Hey guys, this is gonna be the first Death Battle on this book. Just to clarify, this isn't the Y/N from this book. This one will be a different Y/N from an idea story in the future. 

This is similar to DVNT story created by @GrimstoneRX1300, but it's very different in many ways. You'll see why. Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy it. 

Wiz: Salem, the Queen of the Grimm and the ultimate threat of Remnant. 

Boomstick: Y/N Rose, the Demon Dragon God and Summer's only son. 

Wiz: Both of them are people who suffered loss and reborn as villains who are destined to destroy humanity. 

Boomstick: But what happens if those two clash each other to the death? He's Wiz and Boomstick! 

Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle! 

SALEM:

Wiz: Once upon a time, there stood a lonely tower that sheltered a lonely girl... named Salem. Locked away by her cruel father, she desired only one thing: Freedom.

Boomstick: Luckily, that's what she got when this knight in shining armor Ozma came to save her. And they all lived happily ever after.

Wiz: Or at least, that's how it should've been. What the world had yet to realize was that the Girl in the Tower would soon become the greatest enemy they had ever faced. And it all began...with Ozma dying from an illness. 

Boomstick: But she just couldn't let go. So when the God of Light refused to revive Ozma, she went to the God of Darkness, who did. But then the brothers got into a squabble, and ultimately Salem was cursed with immortality so that she'd learn the error of her ways. But like I said, she was stubborn for a mere mortal.

Wiz: Salem soon began to resent the gods, and thus had Humanity wage war against them. However, this would prove to be her greatest mistake yet. For the Brothers abandoned the world, shattering the moon, and destroyed all life save for her. Now, the world was but a Remnant of what it once was.

Boomstick: Damn! Dick move, Sally. Wish you let Ozzy rest now, didn't you?

Wiz: Desperate to end her eternal suffering, Salem threw herself into a pool that spawned the wicked Grimm. But instead of being destroyed, she became destruction itself. A powerful witch that would become the Mother of all Grimm. The goddess of a new world. Salem...was reborn.

Boomstick: Witch? I'd say she's a goddess for a damn good reason! Her immortality allows her to survive basically anything, such as this castle explosion and this huge Monstra blowing up! Not even an Atlesian bomb can get rid of her!

Wiz: Due to her immortality, Salem does not bother to defend herself from attacks, focusing purely on the offensive. She also has an incredibly high resistance to pain, able to keep going even when dealt lethal blows. And due to being of the first wave of Humanity, Salem possesses Magic.

Boomstick; She's got energy blasts, lightning, fire, telekinesis, flight, super strength, clairvoyance, smoke manipulation, tornado summoning, and she ain't restricted in movement when regenerating! Also, she may or may not have killed Ruby's mom...

Wiz: Salem is capable of controlling Grimm, and even transforming them! And she has the abilities of every Grimm out there, such as summoning Shadow Hands. And she can easily fool her opponents with astral projection.

Boomstick: But since silver eyes are basically a Grimm's bane, she's got a failsafe for that in the form of the Hound, which is basically a sentient Super-Grimm.

Wiz: Salem is also a master manipulator, having many join her cause to gather the four Relics to have the Brothers return to destroy the world, playing them all like pawns. However, it would seem that the only one that hasn't caught onto this would be her most loyal follower, Cinder Fall.

Boomstick: If she still stuck with Salem even AFTER finding out, I wouldn't be surprised...

Wiz: Yet Ozma was reincarnated time and time again, such as an academy headmaster Ozpin to a young boy called Oscar Pine. But resistance could only be not futile for so long...

Boomstick: Yeah, after the disaster that was Volume 8, Salem's got two of the four now. That just leaves two left, and hope seems bleak.

Wiz: It seems assured that Remnant's destruction is all but inevitable. But still, the story has not yet finished. Which means that, even in the darkest of times, hope still burns bright. They must return home...before all is truly lost.

Boomstick: But one thing remains clear: You'll need some real stupid amounts of courage to ever take on the Grimm Queen.

As an astral projection, Salem lets out a banshee scream at Team RWBY before lunging at them.

Y/N ROSE: 

Wiz: Summer Rose was the leader of Team STRQ and the mother Ruby Rose. She was having a peaceful life with her family, even with her friends, Dante, Lightning, Richard, Lady, and Trish. 

Boomstick: Until one night, she decided to leave her family and went out to an unknown mission with Raven Branwen. Jeez, and I thought Raven was the only one. 

Wiz: Though Summer is presumed to be dead, a new child was born from her. One that became the embodiment of destruction, tyranny, and evil. His name is Y/N Rose. 

