Head pounding. Ears ringing. What happened...? Slowly the pain subsides and and you feel the cool weight of blankets over you. As you open your eyes, sunlight streams through a window above the bed you were in as you stretch and take in a deep breath of air.

And then suddenly it hits you

This isn't your bed. And this isn't your room

"Oh you're finally awake." A person in the room says, sitting at the end of the bed, "don't be alarmed. But you're dead." A smile spreads onto their face, "and I'm your Exceed. I'm in charge of you. I make your schedule and your rules. So you have to listen to me." They continue. "Here. This'll explain how things work." They toss a thick book to you and you look down at it. The cover says "The Neighborhood Handbook". "And you'll need this too." They toss another book. This one says "The Friend book."

"Ok. I have to go check on my other lowers. I'll be back in and few hours." The 'Exceed' says as they get up and walk out, leaving you alone with the two books. You open them and start to read.

Q: Am I (for better words) up or down?
A: You are in an in between state. Your life was probably moderate. So it was hard for you to be chosen for the good place or the bad place.

Q: How do I get out of this situation?
A: Every resident of this Neighborhood has a 'Friend Book'. In this friend book is the name of all of the people here ((the cap in each neighborhood is about 100. But it changes as people leave and come)) To get to the good place you must become friends with every person in your neighborhood. When you become friends with them, and when the neighborhood deems that you've become their friend, it will show in your friend book under their information. If you run out of time ((determined by your life before you died. Mostly it turns out to be a few years)) then sadly you will have to go to the bad place.

Q: What is an Exceed?
A: An exceed is your guardian. They determine your schedule and the rules for how you live. You must listen to them, or they do have the right to punish you in any way they see fit. Keep in mind, Exceeds have multiple lowers, so they may be busy from time to time.

Q: What are the factions and how do I know which one I'm in/why am I there?
A: The factions are based off the seven sins: Wrath, Envy, Greed, Lust, Pride, Gluttony, and Sloth. These are determined by how you lived your life. You can see what your Faction is on your Friend book Profile!
