Y/N's POV:

I was in a dream of Beacon. I was standing in front of a burning building, I heard a screaming come from the courtyard as I run to the origin of the screams.

I turned a corner and saw a demonic being with red glowing eyes stabbing Ruby through the stomach with the rest of the girls mutilated behind them.

Y/N: (horrified) Ruby! Weiss! Blake! Yang!

The demon turned towards me, and pulled the sword from Ruby's Corpse as walked to me with his eyes growing brighter as he raised the weapon to strike me down.

I wake up to the dorm room while panting as sweat was dripping down from my face. I looked around for the girls and see they were gone. I look at the door and saw a note taped to it.

Note: "Gone to the library, <3 RWBY!"

Y/N's thoughts: What the hell was that dream?

Third Person POV

Y/N got dressed and exited the dorm.

???: Morning, Y/N.

He turned and saw Arc, Dean, Vali, Nikki, Týra, and Ember who was being held by \the Umbra Witch.

Y/N: Hey guys.

Arcturus: I heard your training with the others went well.

Y/N: Yeah, these guys are tough instructors but I've pulled through.

Týra: Our lessons did gave you a challenge.

Vali: Where are you going?

Y/N: To the library, the girls already here before I woke up.

Dean: Mind if we join you?

Y/N: Sure. 

F/N's POV: 

I was in Professor Ozpin's waiting for him and Professor Goodwitch to arrive with General James Ironwood. Ironwood and I did not trust or like each other but as military commanders, we respected each other. I looked out of the window and saw an entire Atlas fleet outside.

F/N: (shaking my head) Bringing the entire Atlas military to Beacon? Like that won't raise any suspicion.

Ozpin, Goodwitch and Ironwood walked into the office.

Ironwood: F/N.

F/N: Ironwood. 

Ironwood: Ozpin, would you mind explaining why he's here?

Ozpin: Of course James. (sat on his desk) Now I'm sure that you are familiar with Jack the Ripper, the apprentice of Frank Jaeger?  

Ironwood: (nodded) Unfortunately.

Ozpin: Well, he is F/N's son and he is attending Beacon. F/N and DVANT are training him to fight great threats that would harm the school.

Ironwood: (eyes widened) What?! You have the Ripper here in your school?! Have you lost your mind?!

Glynda: James, I understand your concern but Y/N is just a boy and he wants to help.

Ironwood: What makes you think that he actually wants to help and is not just putting on a show for us to trust him until he betrays us?! I say we destroy him while we have the chance!

F/N: (glares) Watch your words, Ironwood. He is my son. Harm him and I'll rain down the most divine wrath upon you.

I had dark purple and black aura surging my body as the building shakes, making Ironwood stepped back in fear.

Just then, I felt a hand placed on my shoulder as I turn to see Yasuke. 

Yasuke: F/N, please. Calm yourself. 

I sighed as the aura I had faded and the building stops shaking. 

Ozpin: James, Y/N is our student here and he has done nothing wrong so we cannot hold him accountable for his past actions. 

Ironwood: (sighs) I just don't want him to become who he was years ago. 

F/N: That's why I'm here, to make sure that he doesn't.

Yasuke: You have the right to be skeptical, but Y/N is starting his new life at Beacon. He won't turned into Jack the Ripper.  

Ironwood: Very well. (to Ozpin) Now I hope I can trust you to keep an eye on him.

Ozpin: Of course James.

Ironwood: But ask yourself this: Do you honestly believe that he can win a war?

He turns and walks into the elevator.

F/N: I hope he never has to.

Y/N's POV 

We walked into the library as I looked around for the girls. I found them playing some board game, I went up behind all of the girls and gave them a huge hug. 

Y/N: Hey girls. 

RWBY: Ahh!! Pervert!!

Ruby, Blake, and Weiss slapped me and Yang punched me in the nose, breaking it. I let go of them as I fall down while holding my nose in pain.

Y/N: Gah, shit! I thought you girls would've recognized me!

Yang: Y/N?! Oh my god, I'm so sorry! (places my head on her lap) Are you okay? 

Y/N: (groans) Yeah, I'm fine. Just give me a sec. 

I grabbed my nose and bent it back into place, making a cracking noise as it bent into shape. I looked at the girls, seeing them have a squeamish reactions as my nose made a loud snap.

Y/N: Christ, I really thought you girls would've recognized your boyfriend. 

RWBY: We're sorry, (gives me the puppy eyes) we thought you were a perv trying to get with us.

Dean: (smirks) Nice way to say hello to your girlfriends, gramps. 

