Chapter 54

The symbol of the assassin's guild, Death's Head Caucus.

Lily had warned her that All For One had made contact with some strong opponents, but the fact that the allies were none other Dark Wizards changed everything.

-_-_-_-_-_-_-

"More villains? Feeling like you have to bring back up, All For One? That's not like you." All Might scoffed before he sped towards one of the dark wizards.

"All Might wait!" Akina shouted out, a bit too late as she watched one of the dark wizards grin and pull out a gun, a magic circle appearing at the tip before a blast of fire rushed out of it and towards All Might. Before it could hit him Akina created some Aloevera stems and blocked the fire from making contact with him. "You can't just run in head on with these guys. Unless you want to be killed. Laxus and I will take care of them you... just focus on All For One." She looked over towards the villain, only for her eyes widen in horror.

"You're all good to go, boss man!" One of the wizards said, "Those two did a lot of damage to ya but I've fixed you right up, yep yep!"

"Your power never ceased to amaze me." All For One said, "Now, All Might, shall we continue?"

"Be careful, All Might." Akina said, turning towards the dark wizards. Looking at them, she counted thirteen dark wizards- it shouldn't be too much trouble for her and Laxus to handle.

"You ready, Laxus?" Akina asked.

"I should be asking you that." Laxus said.

Akina grinned before she created some vines, sending them flying towards five of the dark wizards. Besides her, Laxus started to spark before sending multiple bolts of lightning towards the remaining ones. Though just as their attacks were about to hit, they were dispelled and what looked like clear barriers surrounding each individual wizard shimmered in the moonlight.

"Damn it, Magic Barriers." Akina growled, retracting her vines. "It's going to be a lot harder to attack these guys. We're going to have to find who's making them."

"That's easier said than done." Laxus grumbled, "I say we just brute force through these things." Before Akina could say anything more, Laxus activated Lightning body and sped towards the wizards, flashing in and out of vision as he attacked, but each and every attack was deflected, leaving the dark wizards uninjured.

"These barriers are no joke." He huffed, returning back to Akina's side.

"That was pretty cool!" The gun-wielding wizard exclaimed with a grin. "But I think it's our turn!"

All the dark wizards sprung into action and various magical attacks were sent towards Laxus and Akina. Laxus shut straight upwards in the air using Lightning body and Akina surrounded herself in branches, wincing slightly as a flaming bullet got through and grazed her cheek.

"Hiding away like cowards. Not like I expected anything different from some fairies." One of the dark wizards taunted.

"We're not hiding!" Akina shouted, separating the branches, a magic circle appearing at her mouth, "Nature Dragon: Roar!" She casted, the beam of light swirling through the air before it made contact with a few of the wizards. She might not be able to hurt them with the barriers, but she can try to get them away from the battle field.

"Lightning Dragon: Breakdown fist!" Laxus casted, punching forwards and creating a giant fist of lightning that stretched towards the dark wizards who weren't hit by the roar and sent them flying along with the others.

"It'll take a minute for them to get back, let's see how All Might's doing-" Akina started, turning and looking over her shoulder towards the the fighting hero and villain. Though looking at the scene in front of her she couldn't help but let out a gasp.

All Might looked utterly defeated and All For One looked as if he had barely received a scratch on him, not a single speck of dirt on his face nor a wrinkle out of place.

"This other worldly power truly is something to behold, isn't it All Might. Just one person has been able to keep me in peak condition throughout this entire fight."

"Other worldly? What are you talking about?" All Might.

"You don't know? And here I thought you would take great care into knowing about your students." All For One said, raising his arm upwards and creating more of the black and red branches and shooting them straight towards All Might. "Tonight's been full of surprises for you, hasn't it? First you learn of Shigaraki's connection to your predecessor and now you're finding out about an entirely new world." The villain tilted his head and looked over at Akina, "Why don't you tell him, Rose of Fairy Tail?"

Akina froze in her spot, she had never mentioned that nickname once while in this world. The only way he could of known it is if the Dark Wizards had told him.

"You don't know what your saying. Is your age finally getting to you, old man?" All Might asked, lunging forwards and sending a powerful punch at All For One's face and sending him flying. Though just as quickly the injury appeared, a soft white glow appeared on it and it was as good as new.

