Today's the first day of the three weeks long computer training. I don't know why but I was feeling low since yesterday evening so I phoned Mom in the morning and talked to her.

Oh, moms always help you lessen your burden and relax, don't they?
Well about my dad, I get so emotional when it comes to him.... He's always looked upon me as a true princess.... I know he loves me the most and so do I. Oh, I can cry so easily when I'm far from him!

Not as usual, we sat in our respective team class. I couldn't let go the seat next to Christi so I sat on the desk chair next to her in the computer lab. Also, I was missing rest of my new friends or better say my close friends, a lot!

At the beginning students' attendance was taken to ensure everyone sat along with their respective teammates only.

So, they told we had five professors, one for each task, who'd attend all four groups periodically.

"Morning Jenny!"

"Morning Christi."

"I called you last night but you didn't answer." Christi raised her eyebrows.

"Oh, sorry I went to sleep early yesterday. I wasn't really feeling good. Why? Anything important?"

"Oh, nothing important, just like that. Anyways, are you okay now?" she asked with great concern.

"Yeah, I'm absolutely fine." I lied. I was wishing to see Adrian, I knew he'd make me feel better and that it was possible only after these stupid classes!

I was surprised to see Prof. McLaren come in and begin to introduce us to the topic, 'Graphics'! I never knew he taught computing! I thought they'd appoint some external coaches for the classes.

Christi and I shared a surprising look!

I was wondering what class rest of my friends would be having.... and also that Alex'd be enjoying all this so much!

Professor began teaching. "Firstly, in graphics, let me tell y'all what topics we'll be covering. They are as follows: user interface design, computer animation, vector graphics, 3D modeling, shaders, image processing and done. So let's study in detail now.... Blah blah blah..."

His black shirt with orange stripes was aching my eyes. The computer screen was already eating me up! Still, I helped myself somehow and concentrated (cause I didn't wish to fail at all) until the bell rang an hour later.

"Only this much for today and do the homework I've given. See y'all in next lecture!" He said and left.

Oh, teachers always think they've taught 'only this much' whereas in reality it's 'too much', don't they?

I took a deep breath and stretched myself in the chair. Just then suddenly my legs left the surface and got lifted-up above the floor in air. I completely lost my balance and was about to collapse when suddenly Christi held my hand firmly and prevented me from hitting the floor!

I was startled!! What a scene!!

"Jenny, are you alright?!!" She asked horribly!

"Yeah! I'm fine, Christi!" I said regaining my poise.

And then we stared each other and laughed histerically! Thank God, the others were too busy in their ownselves and didn't mind us laugh like that, only to think we were maniacs!!

"I'm fed up within this much Jenny" Christi complained a minute later.

"Me too, girl!"

"We shut up as soon as another professor come in. She introduced herself as Prof. Evelyn Grylls. She was in her early 40s and looked good in that brown skirt with silver buttoned shirt along with spectacles of thin frame. She had the face of a true professor!

She wrote on the whiteboard...

'Accounts'

I like accounts! It's so easy!" I said with a broad smile.

"Really Jenny, it's sad for me that I ain't great at this too!" her face fell.

"Don't worry, I'm there for you!" We both smiled.

We missed the subject introduction. Prof. Grylls continued, "We shall begin with the first topic 'Assets and Liabilities'. So basically, the topic is concerned with..."

Everyone in the class listened her attentively; noted and followed her wherever required. She was so great that she reminded me of my favourite school teacher, Sir Shyam. Oh, I miss him so much!

"... it is used only while referring...?" She questioned the class.

"Balance sheet!" The class answered in unison.

"... for tomorrow no work, just revise all I taught today. Thank you everyone." She collected her books and left.

"Jenny, I need your accounts book to write the notes. She was so fast... I couldn't note down everything...."

"Okay, Christi but see that you bring it back tomorrow." I handed her my notebook.

"Of course, I will."

It was lunch break and we all gathered in the canteen as decided.

"So, we first had graphics and then accounts lecture. Both weren't that boring but we were like going mad in the first one! Right, Jenny?" Christi said pointing a finger at me and then put some chips in her mouth.

"Well not so right Christi, I kinda enjoyed it."
She furrowed her brows at me.

Then, Angel spoke, "I too kinda liked it. Accounts and Tracing were not that difficult for me. But the only thing was... I couldn't match up with the professor. He was quite fast... and... writing that 'instruction list' to trace some crap was totally out of my mind!" She shook her hands.

"You know, the professor even scolded me a bit for being slow-handed." She gruffed with her head down.

"Come on, Angel! I'm there to help you out!" She smiled at Alex for those words. He took on.

"My day was just like boom...." Oh, his spirits were high!

"I had first hacking which was followed by data analytics, both were amazing!! I was so steady at it... professor himself praised me!"

He ended saying with a face of excitement painted on every corner of it!

"Well, I wonder Alex, how're you so good and steady at all this hacking work?" Jack asked with astonishment in his voice. Well, it was all our question!

"Actually, I never told you all before that... I've already learnt computer skills for years in childhood. I had great interest in it. My dad said I was remarkable at it!" He smiled with a glint of pride in his eyes.

"You are remarkable, Alex!" Angel commented with sparkling eyes now that stared him. He chuckled in return!

"Ahem.." Jack crashed it all!

"Now here I begin my part, guys. As Angel mentioned before, we had first Accounts and then Tracing. They were as interesting as a video game!"

"Really? Bad comparison Jack!" Angel teased.

"Oh, come on!" He rolled his eyes.

"Yeah so... lots of numbers and use of brain it was, still I enjoyed...

"Hey guys, did y'all remember that Tom Carter is also in my group?!" Alex interrupted in a raised voice.

"Bro, let me finish!" Jack plead but Christi shut him up.

"Yeah, but why, What happened?" I asked.

"Tell quickly! Did he die?!" Christi asked as if she prayed daily for something like that to happen to him!

Everyone turned at her and stared in disbelief!

"What the hell Christina!!!" I scolded her quite loudly, "... never say anything like that again!" and warned.

"Sorry!" she said in a cute voice that melted me.

"Haha, no he didn't die Christi. But guys you won't believe! He stuck chewing gum on the professor's chair in the second class! Alex completed narrating the incident with that.

"Not again. What a cheapster!" Christi exclaimed.

"Exactly, Christi!" I agreed.

"I think he has an old strong bonding with chewing gums!" Jack broke into a laugh.

"Really! Who does that!" Angel nodded.

"No!!!! I meant sticking a chewing gum is such a cheap and common prank! I thought he'd do something big... like slapping the professor... or... throwing a fake snake at him... or at least go and..."

"Stop it Christina! I cut her in and stared again at her in amusement. If I wouldn't have stopped her, no doubt she'd go on and on for hours!

"You're unbelievable! You're such a joker! You're great Christi... I love you." Jack blabbered and broke into a horrible laugh!

What he said in the end made her blush crimson!

And then we all joined him and laughed hysterically at her silly words! Nevertheless, it wasn't really her joke. She just said it disgracing Tom.

Just then, out of nowhere, I realized Adrian was missing! I got so engrossed in Alex's excitement and Christi's silly jokes that I almost forgot!

The thing started eating me up. Where was Adrian! Why didn't he come to meet me... I mean us, at the lunch break! I wanted to see him since morning. Where was he?!!
