Killua founding himself blushing everyday of this week. Always finding cute little notes and roses in his locker and not just everyday. There would be ones for the morning and one after lunch and one for the end of the day. Killua found himself looking forward to these cute notes. Nick found himself highly irritated especially when Killua found the first one. He opened his locker, gasping in awe as he picked up the beautiful delicate blue rose. He immediately turned to Nick to thank him, only for Gon to be passing by stating there's a note. Killua blinked in confusion that being the first word Gon spoke to him since that whole janitors closet thing. Killua picked up the note more curious then anything.

Hey Cotton ball. I know this doesn't begin to make up for the words I said. But I am so sorry for the way I have hurt you and I hope one day you can find it in yourself to forgive me.

Killua's entire face was red when he read the words Cotton ball. Embarrassment welling up in his chest but also his heart seeming to flutter. Killua gently placed the note in his bag and took his books out, carrying the rose around, reassuring Nick that Gon was just apologizing. Nick couldn't believe his eyes. Killua was surpised the first two days by the notes arrivals. All their words playing in his head like a sweet Melody.

Day 2:

Cotton ball, did I mention I am very deeply sorry for all the words I said? Because I am. You deserved so much better than that. And I promise I will make it up to you every day.

Did you know your eyes sparkle when you happy? Well I can't wait to look into those beautiful eyes and I am feel horrible I ever caused those eyes to not shine like the sapphire beauties they are.

Day 3:

Killua smiled at the letter. And sniffed his Rose smiling to himself like an idiot. He didn't expect this many letters, hell he was pretty sure he would stop. But he kept every single letter and placed each rose in a vase that now sits in his room. Nick was beyond himself. He already knew he lost, yet he didn't wish to admit it to himself. His heart was pained to know that by the end of this week, Killua would be gone. But he kept the facade of a smile on his face for as long as he could. Ensuring they could maybe ride out the last of this happiness. "You know already don't you?" Kurapika said to Nick on the third day before lunch. Nick gave Kurapika a pained smile as he nods. "And so did you." Nick states. Kurapika gives Nick a nod and a sympathy smile. Nick bites his lip. "You helped didn't you?"

Kurapika felt his heart clench for his friend. "Nick you will always be one of my closet friends and the little snotty kid who saved Killua and I when we were idiot little buggers. And I will always be here for you. But Killua-" Nick cut Kurapika off giving him a tight hug whispering into his ear. "I know...he loves Gon." Killua arrived then unaware of what occurred as he asked what's up. Both Nick and Kurapika smiled at Killua waving his thoughts off. Killua giddy with happiness didn't think much of it, nodding along.

Day four came, Killua practically skipped to his locker. "Assfuck 2, to assfuck 1. He is about to open his locker." Kurapika whispered into his phone. Gon snorts a laugh, scoffing. "I know! I can see him Pika!" He whisper yells into the phone. Kurapika glares at the phone and flips Gon off from a across the hall. "Well fuck you too sir." Gon rolls his eyes and focuses them back on Killua ending the call. He watches Killua excitedly open the locker, his face falling not discovering a note or a rose. Gon makes his way to Killua tapping his shoulder. Killua turns and gasps at the rose in Gon's hand. "I am so sorry Killua, I know nothing can ever make up for what I said, but you have to know. I wasn't faking anything between us. That was all real. I loved spending time with you, I loved seeing your cute smile and hearing that adorable ass laugh. And God damnit if I could go back I would tell those assholes that you were my boyfriend and I would kill anyone who harmed you and I would take a full on bullet for you. So I hope you can please forgive my idiot ass one day?" Killua stood agape not expecting this. Killua accepted the Rose reached out to him, nodding his head, giving Gon a smile. "I forgive you." He whispers. Heck Killua is pretty sure he forgave Gon on day two already.

Nick walked through the school doors watching the interaction. He sighs. It's time. He walks to Killua. "Hey Kil, I wanna show you something." Killua nods quickly, saying a quick goodbye to Gon, as he followed Nick. They walked all the way to the bleachers where Killua was surpised to see a giggling Kogumi and Meruem. He was pretty sure Nick would've been murdering Meruem right about now. "Love always seems to find a way to bring people back together, no matter the circumstances, the pain either of them could've possibly caused the other, it's like a force that can't be stopped." Killua was confused why Nick was showing him this and telling him this. But his heart seemed to beat rapidly fast. Deep down he knew... he knew why. Nick turned to face Killua then smiling sadly. "Which is why, I must let you go. I love you so much Killua, but you love Gon. And I don't want to come in the way of that. Not anymore. Because I know I can't compete with the connection you two seem to have." Killua didn't know when but he had started crying. Nick chuckles softly wiping the tears away from Killua's eyes. "Hey, it's okay don't cry. You didn't plan this. And if I was given a chance to do it all over. I would still do everything I did. I would still choose to love you, even if I knew the outcome of losing you. Because you are worth it. Worth the love. Worth the pain. I wouldn't have it any other way." Killua sniffles now and hugs Nick. Nick hugs Killua back finally letting himself cry as he squeezes Killua. Not wanting to let go just yet. He didn't want this moment to end because he knew... he knew that this would be the last time, he would be with Killua like this. "I am sorry I couldn't love you the way you deserved. But I do love you. I hope you know that." Killua whispers softly. Nick nods. He knows. He knows Killua loves him. But Killua is just not in love with him and that's okay.

