(POV: OSCAR)

For years, I've been nothing but loyal.

For years, I've done everything I could to make them proud.

For years, I tried everything I can to make them accept me.

Now? Now I see it's been nothing but wasted time and energy.

Sigh I guess I should start at the beginning:

I'm Oscar, a shared pawn of Rias Gremory & Sona Sitri. I joined them when I laid down my life to protect the orphanage I grew up in from the wrath of Stray Devils.

I was found by Sirzechs Gremory & Serafall Sitri, who used an experimental Shared Pawn Peerage Piece to revive me as a Devil. I sought to prove myself, not only of my new position, but also to the families.

I gave them everything I could offer to them: my skills, my talents, my friendship. But they took it for granted and kept on taking, until I was empty.

Of course, I did have a few good people in the Supernatural world on my side: Zeoticus, Venelana, Millicas, Shun Sitri, Suki Sitri & the Phenex Family.

But things went from bad to worse when the two bastards came: Issei Hyoudou & Saji Genshirou. Instantly, they became heroes within the eyes of most of the Supernatural world because of their Sacred Gears.

When in reality, I did the majority of the heavy lifting, despite me not having any magic nor Sacred Gear. But those two always stole the credit for themselves.

Not to mention they're unbelievable pervs & arrogant assholes. But whenever I tried to correct them or try to fix their personalities, Rias, Sona & the peerages always scolds me and punish me by performing additional chores & contracts.

It was because of this that I missed out on getting a Familiar myself. I couldn't even get one anymore because of my Shared Pawn status, due to the rules and such.

(A/n: I don't actually know about the Familiar rules of DXD, so any correction/tips would be appreciated)

Things went from bad to worse with the different factions we've met: Angels, Fallen Angels, Yokais, Greeks & Norses all adore them and worship them like heroes. They got it all easily while I worked hard & got nothing.

But I held my tongue because I neither had the proof nor the power to do anything about it, except hope they realize the truth.

But even that was hopeful thinking.

(SCENE: GREMORY ESTATE)

I had just been discharged after the battle with Rizevim. And yes, you guessed it, Issei & Saji stole my credit again. I head back to the Gremory Estate, to regroup with the others.

When I entered the Estate, I was met with Zeoticus, Venelana, Millicas, Shun Sitri, Suki Sitri & the Phenex Family. "Hey guys." I politely said to them. "Big Brother!" Millicas exclaimed as he ran up and hugged me.

I chuckled softly as I hugged him back. "Hey, Little Red." I said to him as I turned my attention back to the adults. "So, where are the others? We need to strategize about what to do next, since Rizevim is now dead." I said.

"They're with the other leaders, along with Vali & his team." Venelana says. I nod at this. "Thanks, Mom." I said as I gently pulled Millicas off of me.

Yes; I call Venelana Mom. I also call Zeoticus Dad, Shun Uncle & Suki Auntie. As for Millicas? I either call him Little Red or Little Brother. While most of their families & clans see me as either a burden or a disappointment, they see me as one of their own.

I head off to find them. I wondered a bit until I heard them talking. I was about to enter when I they said something that caught my ear.

'Issei, Saji & Vali. On behalf of the Supernatural world, we have decided, to make you three, not only the new Pillars of the Supernatural World, but also the Champions of the Greeks, Norses & Hindu Pantheons!'

I was stunned at this. Them? The figure heads of, practically, every part of the Supernatural World? That's practically BEGGING for an apocalypse to happen!

But what I heard next, filled me with unbelievable rage.

'We accept! Under one condition. Oscar must be removed from the Peerages and be made our servant!'

WHAT THE ABSOLUTE FUCK?!?!?!?!?!?

And guess what!?!? They all agreed!!! All the while, they laugh at me & mocked me, insulting me. Even Rias, Sona & their Peerages got in on it, revealing that they knew about my crushes on them and said how it made me their perfect lapdog who would do anything for them.

All I can feel now is rage, betrayal & heartbreak.

With extreme quietness & unfathomable rage, I whispered to them from behind the door:

I then quietly & carefully walked away.

When I returned to the others, they saw me filled with rage, betrayal & heartbreak. Zeoticus & Venelana looked at me with most horror. "Son, what happened?" Zeoticus asked with worry.

I was confused at this. Ravel handed me a mirror. I looked inside, to see that my heterochromatic eyes of red & blue have changed to green & orange. I was stunned at this.

I shook out of my daze as I explained everything to them. When I finished, they were all crossed & angry at this. Zeoticus, Venelana & Millicas gave me comforting hugs while Riser, his family & his Peerage  gave me words of comfort and encouragement.

When I've calmed down, I nudged them all back. "Thank you. All of you. Though I have vowed to never again serve the Supernatural world ever again, you all are the exceptions. I will always help any of you, should you need it." I said.

"We understand, kid. Though, you might need this." Shun said as he handed me both a necklace & a small scroll. "That necklace will shield you from the rest of the Supernatural world & the scroll contains all of your possessions. We even decided to throw in a considerable amounts of money from each of our clans, as compensation from our kind's heartless actions against you." He explains.

I smiled at this. "Thank you, Uncle." I said as I turned to everyone present. "And thank you all." I added as I soon adopted a sad expression. "But it's time for me to leave. I don't know for how long. But know this: our paths will cross again. And let the trails lead where they may, I will follow." I explained as I put on the necklace and raced out of the Gremory Estate.

Zeoticus & Venelana comfort a saddened Millicas, Shun wrapped his arm around Suki and held her closely & the Phenex Family vowed to themselves to help Oscar's orphanage by buying it and moving it to their territory.

(Here is the prologue. Sorry if it feels a bit off. I've been sending a bit too much time on AI Chat, so my story sculpting skills are a bit dulled & out of practice.

Also, I've been thinking about giving Oscar a Sacred Gear or two. Didn't do it at first, since who needs a Sacred Gear when you're the descendant of

Anywho, I'll probably work on the next chapter soon or some other time, idk. I tried planning out my chapters, but it started to fall apart, so I'm gonna try to wing it like I use to do in the past.)
