Jin didn't like how things were going. At work, Y/N was out killing everything in sight and she would come back to HQ late at night covered in blood. Namjoon hasn't fucked anyone since Terry, which was only a few days ago but it was unusual for the school fuckboy to not fuck anybody. There was a rumor that was going around the Namjoon had called Terry a different name while having sex and no one really cared except for Terry herself.
"What name did you call her?" Hoseok had asked.
"Y/N." Namjoon responded with a mouth full of food.
And that was it, that was the end of the conversation and it had never been brought up again. Jin leans across the counter top of his small cafe and sighs, looking at the empty store before him. It was almost closing time and he had already done the required cleaning for the night. He hears the shop bells chime as the door opens and he sighs internally, seeing Namjoon come inside with a look of worry on his face.
"Is she here?" He asks.
"This is now the 5th day you've come in here, Joon. Just give her some space." Jin replies calmly to his friend.
Namjoon had been coming into the shop everyday since their fight, wanting to get a chance to talk to his partner.
"I think five days has been enough. I just want to apologize. So please, just let me see her." Namjoon sighs.
Namjoon starts to walk back to the kitchen and Jin begins to panic, knowing that she wasn't back there.
"Namjoon, I wouldn't go back there." Jin says, holding out an arm to block the younger from walking into the double doors.
"Why? Does she hate me that much?" Namjoon asks.
Jin couldn't think of an acceptable answer and he kept quiet, seeing headlights pull up in the driveway. Fear ran through him as Namjoon pushes the doors, opening them at the same time the bells chimed at the front of the store.
"Why is he here?" Y/N seethes, blood on her cheek.
Namjoon stops and turns around, seeing the blood covered girl as if he had never seen her before.
"He's looking for a friend." Jin says quietly.
Namjoon stands in fear as he watches the girl take out all of her guns and lays them out onto the counter. She takes a rag and wipes the blood from her face and arms, sighing once she was clean.
"Who might that be?" She asks.
"Y/N L/N." Jin replies.
"Oh, her. Why do you care for that loser anyway?" She asks, taking a knife from her boot and cleaning it with the bloodied rag.
Namjoon doesn't answer as he feels as though he's going to vomit and he turns to Jin, who wasn't affected at all.
"J-Jin? I think I'm gonna be sick." Namjoon whispers quietly.
"Aish, you know, of all the times to come in here looking like that, you just could have taken a shower in the warehouse." Jin says, pulling his friend into one of the booths.
"Where's the fun in that? I wanted to see you anyway, we need to talk about something." Y/n replies.
Jin looks down at Namjoon who had his head on the table, taking deep breaths to try and calm himself down. Jin nods and leads Y/N into the back room so she could start talking. Namjoon could only stay where he was in order to not throw up all over the table but he could hear the hushed voices of his friend and the demon girl from the kitchen.
"Jin what the hell kind of a business do you run?" He groans, slowly sitting back up against the leather of the booth.
He could hear the girl start to raise her voice and his eyes widen with fear, his heart beating faster with every word she said.
"The entirety of the Gooling gang has been killed and you tell me that I shouldn't have done that? They were after our goods, Seokjin. They had spies in our ranks, I couldn't just sit back and let them corrupt my business like that!" Y/N yells.
"You could have sent them warnings!" Jin says.
"You don't think I did? They called my bluff and they suffered dearly for it. I don't let anybody fuck with the Black Stones and you know that. Don't start doubting me now Kim Seokjin or else you will be next to die. Or better yet, take your friend that's sitting out there, Kim Namjoon. Maybe he'll be my next target!" She says.
Namjoon hurries to get out of his seat and stumbles to get to the front door, reaching out for the handle before a gunshot goes off behind him, part of the wood flying off of the door as he just barely pushes it open.
"Where do you think you're going, Joonie?" Y/N asks, putting the gun back into her pants.
"N-Nowhere." He stutters.
"Have a seat." She extends her arm toward the booth he had been sitting in moments before.
He moves slowly as her eyes watch him like a hawk, sitting down as a feeling of uneasiness washes over him. She sits across from him while Jin watches from the back of the kitchen, fearing the worst as he doesn't know what Y/N will do.
"Why were you looking for Y/N?" She asks.
"I wanted to talk to her." He responds.
"About?" Y/N raises an eyebrow.
"Things." He mumbles.
She bangs her fist on the table, making Namjoon jump and shrink back in fear before he sees her inhale deeply to regain her composure.
"Tell me what you want to talk to her about and I'll relay the message." Y/N says.
"I really don't think you should be in our business." Namjoon calmly states.