Y/N: Shut up, Dean. (to RWBY) And don't do that again, or I'll be sent to the hospital. 

RWBY: Sorry Y/N.

Y/N: (sighs) What am I going to do about you four? 

I gave them each a kiss on the lips. After I was done they looked like they were about to pass out.

Y/N: Um, you girls okay? 

They gave a nod looking away.

Y/N: Okay then. 

Dean: (smirks) Nice way to say hello to your girlfriends, gramps.

Y/N: Shut up, Dean. (to RWBY) So what are you guys playing?

Yang: (sits on my lap) We're playing Remnant: The game, Honey

Y/N: Whoa! Yang, getting a little frisky there.

Yang: (seductive smile) No, I just thought I could teach you how to play~.

Y/N: Okay, I think I'll pass. Could you get off me now?

She got off my lap and I grabbed a chair sitting down beside Ruby and Blake.

Vali: You look like you're busy. We'll be reading at the library if you need us.

The girls and I started playing "Remnant: The Game" when the building started shaking and we all looked around, wondering what that was.

Y/N: Huh, must have been Tremor.

Ruby: Yeah I go with that. All right! (points at Yang) Yang Xiao Long, prepare your kingdom for battle!

Yang: Bring it on!

Ruby: I deploy the Atlesian Air Fleet! Looks like I get to fly right over your Ursai and attack your walls directly!

Yang: (points at Ruby) You fiend!

Ruby: And since Atlas is part of Mantle, my repair time is only one turn.

Yang: (laughs arrogantly and holds up her card) Pretty sneaky, sis, but you just activated my trap card! Giant Nevermore! (slams the card on the table) If I roll a seven or higher, fatal feathers will slice your fleet in two!

Ruby: (points at Yang) But, if you roll a six or lower, the Nevermore will turn on your own forces! 

Yang: That's just a chance I'm willing to take! (rolls a seven) Yes!

Ruby: Nooooo!!! My fearless soldiers!

Y/N: Destroy the pitiful Atlas troops!

Ruby: I will avenge them!

Y/N: How will you when you have no forces left?!

Ruby: Have you no heart?

Y/N: No! I have no heart I feel no love, nor fear, nor joy, nor sorrow! I am (puts my fist to my chest) hallow!

Ruby: (collapses on the table) Nooo!

Yang: Well, Weiss, it's your turn.

Weiss: I have.... absolutely no idea what's going on.

Yang: Look, it's easy! You're playing as Vacuo which means that all Vacuo-based cards come with a bonus.

Weiss: That sounds dumb.

Yang starts looking at Weiss' cards.

Y/N's thoughts: Don't trust her Weiss.

Yang: See, you've got Sandstorm, Desert Scavenge... Oh, oh! (shows Weiss a certain card) Resourceful Raider!

Y/N's thoughts: Don't do it Weiss. 

Yang: Now you can take Ruby's discarded Air Fleet-

Ruby: Nooo!

Yang: -and put it in your hand!

Weiss: Ok

Yang: And since Vacuo warriors have an endurance against Natural-based hazards, you can use Sandstorm to disable my ground forces and simultaneously infiltrate my kingdom! (points at Weiss) Just know that I will not forget this declaration of war.

Weiss: And that means...

Ruby: Your just three moves away from conquering Remnant!

Weiss: Yes! Fear the almighty power of my forces! Cower as they pillage your homes and weep as they take your children from your very arms!

Y/N: Oh, I never would've taken Weiss for a savage! (Weiss puts her fists on her hips, proud) but I always took her for a fool!

Weiss: What?

Y/N: Yang? 

Yang: Trap card!

Weiss: Huh?

Yang: Your armies have been destroyed.

Weiss: I hate this game of emotions we play.

Ruby: (hops onto her lap) Stay strong, Weiss! We'll make it through this together!

Weiss: Shut up! Don't touch me!

Y/N: Alright Yang! (points at Yang) Are you prepared to face the forces of Vale?!

Yang: Bring it on, little bro!

Dean: Hey, that game looks fun. Can I play? 

Jaune: Oh, me too!

Ruby: Sorry guys, we already have four people.

Weiss: Besides, this game requires a certain level of tactical cunning that I seriously doubt that you possess.

Y/N: You attacked your own naval fleet.

Weiss groans in annoyance and I began to think about everything that has happened.

Jaune: Bring it on, ice queen! I'll have you know that I've been told that I'm a natural, born leader!

Weiss: (sarcasm) By who? Your mother?

Jaune: And Pyrrha. 

Pyrrha: (waves) Hello. 

Jaune: Come on, let me play your hand for a turn.

