Meanwhile, Team DVANT are still trying to figure out another way into the Locust burial site, but...

Arcturus: Is it me or did we got ourselves lost again? 

Karasu: Nonsense, I know exactly where we're going. 

Vali: If we're further away the Locust burial site... 

Nikki: Easy, Vali. It's not like we have a map or anything. 

Týra: Still, we have to find the others before something bad happens to them.

???: Unfortunately, you won't be reuniting them. 

Team DVANT turned and saw Mazoku walking from the shadows. 

Dean: Who is he? 

Mimir: Beats me. He looks like an ancient samurai.

Nikki: (senses his power) Wait, this power.

Vali: (glares) Yeah, it's just that Oroku person we've encountered back at the village. Only it's stronger than that.

Mazoku: Oh? So you've met my brother, did you? I shouldn't expect no less from the strongest team of future Huntsmen and Huntresses. 

Dean: He's your brother?

Mazoku: Yes. Allow me introduce myself. I am Mazoku. Lord Mazoku Black Dragon. Second son of the Dark Lord, Ataru Black Dragon. The deadliest of the Dark Lord's children. 

Arcturus: The deadliest huh? 

Týra: What do you want? 

Mazoku: Simple, the reincarnation of the Dark Knight Sparda. 

Dean: The old man? 

Vali: I suppose you and your family want him dead.

Mazoku: Now who said we wanted you dead?

Nikki: What do you mean? 

Mazoku: I don't have time for this. Tell me where he is, and I leave you unharmed. 

Arcturus: Sorry, but we're not gonna sold out our friend. (summons his Keyblade) 

Mazoku: (smirks) Hmph. I had a feeling you would say that. (draws his katana) Very well, show me what you can do. 

The rest of Team DVANT draw their weapons as they charged at Mazoku. 

*with RW and Alex's team* 

The group then climbs onto the transporter and looks around. Several pods hang from various parts and tendrils hang off the sides.

Ruby: So, Alex, you think it'll work?

Alex: You kiddin' me? I could fix somethin' like this in my sleep! Let's find the control room.

Del: You know it's gonna take a lot more than just kicking it a couple times and then flipping the 'on' switch, right?

Alex: O' ye of little faith. (chuckles) Drake's proof that I'm great with machines.

Del: Yeah, my confidence still isn't that high.

Alex budges the door open and aims his light at the room.

JD: Hey, check it out. There's a Fabricator in here.

Weiss: Huh. Wonder if it still works.

Alex pulls the switch and several lights and computer screens come online.

Alex: Bam! Told you I'm good with machines! Magic touch!

JD: Yeah, great. We turned on the lights. So why didn't the engine start?

Alex: (scratches his neck) Oh, right. Must be out of gas.

Del: Could try switching to the reserve tank?

JD: Okay, where do we do that?

Alex: (thumbs behind him) Just across the way. Come on.

Kait: Spike, Weiss and I will stay back and fire it up when you're done.

Ruby: Good idea.

Alex, JD, Del, and Ruby make their way down and suddenly get ambushed by several Juvies. Luckily, half of they got killed by the arrival of Y/N, Blake, Yang, and Team THNDR.

Ruby/Weiss: Y/N! Blake! Yang!

Thror: Never fear, the cavalry is here!

After killing the rest f them, JD wipes some blood off his arm.

JD: Really starting to hate those things.

Alex: Seriously? NOW you're starting to hate them? 

Del: What took you guys so long?

Thror: Sorry. (looks at Y/N, Yang, Blake, and Natasha) Some people fell asleep. 

Y/N: Oi! Don't blame me and the girls after we had... eh...

Weiss: Had what? 

Y/N: Eh... had a good night sleep. Yeah, that. 

Natasha, Blake, and Yang both looked each other and smiled. They knew Y/N was lying about them having sex with him. Ruby, Weiss, and even Kait got a suspicious feeling as well. 

Natasha: (notices DVANT isn't with them) Wait, where's Team DVANT?

Ruby: We've been separated from them. 

Alex: (pulls the lever) Okay, Kait! Let 'er rip!

Kait: Here goes nothing!

Kait then pulls the switch and the clamps release, making the transporter start its descent.

Yang: (smiles) And that's it! Down we go!

Blake: You do remember we're going straight down into a giant hive of monsters, right?

Yang: (loses her smile) I admit, in my excitement, that I kind of forgot about that part.

