Jenny's POV
~~~~~~~~~~~
I climbed from underneath my comfy covers. Walked to the bathroom to take a shower. When I was done with my shower I washed my face and brushed my teeth. I combed my long brown wavy hair, and headed back to my room. I opened my closet and found a pair of jeans and a fitted shirt.
"I wonder is Molly up", I thought.
I walked down the hall and headed to her room. I bet she's still sleeping. She's got a habit of sleeping late if I don't wake her.
"Molly honey", I called out. No answer.
"She must be already downstairs", I said to myself. Boy was I shocked.
I headed in the kitchen. Still no Molly.
"Molly honey where are you", I called out again.
Still no response.
"Molly you better not be playing no games with me", I said this time angrily.
I marched back up to her room. Hmmmm. Everything seems in tack. Nothing's out of place. I checked to see was she in her bathroom. Still no sign of Molly. Her phone was laying on her dresser, so she couldn't be that far. She doesn't go anywhere without her phone.
"Molly please answer me", I yelled panicking.
I ran all around the house and she was still nowhere to be found. I ran past the door and stopped. Hold up why is the door unlock. I started fearing the worse. I quickly took my phone out and called the police.
"911 how may I help you", the dispatcher said.
"Hello I'm trying to report a missing person", I said.
"Ma'am who is missing", the women said.
"My daughter", I yelled.
"How old is she ma'am calm down".
"She's sixteen please send a police hurry ", I said breathing hard.
"Ma'am I will you have to calm down". "How long has she been missing".
"I'll don't know I woke up and she was nowhere to be found, but the door was unlock".
"I'm sending an officer now ma'am".
A couple minutes later two police cars arrived at my house.
"Ma'am what's the problem ", the male officer said.
"My daughter is missing ", I said shaking.
"Ma'am calm down", the other officer said.
"When I woke up she was nowhere in the house and the door was unlocked".
"How old is your daughter ma'am", the officer said.
"Sixteen".
"Ma'am the only thing we can do is report her as a runaway. She is a teenager that's what most teens do", he explained.
"She couldn't have ran away because she left her phone and none of her clothes are missing", I told the officer.
"Ma'am that's all we can do if she doesn't come back within 48 hours contact the police department again then we can file her as a missing person".
With that last statement they left. I know Molly more than anybody I know she didn't run away. The police is a bunch of bull. My poor baby could be somewhere dead by now for all we know.
"Molly baby I will find you", I said out loud.
