(SCENE: BATTLEFIELD) (POV: 3RD PERSON)

Oscar and Riser slid back from the force of their attacks.

Oscar was the quickest to recover as he fires some Necroplasm orbs at Riser. But the Pemex Heir summoned a Phenex Circle to block the Necroplasm projectiles.

He then fired multiple fireballs at Oscar. But he used his cape to deflect the fireballs as his arm was wrapped in Necroplasm enchanced chains. He then dashed towards Riser, who set up another Phenex Circle to block him.

However, Oscar merely broke through the Circle as he landed a heavy blow on Riser, sending the Heir flying back.

Riser got back up, with a bit of blood dripping down from his mouth, as he wipes the blood from his jaw. "Impressive. And to think Rias and Sona was so happy to get rid of you." He says as this peeked Oscar's interest.

"Did they now, huh?" Oscar asks. "Yeah. They called you a, and I quote, 'a Jealous, dead beat Pawn that we should've left to die'." Riser explains as Oscar cringed at this.

"Damn. And to think I once had crushes on them." He reveals with disappointment as Riser's eyes widened at this. "Shit. Sorry you had to hear this." He apologized as Oscar brushed it off.

"It's fine. Why should I let the meaningless words of two skanks effect me? Besides, their ignorance and short sightedness was their downfall. Am I right?" He asks as Riser nods in confirmation.

"True. The Academy is in complete shambles. I've never seen a horrible excuse of an Academy in all my life. And their Rating Game performance was atrocious too. I would wager it was because you weren't around to help formulate strategies." Riser explains as Oscar nods his head.

"Indeed. But the ignorance of Rias and Sona prevents them from seeing that. And the Peerages are nothing but brain dead dogs, following their every order without thinking for themselves." Oscar says.

"Couldn't agree more." Riser says as he then creates flaming daggers. "Now then, let us resume our battle." He says as he enters a combat stance.

"Of course." Oscar says as he summons both a sword and an axe to engage Riser in close quarters.

Oscar took the offensive, attacking Riser with all his might, while Riser went with the defensive tactic. As Oscar managed to land a few good strikes on Riser, the same can be said for Riser.

Deciding to change the game, Oscar secretly attach his chains to his axe. He then throws his chained axe weapon at Riser.

Riser creates a fireball from his dagger and throws it at the weapon, causing a blinding explosion to be created. Oscar took advantage of this distraction as he blindsided Riser and lands an effective blow to his stomach.

Oscar then performs a backflip kick as Riser was knocked backwards. The Phenex Heir then dissolve into flames as he left no trace, but a burnt ground. Oscar was then left alone as he looks around the battlefield, wondering what Riser's next move is.

Suddenly, before Oscar can react, Riser appears behind him and drop kicked him. Oscar then stealthily slinks his cape towards Riser's feet, with the intent to grab him.

Before Riser can dodge or act, Oscar successfully grabs him. He then starts spinning him around, like a fast merry go round, as he throws Riser through several objects until he crashed into a wall.

Riser got back up as he brushes some debris from his shoulders. "Clever and cheeky move. But now: it's time to finish this fight." He says as his coats his entire arm in Phenex Fire.

Oscar did the same, coating the arm opposite of Riser in Necroplasm. The two charged at each other as their fists clash together. They struggle to gain ground, until they passed through each other.

Dead silence follows the two. Oscar drops down on one knee, grunting in pain. Riser smiles in victory, but it quickly went away as he drops to his knees and fell down to the ground.

Oscar shakes off his pain as he helps Riser up. "Great battle." He says as Riser smiles. "Thanks. You were a great opponent to battle against." Riser says as he takes both him and Oscar back to the Wedding.

(SCENE CHANGE: WEDDING)

Once the two returns to the wedding, they were met with Sirzechs and Serafall. "Ah, glad to see you two." Sirzechs says as Oscar sets Riser down on a nearby chair.

"Yeah. Anyways, I won the fight. Which means we have much to talk about later. But for now, I must go and retrieve my Peerage." He says as he leaves to get his Peerage.

"They're outside in the Phenex's training grounds, combating against the Peerages of Rias and Sona, alongside Riser's." Lady Phenex says as she gestured for Oscar to follow her.

(POV CHANGE: OSCAR)

As I followed Lady Phenex to where my Peerage, we started a conversation. "So, you're the previous Pawn to both Lady Rias and Lady Sona?" She asks as I nod in confirmation.

"I read your track record in both Academy and Supernatural matters. And I must say: I'm very impressed at the hard work and dedication you put into your work." She says as I smiled.

"Thanks. Though my dedication and hard work was always overlooked, taken for granted and given to those arrogant and pathetic excuses of pawns." I said as Lady Phenex, though has a blank expression, is clearly shocked at this.

"Well then, had we known about this beforehand, we wouldn't have agreed to the Arranged Marriage." She says. "Eh, we all make mistakes." I bluntly say as we reached to a large door.

Lady Phenex opens the door to reveal his hardly scathed, extremely disappointing and bored Peerage, standing over the defeated Peerages of Rias and Sona.

"Hey boss." Kabal says as he and the rest of my Peerage approaches us. "Hey everyone. Let me guess: these two were disappointing weak?" I guessed as they nod in confirmation.

"Well, I beat Riser. So, we need to go and talk with both Sirzechs and Serafall." I said as me and my Peerage left to speak with both Sirzechs and Serafall.

(Here's chapter 5 done. And yeah, the outcome of the battle between Rias/Sona's Peerages against Oscar's Peerage, might've been obvious. Would the outcome changed if I watched the DXD Anime and saw their skills for myself? Probably not. Anyways, next chapter will be about Oscar's negotiation with Sirzechs and Serafall.)