Y/N looks at the screens and sees Juvies and Drones start to climb aboard. 

Y/N: Speak of the devils....

Del: We've got a Fabricator, right? I say we fortify the control deck. It's defensible, we can cover the breach points-

Kait: Yeah, whatever. You had me at 'defensible'.

Alex and JD then fabricate several barriers at the stairwells and put turrets behind them. Suddenly the transporter starts slowing down abruptly.

Ah, why are we going slower?

Alex: Oh, son of a bitch! It's those fucking tendrils! Their getting caught in the gears!

Hayner: They're coming from the left side! 

The Pouncer growls and jumps down onto a Drone, ripping it's head off. Alex laughs as he hops down and starts mowing down the rest of the Swarm.

Ruby slices a Jackal in half with Crescent Rose before she shot two Grunts and one Jackal in her weapons sniper mode.

Weiss cast a glyph and unleashed ice shards at an Drone which pierces it's body in multiple spots killing it right on the spot.

Blake fires her Gambol Shot at a Sniper one the head killing it.

Yang grabs the Grenadiers and smacks both of them at each other on the head knocking them unconscious as she threw them away.

Ruby: Okay. Feels like we really kicked the hornet's nest here.

Yang: Nah, it's more like we kicked it, played catch with it, and then wore it like a hat!

Alex: (reloading his Lancer) Say whatever you guys want! I'm having a blast!

Weiss: Alex, you always have a blast whenever you have a gun on-hand.

Alex: (shrugs) What can I say? Trigger-happy is my middle name!

Blake: I thought it was Revenant.

The transporter then stops.

JD: Hey, we're stopping! Alex, what the hell's going on?

Alex: Aw, motherfucker! It's those stupid tendrils! They've overheated the engine!

Kait: They're coming in for another round!

Y/N: I got this! Agni! Rudra!

Y/N pulled out his two short swords and sent a massive gust of fire and wind straight at the Drones and Juvies, blowing them away or burning them to ashes. 

Del: Holy shit...

Kait: He is so badass...

JD: We can't take much more of this. We gotta get this rig moving!

Natasha: So let's restart it!

Alex: (grabs her hand from turning the switch) Hold it, hold it! That isn't gonna work! The tendrils heated the engine, remember? If we don't cool it, we're sitting ducks.

Daniel: Great, so now what?

Alex: We need to find the engine room.

They make their way down and find the room with large pipes and red wheels.

Alex: Okay, now we have to turn on the cooling system.

JD: (grabs one of the red wheels) So, I'm guessing the big wheels on the wall is how we do that?

Del: I see all those mechanical engineering classes paid off.

Alex and JD turn the wheels and blue smoke starts spraying the engine.

Alex: Now we just let the coolant do its job.

Ryder: And how long does it take?

Alex: Shouldn't be too long.

They then hear more growls and screeches.

Ruby: Uh oh.

Del: Did you hear that?

JD: Looks like we're not out of this yet!

Alex: We've got Pouncers!

One puncher tried to jump on Thror but he caught one by his hand and punched it away. Another Pouncer fires its quills from its tail at Natasha but she blocked them with her shield. 

As they attack the next wave of Swarm, the transporter starts to escalate in speed.

Kait: Uh, this platform keeps getting faster!

JD: Alex, what the hell's happening?

Alex: How the fuck should I know?

Del: I thought you said you were 'great with machines'?!

Alex: (sarcastic) Yeah, and I thought you were supposed to be great at hacking elevator controls! I DON'T FUCKING KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON, DEL!!!

The engine then starts to catch on fire and descends faster. The transporter then starts to tilt and the group slides down until they're stopped by a container, preventing them from falling in the fire.

Weiss: What just happened?

Y/N: I don't know, but this ride sucks!

A crane with fuel tanks swings around, coming towards them.

Blake: Look out! 

The group avoids the tank as it hits the deck and explodes.

Kait: Shit, shit! We're gonna crash!

Alex: Cover me! I'll find the emergency brake!

Alex was getting his footing and runs up towards the engine room. Alex pulls with all his strength and the lever turns the other direction. The transporter continues sliding down at a fast pace.

JD: Well that didn't work!

Yang: No duh, Sherlock!

The group then lose their footing.

Kait: We're all gonna die, aren't we?

Del: Yep, we're definitely gonna die!

Y/N: Hang onto something!

