(Natsu's POV)

"That was a Z-move, right?" I asked Kiawe and he nodded, then the others came over to us.

"Z-moves are special moves passed down in the Alola Region. Alola consists of four islands and each of them has its own guardian pokemon. Only those who participate in a ceremony called the island challenge are able to use Z-moves." proffesor Kukui explained to me.

"That's so cool!" I said in amazement, then I sent Nightwalker back in their pokeball.

Then proffesor Kukui did his arms around me and Kiawe.

"Now that was a real Mega Punch level battle!" he complimented us.

"Say, Natsu, you seem to enjoy a good battle." Kukui said to me and I nodded.

A berrie fell on my head and I looked up to see a yellow pokemon with an orange crest on its head.

'I never saw this kind of pokemon. Who kind of pokemon is my mate?' I thought confused.

"Who's that pokemon?" I asked.

"Huh?" proffesor Kukui said confused.

"Pokemon?" asked Sophocles confused.

"But where?" Lana asked me and she was confused like the others.

"I don't see anything." Mallow said while she searched for the pokemon.

"It was just there! It was a yellow, about this big, with an orange crest on its head!" I described the pokemon for the others.

"That sounds like-" proffesor Kukui said, but he didn't finish his sectence.

"-Tapu Koko." Kiawe finished proffesor Kukui's sectence.

"You saw Tapu Koko, Guardian of Melemele Island?" Lillie asked curiously.

Timeskip

(Third POV)

It was evening when Natsu decided to explore the island because she was bored.

She was now on the beach, shw was just watching the waves and she was thinking about who she truly was before she lost all of her memory.

She smelled a scent (Tapu Koko) and she looked up to see Tapu Koko flying there, then he started to fly away so she decided to follow him.

She started to climb up the stairs and when shw reached the top of the stairs she saw Tapu Koko there, the Guardian of Melemele Island, waiting for her.

"The Spirit Guardian. That's Tapu Koko." she muttered to herself.

"Why do you keep coming to me?" she asked Tapu Koko while she walked over to him.

'...Being one of my mates is obviously not the only reason that he wanted me to follow him.' Natsu thought and she was very curious what the real reason was that he wanted her to follow him.

"Is there something you want to say?" she asked him, then a Z-ring started to flow to her.

"Is that a Z-ring?" she muttered to herself.

"That's correct." Tapu Koko said and Natsu it startled when he talked.

"How?..." she asked shocked.

"You can talk telepathic to your mates who are pokemon so you can understand each other." he explained.

"Do you understand what I'm trying to explain to you?" he asked and she nodded that she understand.

When she did the Z-ring on her left wrist it started to glow a bright light and Tapu Koko flew off when the Z-ring stopped with glowing.

"Hey!" Natsu shouted, but he was already gone.