Boomstick: While on the book we're on involves a Y/N Rose who was adopted by the Rose family and can wield the powers of Sparda, Bayonetta, and Kratos, this one we're mainly focused on very different. 

Wiz: Right. This Y/N is the complete opposite of the one we all know. He is a monster so cruel, so callous, so... evil, that the universe itself trembles at his approach. 

Boomstick: Really? I don't see anything about him besides his human appearance with similar appearance to Ruby and Summer. Silver eyes, black hair with red tips, and- 

We see Raven being impaled by Y/N's hand through her stomach, Watts' head getting crushed into nothing, and Y/N in his dragon form unleashing a firing breath that burns people alive. 

Boomstick: ...genocide. Oh... awesome... And he's laughing. Cool. 

Wiz: Y/N's diminutive stature and faux gentility were intentionally deceptive and rooted in a surprising place. His design was meant to evoke... real-estate speculators. Series mangaka Akira Toriyama has described such speculators as, "the worst sort of people". Yes, really.

Boomstick: I guess you could say Y/N is... more than meets the eye. Ah wait, shit! Wrong theme.

Wiz: Much about him is unknown, but Y/N is consider to be one of the strongest beings who are compatible to the gods. 

Boomstick: He wants to kill all humans and Faunus in Remnant not because he hates them, but simply because he's judged them to be inferior, foolish races that only exists to hate and kill each other, and has no place in his designs for the world. 

Wiz: Right, Y/N has developed an unflattering opinion of the human and Faunus races and wants to destroy them all. 

Boomstick: As far as humans, Faunus, or half-breeds go, Y/N is the most powerful one in this RWBY universe, far eclipsing any demons, angels, or gods. 

Wiz: Y/N is powerful enough to form alliances to people who seem worthy, and even created an army for himself. With his space ship called the Edens One and his army at his beck and call, Y/N would cross the universe conquering worlds one by one, and selling them to the highest bidder, just like real-estate speculators!

Boomstick: And if anyone objected, he'd just kill them, their entire family, and everyone they ever knew. Just like real-estate speculators! While he usually lets his minions do his dirty work for him, Y/N's not afraid to throw down himself, especially if a bunch of teenager huntsmen and huntresses start gettin' too uppity for their own good.

Wiz: Y/N can wield Satan Gravity, which allows him manipulate the gravity of himself, objects, or even people. 

Boomstick: He can use to fly through space, make his attack heavier, "dropping" people towards and splattering them on the ceiling, and completely immobilize enemies charging towards him. 

Wiz: His gravity powers are so destructive that an entire kingdom breaks apart and crumbles with a simple flick of Y/N's wrist, and the surrounding landscape continues to split and distort while he's leaving. 

Boomstick: He can also use his Gravity Drain which lets him siphon other people's powers into himself with his gravitational pull, allowing him to steal any power they may have.

Wiz: He's fast enough to perform a flash step on his opponents thanks to Cat Leaper, a power that allows him to not only travel through time, but also rewinds time and undoes whatever damage he sustains. 

Boomstick: And he's got Wormhole, which lets him create portals to just about any other location, even to other worlds. That's how he got to the Ever-After to meet Team RWBY, DVANT, and Jaune. 

Wiz: Let's not forget about his Protection Matrix, a barrier formed as a wall of hexagonal panels. 

Boomstick: Now, it might seem like a huge flaw that lets enemy combatants inside, but that's only until you realize it won't let them back out again. That's when the panic part comes in; Y/N's not trapped in there with you. You're trapped in there with him.

Wiz: He can also possess magic during his time in Earthland, which different from the magic in Remnant. He can requip into different sets of armor, use enchantments, and even wield the power of a Dragon Slayer. 

Boomstick: His Dragon Slayer Magic allows him to wield multiple elements and can consume other elements to replenish his magic if he's run out. He's got fire, water, earth, wind, ice, lightning, sage, iron, poison, wood, white, shadow, gold, diamond, moon, and Ankhseram Black Dragon. A curse that makes them immortal and kills everything it touches. 

Wiz: He can even transformed into a dragon like Acnologia and Irene and became one of the Dragon Gods, a group of originally seven tremendously powerful dragons that each stated to rival the might of the Black Dragon of the Apocalypse. 

Boomstick: But other than his dragon transformation, he can also go into Overdrive. A powerful form which allows him to use the full extent of his powers. 

Wiz: Y/N, despite being all powerful, Y/N does have some weaknesses. He can suffer from motion sickness as a result of his Dragon Slayer Magic, which causes him to become severely nauseous while riding transportation. 

Boomstick: An EMP will temporarily disables him along with his Ether Gear powers and leave him vulnerable. And he cannot eat the magic created from his own Dragon Slayer Magic to replenish his stamina. 