The transporter then miraculously starts to slow down.

Alex: HAHA!! The brakes engaged!

Kait: (pants) They still work? After all this? That's amazing!

Hayner: Well done, Alex. You have saved us.

Alex: What'd I tell ya? Magic touch!

The transporter stops, at least a hundred feet from the ground floor.

JD: Alright, guys. I think we're good!

The transporter then drops all the way to the ground after JD's sentence.

Y/N: You were saying?

Alex: (coughs as he grabs his Lancer) Ladies and gentlemen, we have now reached Hell's Floor. Please make sure you have all your belongings and children with you as you exit the vehicle. Thank you and have a nice day.

Del: Shut up, Alex.

Ruby: Is everyone alright?

Yang: I'm okay.

Del: Aside from Alex still being crazy, yeah. We're good.

Kait: Good enough. 

Y/N: Then let's find Marcus.

The group hops down onto the ground.

JD: Okay, this is where those Snatchers were going. Let's find out why.

As they make their way down, Lumina looks around the mining facility. 

Blake: So, the COG mined osmium down here. Seems like a big operation.

Del: Yeah, Lancer bayonets used to be coated with osmium, well till they tapped out the mine that is.

Alex: (whistles) Over here.

Alex pulls a switch and the door's lights turn from red to green as it opens.

Kait: How is there still power down here?

Alex: Mines like this are geothermal. As long Sera's still kicking, we got power.

JD kicked open a door and they see a room full of Hammerbursts and Boltoks.

Daniel: Uh, that's a lot of guns.

Y/N: Looks like they didn't just dump Locust bodies. They dumped their weapons down here too.

Natasha: That's creepy.

Alex: Or maybe they just didn't want to be reminded of the bastards by looking at these kinds of weapons. Emotionally, I'd feel the same way. Intellectually, waste of a good gun in my opinion.

JD: Let's... let's keep moving.

Kait: Why would Snatchers carry their prey all the way down here?

Thor: My guess? They're returning home to their hive.

Hayner: Which means there's a whole lot of ugly down there waiting for us.

Alex: Yep, and we're the plastic surgeons with rifles as tools.

They then approach a railing and see what looks like the entrance towards the hive.

JD: (points) See that? Over there. Must be the hive.

Del: More Snatchers too. If Marcus is anywhere...

Kait: He's in there.

Y/N: Agreed. Let's get across.

Alex lags behind as he then sees something.

Alex: Hey, guys! Take a look at this. It's a Locust shell.

Yang: (kicking it) Still intact too.

Weiss: Which means we know one thing: Swarm aren't Locust.

Ruby: So I heard Locust shells are indestructible?

Alex: Titanium, carbon steel, iron, simply put: any known metal of the Periodic Table is NOTHING compared to how hard these things are.

JD: I know, I know, but remember the crystal I dug out of that monster's hand? They look the same. 

Blake: Something's going on down here.

They then make their way towards a tunnel that's blocked off by a pile of Locust shells.

JD: Well, we're definitely in the right place.

Ruby: (looks closer) Wait, there's something-

Suddenly the shells start to rumble and they broke apart to reveal a Locust or Scion that grabbed Ruby by her throat. 

Scions are former Locust and leaders of the Swarm. Larger and stronger than Drones, they wielded heavy weapons and possessed the ability to empower and rally their subordinates by emitting a strange gas.

Y/N: RUBY!!!

Ruby was gasping for air when Y/N kicked the Scion, making it released her. The Heavy Scion fires its Mulcher at the group who went to cover.

Del: (takes a quick look at the Scion then ducks back down) Tell me that's not what I think it is!

Alex: A Locust drone the size of a Boomer? Yep!

Spike hops on top of a crate and sends several quills at the Scion, impaling in its head. The Locust drops dead as Drones and another Scion enter.

The Scion let's out a roar and stomps the ground while raising it's hand. The Drones shake as yellows veins crawl up their bodies and they growl at the group.

Kait: What the hell's it doing to those Drones?!

JD: (grunts as a bullets his shoulder) Not making 'em friendlier, that's for sure!

Alex: They're harder to kill! I think that Locust's roar made them tougher!

Y/N: Then let's take out that Locust! 

The Scion fires its Mulcher at Y/N but he summoned Yamato as he twirled his blade like a helicopter, catching the bullets and with a swing, tossed them back at the Swarm, killing them. 