"Look here, I still have a gun, I can shoot you whenever I feel like it. Y/N hasn't been in her right mind, tell me what you want to say to her, exactly what you want to say, and I'll tell her." Y/N says.
"Is she okay?" Namjoon asks, leaning forward with his eyebrows crossed in worry.
Y/N blinks, not really thinking the boy in front of her would care enough to ask about her well being.
"Not really. She hasn't been herself lately." She admits.
She was bathing in blood far too often and she knew that it was time for the bloodshed to stop, to get things back to normal. She hasn't gotten laid in forever either and she's been denying everyone that throws himself her way, wanting to just be by herself for a little while.
"You promise to relay every word I say? And not a summary?" Namjoon asks.
"Yeah." Y/N sighs.
"No, you have to promise." He sticks his pinky finger out.
"A pinky promise? What are you, five?" Y/N scoffs.
"Please." Namjoon put on puppy dog eyes as he looks up at her, silently pleading.
"God, fine. Yes, I promise." She says, hooking her own pinky around Namjoon's.
"Well, I wanted to apologize for being a dick to her. I want to say that I was sorry for treating her like shit when she thought it was something more than a project. Hell, honestly I thought it was more than a project. Ah, you see, we have a project where we act like a married couple for a while and record everything down and submit it to the teacher. Anyway, I think that I've developed feelings for her because on the day that she-well, we, got into an argument, I had sex with two other girls earlier that day. And both times I said her name instead of theirs. Yah, I feel like such an idiot for trying to get into her pants all the time. Usually I would just fuck around but something about her made me calm down, take it slow for once. I even kissed her slowly and I did not like that at all." Namjoon says.
"You didn't like kissing her?" Y/N asks quietly.
"No, I loved kissing her, her lips are one of the softest I've ever kissed. It's just, I'm used to going fast and to have that taken from me was like a whole other ball game that I didn't know how to play. Please just tell her that I'm sorry and that I miss her. She should come home, the house is empty without her laugh." Namjoon looks at the table as he speaks, his face heating up as he talks about her.
It was silent for a while before Namjoon looks up to see that Y/N was looking out the window, deep in thought. He blinks as he seems to have seen that same look before.
"Do...I don't know you, do I?" He asks carefully.
"No, I've never met you before but Y/N talks. Is this all you have to say?" Y/N continues.
"Y-yes." Namjoon says.
"I'll tell her every word. You may go, if you tell anybody about tonight, tell Y/N your final goodbyes." She says, staring into his chocolate orbs with a glare.
"I-I won't...May I have your name?" He asks slowly.
"No, you may not. Leave. Now." She says.
Namjoon does as he's told but stops at the door, looking back at the kitchen to see Jin looking back at him.
"Does...Does Jin work for you?" He asks hesitantly.
"Everyone works for me." Y/N states.
"E-Everyone? What about my mom?" Namjoon smirks.
"Why do you think she's on a business trip?" Y/N looks him dead in the eye.
"A-And Y/N?" He stutters.
"She's just a cook, she's not good enough to be a part of the mafia." She says.
Namjoon felt himself sigh in relief and he turns back to the door to leave.
"I'm sure she'll forgive you." Y/N says as he goes through the door.
"I hope you're right." He mumbles as he finally exits the shop.
Jin slowly comes out of the kitchen, being wary of Y/N as he doesn't really know what she's thinking of.
"Jin, I want to see how good he is at shooting a gun." Y/N says quietly.
"I-I'm sorry?" Jin asks, doing a double take in her suddenness.
"I think it would be a good idea to scare him a bit. Pets are meant to be played with after all." Y/N smiles.
"So you want him to come here? What if he finds out who you really are?" Jin asks.
"How much do you wanna bet that he never finds out?" Y/N replies.
"Alright, you got me there. So what do you want me to do?" Jin crosses the rom to sit across from her.
"I want you to talk to him when he confronts you. If he asks about what you do, you tell him. Do not tell him about anyone but you. If he's interested, have him in my office as soon as possible, if not then leave it alone. I will talk to Taehyung about getting a custom gun for him or maybe Jungkook can have an extra corner he can spare for the kid." Y/N says.
"So...he's one of us now?" Jin leans back against the red leather of the booth.
"Well, I want to see where his loyalties lie before making a decision. He knows too much already so it's not like he can learn much more." Y/N shrugs.
"I guess you're right. Unless he does figure out it's you. You can't keep living a double life like this, Y/N." Jin sighs.
"I can't? You didn't know I was the leader until a month after I took you in." Y/N chuckles.
"H-Hey, that doesn't count. It's not my fault you're good at looking like someone else." Jin stutters.
