Chapter 56
The next day Akina woke up around mid-afternoon. Apparently the moment she had gotten home she had passed out immediately and slept for an entire day. But thanks to the rest Akina felt better than ever.
Though the moment she saw her notifications she wished she were still asleep. Her classmates hadn't stopped bothering her for the day and a half. She had responded to a few of them and had vaguely told them everything was okay in the group chat but apparently that wasn't enough for them. She'd have a hell of a time trying to explain everything to them. Of course she'd try to leave out the other world and undercover security but at this point she didn't know what she could tell them.
As she was scrolling through her text messages, Akina's phone suddenly rung and she looked at the contact. it was Nezu. Pressing the answer button she hovered the device over her ear and answered.
"Ah, hello Miss Hayashi! I've finally made my decision on what we're going to be doing in the coming future." Nezu said.
"And what's that?"
"We're going to be implementing a dorm system. All the students will be moved onto campus, with their parent's permission of course, so UA can keep a better eye on them and keep them safe."
"A dorm system? Ah, sounds like fun! But wait, I'm undercover security and if one of the students sees me leaving the dorm at night every night then they might get suspicious."
"I've already thought that through. Your dorm will be on the top floor to allow you easy access to the roof for when you need to get out. Everything has been handled, don't worry."
"Alright, I'll trust you."
"Thank you! Now you'll be moving into the dorms within the next week, alongside the other students who had been allowed to live on campus."
"Oh, one last question. What about Laxus?"
"We've decided that it's best for him to stay at the residence you are currently living in, as he might cause issues within a dorms."
Akina let out a small sigh, "Yeah, that sounds about right. Alright, well that was my last question so I guess I'll see you when I move onto campus."
"See you then!"

The week leading up to the say the class was moving into the dorms went by fast, and soon Akina found herself walking up to where a row of new buildings were on the far side of campus. In front of the building she could already see some of her classmates gathered. Both Laxus and Choco had stayed at the house so Akina would be moving into the dorm alone.
"Oh, hey, it's Hayashi!" Hagakure called out as she saw the mage walking up to the group. The class suddenly sprung into action and they surrounded her like rabid dogs all of them asking questions at one time.
"Guys, please, I'd love to answer your questions but one at a time! I can't understand what any of you are saying!"
"Why were you at the battle? And how did you get your hero costume?" Mina asked.
"Well I snuck on, of course. It was too late into the mission for the heroes to send me away- they tried of course. As for my hero costume... I just had it on me I guess." Akina lied. Yeah, that was convincing. She thought.
"What was it like?" Hagakure asked.
"Eh, well, it's hard to explain. It was intense of course, and kinda stressful." Especially with the appearance of those Dark Wizards.
"How come you told us to leave it to the pros but you went ahead and snuck in on the rescue mission?" Ojiro asked.
"Ah, about that."
"Everyone! Let's not crowd Hayashi!" Iida shouted rushing up to them and chopping his hand through the air. "She's been through enough already, crowding her will only stress her out!"
The class looked around at each other before agreeing and spreading out a bit, allowing Akina some room to breathe. She knew the questions would come later but this allowed her a little more time to come up with answers. She let out a small sigh, "Thank you Iida."
"It's not a problem. I'm only doing what I should as an upcoming hero." Iida said.
"Alright, it looks like everyone is here." Aizawa said as he looked around at the crowd of students. "Given everything that has happened, I'm glad we were able to bring Class A back together."
"So we all got the go ahead to move on-campus." Sero said.
Hagakure let out a small sigh, "It took a lot of convincing for my parents."
"I was pretty concerned about mine." Jiro added.
"It makes sense. You got the worst of the gas attack." Ojiro said.
"We're glad to see the teachers got to come back, too. I was afraid you wouldn't be allowed. The people at the press conference seemed pretty upset with you guys." Tsuyu said as she looked up at Mr. Aizawa.
"I was surprised, as well. But circumstances have changed." Aizawa said. "Now then, I'll explain how your dorm assignments will work shortly. First, however... We haven't forgotten about the provisional hero licenses you were supposed to get during the training camp."
"Oh yeah! That's what we were there for!" Satou exclaimed.
"So much has happened, it totally slipped my mind." Mina said.