JD: All right, let's just.... oh man. (pants) Let's head down that tunnel.

Daniel: Dude, I thought you said the Locust are dead?!

Thror: Maybe that's what everyone on Sera thought.

Kait: All this time. The Locust weren't dead. They were cocooned. Transforming.

Y/N: Not just transforming, they're evolving. 

Del: (cocks a brow) Like what? Evil butterflies?

Alex: (Scoffs) Del, please don't be thinking that. The last thing we need right now is for these bastards to grow wings.

JD opens the door to the next room as a Juvie runs off.

JD: Juvie!

Del: So are Juvies Locust?

Y/N: Del, have you been paying any attention at all? You said so yourself that the pods were like incubators. Juvies and Drones are us. We're thrown in by Snatchers, and then turned into those freaks in a matter of minutes.

As they enter a large chamber, Alex kicks open a door and sees a loader.

Alex: Ohhohoho, come to papa.

Alex hops in the machine. Alex gives it a crank and the loader lifts up on its' legs. A Juvie screeches are heard as dozens of them starts rushing at the group.

Alex: Here comes the Loading Train!

Alex rams and smashes the Juvies to bits. A Scion starts firing at Alex from a top a pile of Locust shells.

Alex: Oh, so you wanna play like that, huh?!

Alex charges at the shells, making several ceiling grates crash down on the Scion and the shells. The Loader gets damaged from ramming into the shells, making Alex hop out.

Alex: (chuckles awkwardly) Whoops.

The rest of the group comes up as They continue then making their way down.

Del: Just had a thought. How the hell is that ore transporter gonna get us back up?

Kait: Why? Because it's currently on fire?

JD: Let's destroy that bridge when we come to it, okay? Let's go.

Alex: (shrugs) Worst scenario: we can just climb up. Or... we could go with Devon's idea and saddle up a Snatcher-

JD, Kait, and Del: NO!

Alex: (pouts) Man, you guys just have no imagination! Wait a minute! (taps his comm) Drake, can you read me? It's Alex, over.... aw, shit. We must be too far down for radio contact.

Suddenly they start to hear static in their comms.

Yang: Hey, wait. You hear that?

Ruby: Is that...?

Y/N: Yeah, that's Marcus's radio! We must be heading right towards him! Let's go!

They then make it to a large opening with dozens of pods.

JD: Alright, check the pods for my dad. He's gotta be in one of the newer ones. Hurry.

Alex looks up and sees a Snatcher crawl in.

Alex: Snatcher!

JD: Time for some goddamn payback!

The Snatcher's tail lights up as it shoots a quill at Y/N, hitting him in the shoulder.

Y/N: GAAAH!!!

Natasha: Y/N!!

The Snatcher jumps down and scoops Y/N in his stomach, just like it did with Marcus back at Reval.

Weiss: NO!!!

Yang: (eyes turn red) That's it, kill that snatching bastard!

Blake rushed herself toward the Snatcher, producing a shadow-clone to further close the gap, where she sliced at the Snatcher's face repeatedly, producing another shadow-double to land on the Snatcher's back, rushing down and slicing with her weapon.

Weiss swung Myrtenaster to send waves of fire, ice, and lightning at the Snatcher. Yang  continued to fire multiple shots from Ember Celica at the Snatcher as Ruby dealt slashes on its body with Crescent Rose. 

Just then, the tunnel beneath them began to shake as something crashed onto the ground, creating a dust cloud. 

Thror: What the bloody hell was that?!

The dust cleared as it revealed Team DVANT who are slightly bruised while Mazoku, who had no injuries landed on his feet. 

Mazoku: Is that all you got? 

Dean: Damnit, our attacks barely lay a scratch on him! 

Vali: He's strong. 

Nikki: His power is different from every enemy we've faced. 

Týra: However, we cannot give up. 

Arcturus: She's right. We have to keep fighting!

Mazoku: So be it. If you want to die that badly, I'll happily give you that- 

He was cut off when everybody heard the Snatcher roaring in pain before it fell dead on the ground. Soon, a sharp blade cuts through its stomach as Y/N burst through the Snatcher with a yell while covered in goop. 

Dean: Holy crap! 

Nikki: He was inside that monster?! 

Thror, Natasha, Týra, Mimir, and even Mazoku saw Y/N was now wielding a pair of chain-like demonic swords as they sparked and surrounded in fire.