Weiss: I'm not trusting you with the good citizens of Vacuo.

Jaune: Why not?! You've trusted me with way more important stuff before! I mean you told us all that Blake is secretly a Fau-

I used my demon speed to get up and put a hand on his mouth as Pyrrha dod the same as we said in unison.

Pyrrha/Y/N: Fun-loving person whom we all admire and respect!

Blake glare at him for almost spilling the beans.

Jaune: (scratches the back of his head) Right, that. Ladies, (bows) enjoy your battle.

Y/N: (looks at Dean) Dean, can I trust you with the forces of Vale? To lead them to victory?

Dean: (smiles, thumbs up) Leave it to me!

Y/N: (hands my cards to Dean) Do not fail me!

I got up, walked out of the library and headed to our dorm. On the way I ran into Sun and Neptune, another best friend of mine.

Sun: Hey dude!

Y/N: Hey Sun. Neptune, glad to see you. 

Neptune: You too man. But, uh, aren't libraries for reading?

Ren: Thank you!!

Nora: PANCAKES!!!

Sun: Shut up, don't be a nerd.

Neptune: Geh, geh, geh, geh! "Intellectual", okay? Thank you. (looks at Y/N) Anyway, what's up?

Y/N: I've just been thinking about everything that has happened. I think it's about time for the girls and I to go after Torchwick, and I want you two to come with us.

Sun: Absolutely, you can always count on us!

Y/N: Great, head to our dorm later and we'll come up with a plan together.

I continued to walk back to our dorm and come up with a plan.

Blake's POV

Y/N just walked out of the library, I bet he's thinking about Torchwick and the White Fang too. I decided to go after him to talk, when I got to our dorm I saw Y/N looking out of the window.

Blake: Hey Y/N. 

Y/N: (without looking at me) Hey Blake

Blake: You thinking about Torchwick too?

Y/N: Well yeah, but it's about what Wesker said to me. "So you're the one?" I can't get it out of my head. Could they be working for Mundus? 

Blake: Mundus? Isn't that the Demon King? 

Y/N: I need to know what they're planning and if they're actually working for him. 

Suddenly, Y/N felt a nudge on his arm as we noticed Ember was sitting next to him. 

Y/N: Hey Ember. Did you walk away from DVANT to see us? 

Blake: I guess she is a trouble maker.

The rest of the team walked in with Dean, Vali, Arc, Nikki, and Týra. 

Yang: Y/N, you rascal!

Y/N: I take it Dean destroyed your army?

Arcturus: Yep. Dean has conquered Remnant.

Yang: Ugh, we should have never let Dean play!

Dean: Now, now, no need to be a sore loser. (Yang glares at him)

Ruby: You're just mad cuz' he beat you. See, if you had just attacked when I told you none of this would have happened.

Vali: The outcome still would've been the same.

Y/N: (chuckles) I knew he wouldn't fail me.

Dean: (sees Ember) There you are! Sorry about that, guys.

Blake: (hands her back) It's alright.

Y/N looks out the window again and I walked up to him and put my hand on his shoulder to comfort him. 

Y/N: I need to go for a walk. 

Y/N was about to leave, but Weiss stops in front of him.

Weiss: (points) Stop! (Blake stops) Lately you and Blake have been quiet, antisocial and moody!

Y/N: Uh, what? 

Weiss: Which I get is kind of your thing, but you've been doing it more than usual! Which quite frankly, is unacceptable! You made a promise to me, to all of us, that you would let us know if something was wrong! (flips through the air as six copies of her emblem fly through the air) So, Blake Belladonna, Y/N Rose! What! Is! Wrong?! (points her finger at Blake and Y/N)

Weiss was balancing precariously on a chair's back feet. She quickly puts the chair away and returns to stand near the girls.

Nikki: In all seriousness, what's going on?

Blake: I just, I don't understand how everyone can be so calm.

Ruby: (approaching Blake) You're still thinking about Torchwick?

Blake: Torchwick, Wesker, Desperado, the White Fang, all of it! Something big is happening and no one is doing anything about it! And apparently (gestures to Y/N) he believes that they are working for Mundus. 

Yang: (approaching Y/N) Ozpin told us not to worry. Between the police and the Huntsmen, I'm sure they can handle it.

Y/N: I don't care! If Torchwick, Desperado, and Wesker working for Mundus, then that means it's personal!

Weiss: Torchwick is nothing but a criminal and you think that he's working for the Demon King himself?

Y/N: Yeah!

Arcturus: I'm with Y/N on this one. The chain-of-command has to lead to somewhere, Torchwick is not smart enough for something this big and the White Fang is working with him.