Wiz: But no matter who is opponent is or how strong they are, Y/N will do whatever he takes to destroy the humans and Faunus of Remnant. 

Y/N: You asked me who I am. Ruby. I am the will of the universe.

DEATH BATTLE:

Wiz: Alright, the combatants are set! And we've run the data through all possibilities! Let's end this debate once and for all!

Boomstick: It's time for a DEATH BATTLE!

The scenes starts as a portal appeared as Y/N arrive at Remnant, overlooking Atlas and Mantle waging war with each other. Shouting can be heard. 

Y/N: Tch. It's always the same. Humans fighting each other, it disgusts me. 

Y/N unleashed a giant fireball at Atlas, making the floating city explode in a violent display. He notices Mantle cheering, so he uses Satan Gravity to send Atlas crashing down onto Mantle, killing even MORE people. 

Y/N: Hmph. How pitiful.

Suddenly, a storm brews in the black clouds before him.

Y/N: Hmm? 

A black tornado soon forms, and Salem soon emerges.

Salem: You...you killed Ozma...you destroyed the Relic of Creation! 

Y/N: And yet you come to repent for your sins, Salem. I, Y/N Rose, son of Summer Rose, claim this world as my own. Cheer for me or face annihilation.

Salem: Son of Summer Rose? You'll find the hard way that I am no mere human... 

Y/N: (smirk) We'll see about that. 

DB Announcer: Fight!

Salem fires lightning at  but he isn't even fazed. She gasps, and Y/N chuckles. He raised his hand and creates a large bolt of lightning and sends it Salem, disintegrating her.

Y/N: How utterly foolish.

Suddenly, Salem reforms instantly.

Salem: It's hopeless. I have been cursed with immortality by the God of Light...

Y/N: Pity, I'll just have to keep on destroying you until there's nothing left! 

He charges and strikes, but Salem blocks a punch. Y/N continues with rapid strikes before the two begin flying about, trading melee and energy blows. Salem manages to knock Y/N to the ground, then commands the nearby Grimm to attack. 

Irritated, he begins to battle the Grimm. He uppercuts a Beowolf's head off, impales a Boarbatusk with an iron sword, crushes a Nevermore with his gravity, unleashes a tornado at a Leviathan, and catches the Hound, choking it as it reaches for him.

He then blasts it full force with a magical beam from his Wood Dragon Slayer Magic, it screams before disintegrating. However, Shadow Hands begin to restrain him. 

Salem: (smirk while attacking Y/N) What's wrong? Is your human body too slow to keep up? 

Suddenly, Salem collides her head with the inner wall of the Protection Matrix as Y/N seals them both inside it. 

Y/N: My wits should more than suffice, you wretched wicked! 

Y/N uses his fire, melting the Shadow Hands. He then dashes toward Salem before he clubs her hard enough to send her flying out of the Matrix surface with another big explosion.

Salem stands back up, shrugs off the hit with an indifferent crack of her neck, and unleashes dark energy beams at Y/N. He blocks it with a water barrier before he covers his arm with rocks, forming a massive fist made of earth to deliver a megaton punch at Salem. 

As he lands on the ground, suddenly, the ground begins to crack underneath him, and Salem has a Grimm river consume him to hold him back. Salem prepares a massive energy blast, but Y/N burst 

Y/N: Sage Dragon Roar!

Y/N unleashes a blast of flames from his mouth and Salem lets out a banshee scream as she fires. The energies suddenly slam together and clash fiercely before it caused an explosion as Salem is suddenly vaporized. However, she still reforms.

He charges forward, but this reveals to be an astral projection as Salem fades when he tries to chop her head off.

Y/N: What?! 

He stops and looks around, before seeing the real Salem throws down a massive fireball. The fireball slams into the ground.

Salem: Hahahahahahahaha-WHAT?!

When the fire fades, Y/N is gone.

Salem: Where did he go? 

Suddenly, Salem heard a growl behind her as she turned and saw Y/N in his Dragon form. 

Y/N roars before he unleashed his breath attack of dark energy at Salem.

Salem gets blasted before she flies toward Y/N as they continue clashing and flying through the planet, their battle having catastrophic consequences. Various locations like Haven Academy, Mistral, Vale, Argus, Beacon Academy, Shade Academy, Vacuo, Anima, and even Menagerie are completely obliterated, with NO survivors.

Eventually, the battle reaches the Land of Darkness, with Salem being knocked down into the ground. She slams into the remains of Evernight Castle before her Magic explodes.