They finally pull apart, smiling softly at each other. "Take care of yourself Kil. And come to me the second he does anything wrong, I would be more than happy to knock him out." Killua laughs at that, Nick joining him. They both face Mereum and Kogumi again. "They really are a cute couple." Killua whispers, almost getting deja vu. Nick smiles shaking his head. "Hate to admit it. But they are."

Killua informed Kurapika of the break up on their way home. Kurapika was hardly surpised and Killua could tell. But neither of them commented on the why. Kurapika wanted the why to be revealed at the end of the masterplan. So when Killua found the first scavenger hunt clue, his eyes sparkling as he hopped up and down. "Pika! It's a scavenger hunt!" Kurapika chuckles acting completely obviously to keep up the facade. "You don't say?" Killua was more then happy that today was half day. Because the big game was today. The final game of the season. Killua immediately set out to do the scavenger hunt following the first clue to the park, where he met Ikalgo in dark shades holding a bunch of Roses and the next clue. Killua practically screamed.. "Oh my gosh! You are apart of it? Is everyone else? How long had this been planned for!?"

Ikalgo coughed. "Not saying anything. Here are your Roses and clue sir assfuck." Killua smiles and takes the next clue, waving goodbye to Ikalgo and rushes to the next clue. The Library. He met Chrollo who told him to go to the romance section. Killua blushes and find Leorio there. Leorio insisted on being the library person mainly to ensure Kurapika wouldn't be with Chrollo. He handed Killua the Song of Achilles. Killua gasped as he touched the book and opened it to the first page seeing his next clue there. Killua immediately ran off, his next clue being at the mall, Killua blushes at the memories here. He is utterly surpised to see a teddy bear he assumed is Zushi being chased by security. Killua laughs at the sentiment as Zushi beelines for Killua and passes on the note quickly running out of the mall. Killua smiles as he apologizes to the frustrated security and rushes out as well. He makes his way to his own house. Confused as he enters his kitchen finding Knuckle, Illumi and Hisoka. But even more confused, pleasantly surpised as well. When he was told he had to eat this cake to get the next clue.

After finishing the delicious chocolate caramel gooey cake. He found the clue written on the plate. He ran off to the forest where he finds all his friends. He looks to Knuckle confusedly. Knuckle mouths 'car' Killua nods, as Kurapika hands Killua the next clue. Turn around.

Killua whips around finding Gon in a dashing suit. "Hey you." Gon whispers. Killua releases a bubbly laugh as he walks to Gon, his eyes sparkling. Just the way Gon loves it. Killua seems a loss for words as he stares at Gon in wonder. "I love you." Gon whispers after a moment of silence. Killua's eyes widen in shock, his face turning a bright red. His heart thumping rapidly, he wonders if the others can hear it. "I do. I really do. I am in love with you Killua Zoldyck. And I want to thank you for forgiving me, and God damnit you look extremely beautiful right now. And I just-Will you be my boyfriend again? Because I promise I will never hurt you ever again."

Killua opens his mouth and closes it. His heart still beating rapidly as his entire body feels hot. His brain doesn't seem to be working so he nods rapidly. Gon looks behind Killua nodding and when Killua notices the area lighting up, his eyes widen further as Gon mouths turn around. So he does. Killua turns around finding the trees lit up in fairy lights. He gasps then looks at his friends who all seem to be wearing different shirts spelling out. 'PROM?" Killua feels tears well up in his eyes. He gulps willing his brain to finally work. "Yes!" He yells. "Yes!" He shouts again turning around and jumping into Gon's arms. Gon smiles hugging Killua tightly, Killua's legs wrapping around Gon's waist.

Gon pulls back slightly to look at Killua smiling brightly. "I love you." Killua whispers. Gon's smile grows as he presses his lips to Killua's. Killua smiles against the kiss, kissing Gon back passionately, Gon's one hand tangling into Killua's hair. Before he pulls back breathlessly. "You are so beautiful and mine. All mine."

Killua giggles. "Yours." Killua leans in again, kissing Gon like there is no tomorrow. A fire spreading through each of them. They are finally where they are meant to be.