Týra: Lately, they haven't been behaving the way you know them.

Dean: Blake, Y/N, I get it; you were one of them once, for a good cause. But that was a lifetime ago. You haven't had any contact with them in years, so you can't deny that times have changed.

Blake: I know. But I have to do something.

Y/N: Same here. 

Weiss: Okay, between blowing up nightclubs, stopping thieves, and fighting for freedom, I'm sure the three of you think that you're all ready to go out and apprehend these ne'er-do-wells!

Ruby: Uh, who?

Arcturus: Bad guys. 

Ruby: Oh!

Weiss: But let me once again be the voice of reason. We're students! We're not ready to handle this sort of situation!

Ruby: Well yeah, but-

Weiss: We're not ready!

Blake: And we may never be ready! Our enemies aren't just going to sit around and wait for graduation day. (pointing toward the door) they're out there, somewhere, planning their next move, and none of us know what it is, but it's coming! Whether we're ready or not!

Karasu: Well, if you want to do something so badly, how about some reconnaissance?

Dean: That's... actually not a bad idea. Why can't you be like this more often?

Mimir: You forget, he's an OCD pidgin.

Karasu: I am NOT a pidgin!

Ruby: Okay, all in favor of becoming the youngest Huntresses and Huntsman to single-handedly taking down a corrupt organization conspiring against the Kingdom of Vale... say aye.

Arcturus: Eh, I've done crazier things, I'm in. 

Yang: (pumps her fist enthusiastically and points at Blake) Yes! I love it when you're feisty!

Weiss: Well, I suppose it could be fun.

Vali: These forces can't gain any more power.

Nikki: We'll need to find a sitter for Ember, but this sounds good.

Týra: We'll do this smart.

Ruby: None of you said aye!

Dean/Y/N: Aye/Aye sir! (Ruby smiles) 

Blake: Alright then, we're in this together!

Ruby: (gesturing) Let's hatch a plan!

Yang: ("double-guns" at Ruby) Yeah!

Ruby: (gasps) I left my board game in the library!

Weiss: (face palms) we're doomed.

Y/N: I'll get it, you guys come up with a plan.

Y/N walked out of the room leaving me and the rest of the team to come up with a plan.

I was running to the library to get Ruby's board game when I crashed into Emerald.

Y/N: It's you again. I'm sorry about that. 

I offered my hand to help her up which she accepted. I also see the silver haired boy as well.

Emerald: It's fine, just watch where you're going. 

Y/N: (looks at the boy) Is he your friend?

Emerald: Yeah, this is Mercury. 

Mercury: Hey. 

Y/N: So, you guys are new?

???: Visiting from Haven, actually.

I then saw a girl with black hair and amber eyes.

The black-haired girl smiles and walks over to me. She stops right in front of me and examines me. 

Black-haired girl: Hmm~. Not bad looking.

Y/N: Um...

Black-haired girl: Mind telling me your name?

Y/N: I'm Y/N. 

Black-haired girl: Well, Y/N, it was a pleasure to meet you.

Y/N: Thanks.

Black hair girl: I'm Cinder. And I've heard about you.

Y/N: Really?

Cinder: Of course. Professor Jupiter speaks highly of you.

Mercury: Rumor has it that you're unbeatable.

Y/N: I wouldn't say that, everyone has their limits.

Emerald: (to Mercury) I told you.

Y/N: So, you're here for the festival?

Cinder: Yes but we got lost on our way to our dorm. Would you mind helping us?

Y/N: Sure, your dorm is just to the east.

Cinder: Thank you, maybe we'll see you around, cutie~.

Y/N: (slightly blush) S-Sure, see you later.

As the three walks away, I continued staring at them. Cinder looks back and makes eye contact with me as she gives me a wink which made me a bit more. I couldn't help but feel a little off around them. I shrugged it off and continued to the library.

Cinder's POV

Mercury: So that was him?

Emerald: Apparently. He seemed suspicious of us already.

Mercury: Agree with you there, we should keep an eye on him.

I started giggling, causing the two to look at each other in confusion before looking back at me.

Emearld: Are you okay, Cinder?

Cinder: (giggles) I'm fine, Emerald. It's just that... that boy seems really... interesting~.

Mercury: If he's already suspicious of us, then he will be a threat.

Cinder: We'll see how things play out for now. But we'll make sure to keep a close eye on him.

Emerald: So, what are we going to do with him?

Cinder: We are going to do nothing to him. Our superiors have plans for him and when the time comes, the boy will join us. 

Just wait little Y/N, I will make you mine.