Salem: I HATE YOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Her banshee scream sends millions of Grimm at Y/N, but he obliterates them all with his fire dragon breath. Y/N turns back into his human form as Salem flies at him, but Y/N grabs her face with his mutated arm before slamming her against a rock wall and running, dragging her across it. He then begins to slam her on the ground multiple times, similar to one of Broly's moves. He then tries choking Salem, who only smirks.

Suddenly, she vanishes, having been another astral projection. Y/N sees the real Salem use her telekinesis to throw down the entire moon. Using his Cat Leaper, Y/N dodges the fragments and fires a Gold Dragon Flash as the beam slams against the moon, but the moon continues to fall. Y/N yells, pushing the beam so that it pierces the moon, then making it explode. 

Salem tries to dodge, but her entire right side is caught in the blast. She screams as it is vaporized, and she sends all remaining Grimm at Y/N to buy her time to regenerate. Y/N instantly eradicates them all, but it's enough time for Salem to regenerate.

Both then scream in rage as they fly at each other, colliding in a powerful blast of Magic. Y/N begins to overpower Salem, but each and every time he lands a killing blow, Salem's immortality just allows her to reform.

Salem: Don't you get it? As long as I'm immortal, I can't be- 

Y/N: Shut up! 

Y/N releases a destructive gust of wind from his mouth that is presumably quite lethal in force. She fires down a blast of all of her magic. The struggle begins again, but this time, Salem is able to push forward with all of her rage as she screams.

He seems to be completely vaporized by the frenzy and fury of the magical blast. Salem is seen gasping and panting. She then looks at herself.

Salem: Now...I have...nothing...

Suddenly, she hears something. Laughter. When she looks at the crater, she widen her eyes in shock to see Y/N is still alive and has entered his Overdrive. 

Y/N: Hahahahahaha... Behold, the might Salem. The so-called queen of the Grimm, ruler of a dying planet. My planet. Where is your army? Where are your minions? So powerful, and yet you will wander the depths of space for eternity, all because of me! What a fool.

Salem: What? No...this is...impossible! Who... WHO ARE YOU?!?!?!?!

Salem begins firing out all of her magic all around her in a mad frenzy while screaming, but none of it didn't faze him. Suddenly, his hand pierced through Salem's stomach as she cough black blood from her mouth. 

Salem (crying): IMPOSSIBLE! IMPOSSIBLE!!!! 

Y/N: Die a fool's death! Ankhseram Black Dragon Damnation! 

Suddenly, Salem screams in agony as her body is completely vaporized, without being able to regenerate from the attack. 

Y/N: (exits his Overdrive) Finally, a world full of peace without any humans, Faunus, or Grimm.

RESULTS:

DB Announcer: KO!

Boomstick: Soooo....now that Remnant's kinda gone, where do you think Y/N's headed for next? Hopefully not here...

Wiz: This was a pretty close match. Death Battles can get pretty tricky when neither combatant can die. Salem's Grimm summoning and immortality may have netted her a win in some scenarios, but Y/N's overwhelming power gave him a clear edge.

Boomstick: Salem was able defeat Ozpin who was granted the gift of reincarnation from the God of Light. And should would've done the same to Y/N. 

Wiz: And that was a real possibility. Salam is a master tactician and manipulator that convinced others to join her along with her knowledge of magic. Y/N, on the other hand, has always relied on his raw power and intimidation to win fights.

Boomstick: When things don't go his way, he has a tendency to... freak out.

Wiz: However, Y/N has survived getting most of his body taken damaged, losing body points, or even obliterated and kept going.

Boomstick: Which meant the Grimm and her magic wasn't a surefire win. She would have to get in close and destroy him, and Y/N was way too fast for that. 

Wiz: While Ruby's semblance made her fast enough to move in petals, Y/N's Cat Leaper made him much faster than her. 

Boomstick: Add to his Dragon Slayer Magic, enchantments, and forcefields had more than enough ways to avoid, defend, or survive Salem's magic. 

Wiz: While Salem fought Hazel who was empowered by some many dust into his body and survived large explosions, Y/N's Dragon and Overdrive forms were just too much for her, considering that both could rival or surpass Acnologia who absorbed the energy from the Rift in Time. 

Boomstick: And Salem's immortality was tied to Remnant's lifespan, so the only way to get rid of her for good was for him to either used his Ankhseram Black Dragon or just simply crush the entire planet with his gravity. 

Wiz: Salem was undoubtedly the strongest being on Remnant with her powerful magic and immortality, but Y/N's power, speed, and sheer survivability allowed him to crush the Grimm queen underfoot.

Boomstick: Salem sure met her Grimm demise in this battle!

Wiz: The winner is Y/N Rose. 

Well, that's it. I hope you guys enjoyed the first death battle. And like I said, this Y/N is different from a future story idea of mine.
