serve cake. Gray was happy that he was finally allowed to leave and had no idea of what just happened.

~The next day at school~

Lucy walked around the courtyard looking for someone. She held a pink box in her hand. She keeps looking around until she spots the bright red hair of the mighty Titania. She smiled and goes up to her. " Erza looks like someone's looking for you " Natsu said pointing to the blonde that was heading that way with a box of some sort. They stop and wait for Lucy to get there. " E-erza-san I wanted to thank you for yesterday, so I made this. I hope you like it " She said with a nervous smile. Erza opened the box. " Is this cake? " She asked. " Y-yes, strawberry flavored " She answered. Tears of happiness stream down her face. " Thank you so much! " She said. " I-i just wanted to give you something to thank you. I've gotta go study now but I hope you enjoy the cake! " She said and ran off. Erza takes the fork that was in there and takes a piece of it. Heavenly.... She thought. " Gray take her off your pranking list right now " Erza said. " What?! That's no fair! I still need to " He was cut off by Erza.
" Take her off the list right now! " Erza ordered. " Yes ma'am! " He said.
