After a short horse ride, the group find themselves at JD's home, "The Stroud Estate" and endures a tense first meeting with JD's father, Marcus Fenix.

The horses pull into the estate. JD looks at the place and sighs.

JD: Come on.

The group puts the horses inside the shed. Kait walks out and sees no one.

Kait: You said he'd be home.

JD: He's home. He's always home.

Weiss: But that house looks abandoned.

JD: Cause that's not where he lives. (motioning them to follow) Follow me.

Del: (steps up beside Kait) He's like that sometimes. You're about to find out why.

Kait: Terrific.

Alex: (looks at Drake) Drake, stay here and guard the horses. You see DeeBees? Cloak and find us.

Drake: Affirmative.

Týra: Wait a minute... Where's Y/N? 

Yang: He was with us while we were raiding. 

Ruby: (gasps) Did we loss him?!

Y/N: No, I'm right here.

When everyone saw Y/N, they notice he wasn't riding on his horse like the rest.

Dean: Y/N, uh, why aren't you riding your horse?

Y/N: Yeah, it just doesn't feel right for me, you know? Like riding another living thing.

Vali: But you just ate a steak a while ago.

Y/N: Yeah, but like, you wouldn't ride your dog.

Vali: If my dog was a horse, I'd ride it.

Y/N: Yeah, well what about elephants?! Most people freak out if you ride on elephants!

Natasha: (smirk) Y/N... can you not ride a horse? 

Y/N: Pfft. Natasha, I'm the transportation expert... Of course I can ride a horse.

... That was a total lie. Y/N had a bad experience with horses back, but he just doesn't admit it and he was not honest with himself.

Dean: Whatever you say, Grandpa. 

Y/N groans in annoyance. Del sees how weeds have grown and some barrels were left out.

Del: Thought he was gonna fix up the place?

JD: That was the plan. Fifteen years ago.

Alex: (shrugs) Maybe he just hadn't got to it yet?

Nikki: So, you grew up here?

JD: I was born here. I grew up in boarding school.

Blake: So how was he able to get permission to live outside a settlement?

Alex: (chuckles) Let me put it this way: he's like a rock. It's impossible to get him to do anything he doesn't want to do.

Tyrone: So in your words he's too stubborn to listen to anyone. Great.

Y/N then notices a tombstone on a yard as he walked towards it. 

Ruby: Y/N? 

JD knew where Y/N was heading as he followed him. He kneeled the gave tombstone and saw the words "Anya Stroud" written on it.  

Y/N: Anya Stroud. JD, who is that?

JD: (kneeled next to him) She was my mother. 

Y/N: Your mother?

JD: Yeah, she was the First Minister before Jinn took her place.

Blake: You said "was". So, she's dead then? Was it the Locust?

JD: No. She died in 27 A.E. from birthing complications of her second, unborn child.

Y/N: I'm sorry, JD. 

JD: (smiles) Thanks Y/N.

The group went into a small hose as JD opens the door and they see Marcus sitting in his chair.

Marcus: Welcome home, James.

JD: How'd you know we were here?

Marcus points to the side and they see a security computer.

JD: Huh, that's new.

Marcus: (takes a chug from his cup) Not that new.

JD: (sighs) Dad... we need your help.

Marcus: (stands from his chair) I'm all done helping you.

JD: But this time I'm not running from the COG.

Marcus: Del, Alex, you in this too?

Del: (nods) Waist deep.

Alex: Eh, more like neck deep.

Marcus: You two were supposed to keep him out of trouble.

Del: Now, you know that's not possible. (snickers)

Alex: (laughs) Yeah, ya should've changed his middle name to 'danger-prone'.

Marcus: (looks at Kait and Y/N's group) I'd introduce myself, but you'll be leaving soon.

Hayner: (sarcastic) Nice way to say hello to someone you never met.

Y/N: We don't want to cause trouble, Marcus.

Thror: Why don't we show you? 

Marcus: Show me what?

Hanzo: The Outsider's village was attacked.

Kait: And my mother was taken.

Marcus: 'Taken'?

Craten: Along with her and Alex's uncles, Oscar and Gary.

Sonro: And half of the Outsiders.

Mimir: The other half were killed by Yamata's clan. Kutahu, however, was killed by a giant monster called Moebius. 

JD: (pulls out the crystal) Dad, you should look at this.

Marcus: No, YOU look. I warned you not to join the COG. What did you do?

JD: (rolls his eyes) Dad...

Marcus: I told you, 'Don't go Outsider. The COG'll hunt you down!' Again, what did you do?!

JD: (shoving the crystal in his face) Would ya shut up and look!

Marcus takes the crystal and inspects before widening his eyes.