Thror: What the hell are those? 

Natasha: Are those Devil Arms? 

Týra: They seemed... familiar.  

Mimir: (shocked) No way... Those are...

Mazoku: The Blades of Chaos! He was able to find them from within the Snatcher?

Y/N: You've made a bad big mistake pissing me off. Now get lost! 

In the blink of an eye, Y/N swung the Blades of Chaos wildly, dealing incredible damage to Mazoku.

He then throws the blades as they wrapped around Mazoku's body. Surprising the son of Ataru, Y/N whips the chains around, causing him to fly around before he got slammed onto a wall. 

Y/N then saw a rock pillar above Mazoku as he thrust the Blades of Chaos which stabbed the sides of it before he pulled which made the rock pillar fall on top of Mazoku. 

Everyone widen their eyes and jaws in shock and awe. 

Alex: Holy shit... Total badass. 

Y/N took a few deep breaths before he fell to his knees. The girls rushed up to check up on him.

Blake: Thank god you're alright.

Ruby: Are you okay?

Y/N: I'm alright. (coughs) Jesus, it was nasty in there. 

Spike comes up and licks some of the goop off Y/N.

Mimir: By the way, nice swords you got there.

Y/N: (looks at the Blades of Chaos) Thanks, they do seem amazing. Whatever they are...

Mimir: Those are the Blades of Chaos, Brother. I know someone who wielded them, but how they ended up inside that monster's stomach, that I don't know. 

Y/N: And I sure as hell do not wanna find out.  

Dean: (waves his hand in front of his nose) Man, you smell like shit.

Y/N: (glares) Why don't you try some?

Y/N scoops some of the goop off himself and flings it at Dean, hitting him in the face.

Dean: Ugh! Hey! 

Y/N: Feels good, right?

Vali: Will you two cut it out? Start looking for new pods. 

Nikki: None of these look recent enough.

Týra: (sees a large hole) Then let's try searching over there.

They find another chamber of pods and see one that's more glowy and thinner than the others.

Arcturus: Hey, that pod looks new.

JD saws the pod open and sure enough, Marcus falls out.

JD: (drops his Lancer) Oh, God. (flips Marcus on his back and shakes him) Dad. Come on, Dad. Dad. DAD! Dammit... come on! (starts pounding Marcus's chest-plate) Come on! Goddamn it! BREATHE DAMMIT! GET UP!

Alex: JD...

JD: DAD! GET UP! COME ON, DAD! GET UP!

Alex: (rips him up) JAMES STOP!!!

JD looks at Alex heartbroken. Alex yanks him in as JD starts to sob in his shoulder.

Alex: I'm sorry, man. I'm so sorry.

Everyone look down in sadness. Just then, Y/N looks at Marcus and sees that he starts to regurgitate orange goop.

Y/N: He's still alive!

JD: (looks and rush to his dad) Help me get his armor off!

Just as JD was about take off one of Marcus's straps, Marcus grabs his wrist as he flips on his stomach and starts violently coughing up the goop from his body. JD helps him up to his knees and he holds his now-alive father.

JD: You're okay, Dad. We got you.

Marcus breathes heavily as he coughs a few more times. Kait smiles at the two but looks down, wishing she knew where her mother was.

JD: Wow... you smell bad.

Marcus: (puts his hand on JD's shoulder) James... in that pod... I was in their network.

Del: Network? What network?

Marcus: (gestures the chamber) This! This whole goddamn hive! It's all connected. All the people they've podded. I could feel them. The Locust never died, James.

JD: (helps Marcus to his feet) Yeah. We figured that out.

Marcus: (coughs once more) Kait. Your mother...

Kait: What about my mother?

Marcus: She's alive. And she's not being treated like the others. Not podded.

Kait: Take me to her.

Kait was about to march off when Marcus stopped her.

Marcus: Wait. Your people from the village. I could feel them too, for a while. (shakes his head) They didn't make it.

JD: (steps back) Aw, dammit...

Del: (looks down) Oscar...

Alex: Uncle Gary...

Y/N: (approached Kait) Kait, I'm really-

Kait: Mourning our friends isn't gonna help my mom.

Y/N: You're right, let's go find and save her.

Marcus grabs a Lancer out of one of the moving carts.

Marcus: So... what's the plan to get topside?

JD: Uh, you're not gonna like it...