"This is important. Listen well." Aizawa continued, "Kirishima, Yaoyorozu, Todoroki, Midoriya, Iida, and Hayashi. You six are the ones who broke the rules and went to rescue Bakugo that night." When the class reacted with concern towards the mentioned students Aizawa let out a sigh. "Based on your reactions, I assume the rest of you were at least aware of their plan. I'm going to set aside a number of issues and just say this. If it weren't for All Might's retirement from the Hero scene, I would expel everyone here except Bakuogo, Hagakure, and Jiro. The six of you who went, of course, but also the remaining 12 who didn't stop them. You betrayed our trust. Even it if was to keep your friends from getting into trouble. In order to regain our confidence, you'll need to obey every rule to the letter, and live as model students. That's all." He turned towards the dorm building and started to walk towards the front entrance. "Now. Look alive. Enjoy your new home."
"Uh... we're supposed to be excited after that speech?" Sero and Kaminari asked. After what Aizawa had said a gloom had fallen over the class. Akina would be lying if she didn't feel upset as well. Even if she couldn't be expelled the despair from the other students had infected her. Beside her, Bakugo scoffed and started to walk over towards Kaminari, grabbing the boy's shirt and dragging him behind a bush.
"Uh- Huh? Wait, what are you doing?!" The blond asked. Suddenly lightning flashed from behind the bush and Akina could hear Kaminari scream. When he returned it seemed that whatever Bakugo did short-circuted him. "Yay, yay, yay, yay, yay." He repeated as he walked over towards the class.
"Dude. What'd Bakugo do to you?" Sero asked.
"Kirishima." Bakugo called and walked over towards the said redhead and held out a wad of cash. "Here."
"Woah, did you shake him down for cash?!" Kirishima shouted in shock.
"No! This is my money, you idiot. To replace what you spent."
"Uh. How'd you know I bought night vision goggles?"
Bakugo didn't respond and just shoved the cash into Kirishima's hands. "Don't say I never gave you anything."
As the explosive blond started to walk towards the dorm Akina ran up to him and patted him on the back, "Looks like you do have a nice bone somewhere in your body!" She joked.
"Hah? Shut up forest face!" Bakugo shouted, setting off a few small explosions.
"Oh, that's a new one! Anyways what you did for the class- cheering them up like that- was really nice, and paying back Kirishima too... I guess you don't entirely hate all of us."
"Like hell! I just don't like being in debt!"
"Being in debt, huh? Then are you technically indebted to me, I did risk my life to try to save you that night, Boomy." Akina mused.
Bakugo scoffed and looked away, "Shut up!"
Akina let out a small laugh, "Well, anyways, it's nice to know that you're not all 'explosions and murder'. I think I might grow to like you if you continue to show it."
"What're you saying? You falling for me?" Bakugo said, glaring down at Akina. "Well too bad because I'm not interested."
"You're delusional. I'm just saying that I've noticed you've started to change from the beginning of the year. I think you're finally becoming hero-like."
"What do you mean finally, I've always been hero like!"
Akina just laughed and started to walk faster, pulling ahead of Bakugo and opening the door to the dormitory.
Once everyone was inside, Aizawa started to tell them more about the space they would be living in. "Each student dormitory holds one class. Girls are on the right and boys are on the left. The entire first floor is a common area. That's where you'll find your kitchen, baths, and laundry rooms."
"There's even a courtyard!" Sero exclaimed.
"So spacious and new!" Mina exclaimed.
"I'm living in a mansion." Uraraka said as she looked around with a shell-shocked expression on her face.
"Doth mine ears deceive me? Our baths... are located in the common space. Is this heaven?" M*neta said.
"Try anything and I'll personally make sure you get a one way ticket to Tartarus." Akina said, giving the midget a smile as a dark aura surrounded her.
"They're separated by gender, and you'll behave yourself." Aizawa added, then turned to the rest of the class. He led them up to the second floor to show them the layout of the room they would be living in. "Living quarters start on the next floor. Four boys and four girls on each level. Everyone gets their own room. You should be comfortable. You've got your own AC, toilets, fridges, and closets."
"We have balconies?" Midoriya asked as he looked over the railing.
"This room is about the same size as my closet at home, but I'll manage." Yaoyorozu said as she looked around the room.
"It's the size of my house!" Uaraka said.
Aizawa handed out sheets of paper to the students, each sheet of paper showing which room the student will be living in. As Nezu had told her she was living on the fifth floor alongside Yaoyorozu and Tsuyu. On the other side of the floor was Satou, Todoroki, and Sero. "the belongings you sent ahead have already been placed in your new rooms, so spend the day unpacking and getting settled. I'll tell you more about your next few lessons tomorrow. For now, get to work."
"Yes, Mr. Aizawa!" The class exclaimed.
And just like that everyone spread out and started to head to their rooms. Akina headed up to the fifth floor with the rest of the students who would be living on that floor and walked to her room. It looked like the room Aizawa had just showed them but once Akina was done with it it would look completely different.
"Now, let's get to work!" Akina exclaimed.