Marcus: Shit.

Del: Uh, guys?

Del points to Marcus's security system and they saw DeeBees entering the estate.

Marcus: (looks at JD) Thought you said you said you weren't running from the COG?

JD: (gives an awkward grin) Yeah, that wasn't completely accurate.

Marcus: (growls) Goddamn it, James!

The door gets ripped open and they see another of Jinn's screen DeeBees.

Jin: Ah, Commander. Time to finish our earlier conversation.

Alex: (rolls his eyes) Jesus Christ, Jinn, I know you like to make an entrance, but ripping the door off a man's home? Don't you even have the fucking decency to knock?

JD: Listen, Jinn, you have no idea what's actually happening here.

Jin: Oh, but I do. Sedition. Led by one James Dominic Fenix, one Y/N Sparda Rose, and one Alexander Revenant Carmine, the sons and daughter of four famously disgruntled old Gears. Speaking of which...

Marcus then steps in front of her.

Jin: Sergeant, how are you? Sorry about the door.

Alex: Oh, NOW you apologize!

Marcus glares at him to shut up.

Marcus: Don't sweat it. We were just leaving.

Jin: So we're clear, Sergeant: if you choose to aid these fugitives, I can't protect you.

Marcus: Yeah. That sounds about right.

The former Gear revs the bayonet of his Lancer and levels it at Jinn.

Jin: Son of a-

Jinn gets cut off as her bot gets sawed in half.

Alex: You know, I was just about to suggest you do that.

Ruby: But wouldn't that make her mad? 

Jin: ALL UNITS FIRE AT WILL!!!

A Kestrel and several DeeBees start firing at the house, bullets flying through glass and rock.

Arcturus: Yep, we pissed her off!

Marcus: Main house! Go!

They all rush toward the back window and Marcus motions them out.

Del: (chuckles) Nice to see you still have a way with people, Marcus!

Marcus: Just head for the back door!

He looks up and sees several DeeBee pods drop down.

Marcus: Ah shit. Guess we're dealing with this first!

Alex tosses a grenade and blows up half of the DeeBees before running over and using his Gorgons to shoot the rest down. Marcus kicks open a door.

Marcus: I take it these are Jinn's new toys.

Thror: Yep. We've been playing with them all day.

Marcus: (motions them over) Come on. Follow me upstairs.

Rayder: What's upstairs?

Marcus: Family heirlooms.

More DeeBees appear inside and they clean the house. Marcus approaches a book shelf.

Marcus: Here. Ergh, now which damn book is it?

Marcus yanks the book off and the shelf opens like a door to reveal a room with armor and weaponry.

Daniel: Holy shit...

Alex: Come to papa.

JD: (steps up next to Marcus) You kept our armor.

Marcus: (hands him a Lancer) I knew you'd be back. Probably with your ass on fire.

Alex looks at his custom armor and Lancer.

Alex: I'm never leaving you guys again.

Ruby: (eyes sparkle) Wow! You customised your weapons and armor! 

Yang: Why is it red and not blue?

Alex: Blue is not my kind of style. So I decide to change the color to red. 

Arcturus: I like it. It matches your personality. 

Kait struggles to strap her chest piece and Marcus notices.

Marcus: Let me get that.

Kait: Kinda feels like I'm wearing a door.

Marcus: ( adjusts the strap) Good. It's supposed to. Didn't catch your name.

Kait: Kait.

Marcus Well... take good care of that armor, Kait.

Marcus walks towards his computer. Kait looks at him confused as JD steps up.

JD: Uh, it belonged to my mother.

Del sees Marcus on his computer.

Del: Whoa. What's that?

Marcus: (steps back) Just callin' in a favor.

Del: Speaking of favors...

Del unwraps Marcus's old bandana from his wrist and hands it to him.

Del: You probably want this back.

Marcus then ties his bandana around his head.

Marcus: Alright, time to introduce the new COG to the old COG, and clear these bucket-heads out of my house.

Alex: (chuckles evilly as he revs his Lancer) Let's shred some shit!

Gears of War Chapter 5 ended. 

Sorry if it's a short chapter, I did what I could. Before I could end this, I hate to this, but I planned on getting rid of Red vs Blue and Legend of Korra. 

I'm not saying it because I hate it. It's just I feel like I'm overworking my myself with the worlds of this story and I don't know how these two would fit in with the story. 

The only exceptions that fit well with RWBY are Devil May Cry, Bayonetta, God of War, Gears of War, Fairy Tail, and Resident Evil. Because they all have similar themes when it comes to monsters, magic, horror, war, and friendships.

I'm not sure what to do with Kingdom Hearts though, it remains a mystery me, even though it does some similar themes like magic and friendships.
