(3rd POV)

Y/n was traveling through the forest. He was still thinking about what his Grandpa has said. His hatred for the kingdom of Melromarc grew deeper.

Fu and Yu could sense their masters displeasure. They were quick to try and conform him.

Fu: Master!

Yu: Don't be sad!

Fu: We are here master there is no need to be sad!

Yu: Yea!

Y/n smiled at the girls as he pet their heads.

Y/n: Don't worry girls I'm only a little. I thought things would be different when I came to this world

The girls smiled before they ran off to search for any monsters that the swords were attracting. Y/n had told them to do so while they traveled so they can lvl up faster.

As long as the swords requirement is not met then they would always been in danger. He sighed to himself as he looked around.

The sun barely parted through the tree's leaves. Wind slightly swayed them. He thought of how at peace he would be if he was not so angry at the world.

The people here were awful, apart from a few people. The kingdom of Melromarc was as shitty and corrupt as can be.

Y/n looked at his exp gauge. He could see it slowly building as the faint sounds of dying monster could be heard. Those girls were proving to be valuable allies he was glad to have with him.

Y/n looked up again and see the sky starting to turn back to normal.

Y/n: The other must have ended the wave

He called the girls back and leaned up against a tree. He sighed as he looked through his skills and stats. He also inspected the girl's strength stat.

Fu - Strength: 17

Yu - Strength: 15

Y/n: It seems we are progressing nicely, but I don't just want us to be strong. I want us to completely overpower every enemy we face

Y/n looked at his staff. If his abilities unlocked just by trial and error, or by pure imagination, then he had endless possibilities for skills.

He would need as many as he could to bring the kingdom of Melromarc to ruins, and the manpower to do it.

Y/n's eyes widened as a light bulb just went off in his head. You could see the evil intent behind them.

Y/n: Girls do you think you can find some of the monsters you killed?

The girls nodded and ran off to find the monsters they killed. It didn't take long for them to return with a few in tow. Y/n tapped on the icon confirming the resurrection.

A mix of wolves, undead undead men, and other creatures started to twitch and move, until the were all standing in front of Y/n.

Y/n: My skills didn't say there was a time limit on my resurrection! That's just my save slots for good ones I find!

Y/n's eyes had a wicked expression. With no limit he could resurrect as many things as he wants and no one can stop him.

Y/n: Find me a dungeon, or anything will lots of monsters. I need to get as much exp as possible

The resurrected creature all growled in acknowledgement, before stumbling deeper into the forest.

Timeskip

(Y/n's POV)

If I'm going to destroy that vile kingdom, I'll need as many skills and manpower as possible. I'll have to devote myself to researching the depths of this power and grow it as I see fit.

I stood there as I slashed a monster in two. I watched as my exp filled up and realized it's still not enough. I need something that can kill multiple things at once. Single target isn't gonna cut it.

I sat down in the grass and though about how to make a new skill. What I was looking for the most was an AOE skill.

The first thing that came to mind was Flow. If I tried to project it outwards like an aura then maybe I could add some kind of damage effect to it.

Y/n: Damn! I don't have any status effects in my skills!

Something had to relate to dead things. What effect? What ailment? Come on think! THINK!

What do dead bodies do? They would decay! That's it! I need to make myself a decay skill and apply it to Flow as I push out the energy!

Y/n: How would I make a decay skill though? Maybe I don't have to. If I remember correctly the other heroes can absorb monster parts with their weapons

(3rd POV)

Y/n called for one of his undead monsters and killed it. He cut off some of its decayed flesh and put it up against the gem in his Scythe. He smiled as he saw its purple glow and the piece of flesh get absorbed by it.

A notification popped up in his view saying he had unlocked some new skills. Unlike the other classes his skills all applied to a single weapon. He didn't require other forms to use them.

Decay - A skill that lets the user apply a Decay status effect against a single target.

Minor Decay Resistance - A passive skill that give the user Minor resistance against the Decay status effect.

Y/n: So it does work! Awesome! This opens up a lot of options

Y/n then tired to mix together Decay and Flow creating a new skill.

Decay Aura - The user excerpts magic imbued with the Decay status effect. It effects all targets near the user, both friend and foe. Large amounts of mana required for extended use.

Y/n: I'll have to get the girls something that grants a totally resistance against Decay. Increasing my mana is also important

Y/n looked around for a second before activating his Undead Eye. He could see red dots pulsating not to far in front of him.

The undead minions have yet to return, and he had Fu and Yu looking for monsters to lvl up faster as well. See nothing better to do he started walking towards the dots.

After a short amount of walking Y/n soon enter another clearing in the forest. It wasn't nearly the size of the one your Grandpa was in. Just in front of Y/n, two bears sat.

They both stared at Y/n for a second before they realized Y/n was definitely not one of them.

Y/n: Yo what's up

They ignored Y/n and started to charge him. He simply sighed before he activated his new Decay Aura. He watch as the small Heath bars that appeared above them started to decrease. He had only used a small amount of mana in it, so they didn't take much damage and it didn't last long.

Y/n: If I can regen more then I use then I could practically turn this into a passive, but I would need a lot of mana pored into it to really do some damage

As they got closer, Y/n readied his scythe before he cut both the bears down. He tapped on the resurrect button, and send them out to search for enemies as well.

Y/n: This has been usefully information. It all brings me one step closer to my goals!