"That's called keeping a low profile. If Namjoon can't keep a secret, he's dead. If he blabs to someone else, he's dead. If he gets in my way in the slightest, he's dead. Get that through his head before he starts." Y/N threatens.
"You know, I will never understand how your sick mind works." Jin says.
"Good, if you knew what I was thinking, you would shit yourself." Y/N mumbles.
"Would I?" Jin raises an eyebrow.
"Yes, you would." Y/N says, taking make up remover from her back pocket, starting to clean herself up to get ready to go home.
"So what are you going to do now?" Jin asks.
Y/N thinks for a minute, pulling back the now dirty cloth in her hand before putting on her glasses on and taking off her black hoodie.
"I'm gonna go home." She says after a little while.
"Is that a good idea? What're you gonna say to him?" Jin asks, watching as she changes her pants into shorts.
"I don't know yet, check back in a few hours. I think I believe him for now but I'll keep my distance just in case my decision bites me in the ass." Y/N sighs as she stands up.
"Okay, so I'll see you at school tomorrow?" Jin asks, standing up with her.
"I guess. I have to take care of a few things first. Isei is getting on moms last nerve so I gotta go beat his ass before going back to Namjoon's house." Y/N digs in her purse for her car keys.
"Ah, good luck with that. If you need anything just know I'm always here, okay?" Jin says.
"Yeah I know, thank you." She smiles before leaving Jin alone in the store once more.
Namjoon stares up at the ceiling fan, the noise of the TV almost non existent as he waits to hear her car pull up to his house. The talk with the girl in the cafe had given his mind a little bit of rest but he didn't know if he could trust the girl who had blood all over herself. He felt himself grow anxious as time kept passing, checking his phone didn't mean anything as he knew it was already too late in the night for her to actually be coming back to his place. He lays on his side and squints as the TV turns to a brightly colored panel, sighing as he tries not to worry so much.
He had felt empty when she had started to avoid him not only at school but had taken earlier shifts in the day in order to not have any contact with him. Her actions had made his chest hurt, something that he was so confused about as he's never had the feeling before. He groans and sits up slowly, deciding to give up for the night and just go to bed. He wonders if the girl had even talked to Y/N at all or if she was ever going to for that matter. He got up from the couch and makes a move to turn off the TV when he saw the glare of headlights flash across his walls, turning around so quickly that he almost lost his balance. He heard the car door shut and he stopped his movements, his heart pounding in his ears as he waits for her to come inside. The door opens and the kitchen light is turned on, illuminating her pale face as she stands in the doorway, looking back at Namjoon.
"I know that you probably don't want to talk to me but I want to say that-" She starts.
Without thinking, he crosses the room and takes hold of her, giving her a hug to stop her from talking.
"I'm so sorry for being a dumbass." He says, the feeling in his chest starting to go away the more he held her.
He felt her hands grip his shirt before embracing him back, making him sigh into her hair.
"I guess I'll forgive you." She says, her voice muffled within his shirt.
"You guess? I've been worried sick about you and I've never missed anybody more than I've missed you and you'll guess you'll forgive me? That hurts." He puts a hand over his heart.
"Ha ha, good joke." Y/N rolls her eyes, trying to get out of his grasp.
"Y/N, I'm serious. Please don't do that again." His voice cracks a bit as he looks down at her.
She blinks at his tone of voice and looks up at him, seeing the seriousness in his eyes.
"Okay." She says.
He wanted to ask about the girl he had talked to earlier but he decided that it would be better if he held his tongue. He sees her open her mouth to speak but he quickly put his mouth over hers before she could utter a word out. The kiss itself was sweet and caring, not like the kisses he usually give out but he didn't care at the moment. He found a new fondness toward these kinds of moments with Y/N and grew to like the feeling of going slow. He felt her kiss him back and lean into him, his arms wrapping around her waist. They pull away and Namjoon holds her close to him, kissing the top of her head.
"I missed you too." Y/N says, making Namjoon smile.
"Good." He replies, leading her up to her room.
He lets her go and she misses the feeling slightly, leaning onto her door as she tries not to think about going further with him right then and there. Namjoon had to physically hold his hands behind his back in order to restrain himself from attacking her with kisses.
"So, I guess this is good night?" He asks.
She bit her lip in thought, wanting so badly just to say no but knew that the better thing to do was to deny him just a little bit longer.
"Y-Yes. Good night." She says lowly.
Yet neither one of them moved to leave, both of them itching to be touched by the other. Y/N slowly started to close the door and was able to close it all the way before sighing in frustration.
No, this is not good night.
She opens the door to see that Namjoon had walked a little ways away from the door and she gave him a desperate look before running up to him to attach her lips to his.