"Akina, watch out!" Laxus shouted, making Akina look in front of her to see blades of wind rush straight towards her. Just before they could hit her she jumped up into the air and dodged the attack, turning her attention towards the caster- a white haired woman with tattoos swirling up her arms.

"Don't loose focus, girly!" She shouted, creating two identical tornadoes and sending straight towards Akina. "You might just get blown away!"

Akina gritted her teeth and jumped away once again, creating branches to fully surround the tornados, and though they were ripped to shreds they had successfully stopped the two. "All Might's almost down for the count, and that one wizard who can heal hasn't stopped using her magic on All For One. We have to do something fast." Akina shouted, then she gritted her teeth, "But with so many civilians and heroes nearby a big move is too risky."

"Is the little fairy too scared to attack?" The wind mage taunted, rushing winds starting to surround her arms. "Lucky us, then!" She jumped forwards, her speed boosted by two jets of air coming out of her feet. At the speeds she was going, Akina didn't have any time to get out of the way and was hit with a wind packed punch head on.

Flying back, Akina felt herself crash through at least three different buildings. Before they could fall, she created heavy-duty branches to keep them up, hopefully sparing anyone within the buildings from falling towards the ground. Before she stood up, Akina closed her eyes and placed her palms flat onto the ground.

Slowly, a map of her surrounding area appeared in her head. In the distance she could hear heroes guiding civilians away from the battle, and for the most part everyone had been evacuated and were gathered, leaving a whole section free of people.

Standing up, Akina wipied at the corner of her mouth where a blood had started to dribble down her chin, looking towards the Dark wizards and Laxus, Akina narrowed her eyes and scowled, "Fuck it." She pressed herself off of the rubble and sped forwards, her arms getting covered in thorny wood. She got up close to the wind mage and swiped down, creating a giant claw wound stretching from her shoulder to her hip and sending the mage skidding backwards.

The woman let out a screech of pain crossing her arms over her chest. "You bitch!"

"I could call you the same thing." Akina retorted, landing on the ground for a split second before having to jump right back up into the air to dodge multiple shadow hands coming from another wizard. Damn it, there are too many wizards. She thought, glancing over her shoulder to see Laxus already fighting four of them on his own. When she landed she reached her hands toward the sky, "Nature Dragon: Sundrop!" She casted.

Above her, a ball of light that looked similar to the sun appeared and beams of light flew off of it, speeding through the air towards the dark wizards. Each beam of light hit the ground with an explosion, creating small craters upon contact. She watched as the dark wizards tried to dodged the attack, some had managed to just barely avoid the attack but three of them were hit head on and sent flying backwards. Though it seemed it hadn't hurt them a single bit. With the barriers that were surrounding them as well as that spell not working as well at night prevented her from causing as much damage as she had wanted it to.

We have to find who's casting the barrier spell. Akina thought, looking at each of the dark wizards, At this rate we're just fighting a loosing battle. Suddenly she heard a loud thud and she looked over towards where Laxus had been fighting, seeing that he was kneeling down, grasping at his throat with wide eyes. Her nose twitched as she smelled the air, her body freezing when she smelt the stench of poison magic wafting off of him.

"Laxus!" Akina shouted, moving to run towards the struggling wizard. Though before she could get to him something wrapped around her legs and waist, keeping her from moving. Looking at her arms, she saw shadow-like tentacles holding her in her place. Looking over her shoulder she saw that they where coming from the fingers of one of the dark wizards.

"Where do you think you're going?" He asked, lifting her up into the air before brining her down and slamming her into the ground before lifting her back up only to do it once again. The second time he lifted her up he had her face Laxus, forcing her to watch as Laxus struggled to breathe, hitting the ground with his fist. "Now, why don't you watch as your guild mate dies. And maybe after that I'll make you watch as everyone you've met in this world dies by our hands, starting by that pathetic hero over there.

Anger rose in Akina, and she gritted her teeth. "Shut up." She muttered.

"Hm, did you say that you give up? I didn't think it would be that easy to defeat you."

Akina tightened her fists, shadows covering her eyes, "I said Shut up!" She pulled her arms back before swiftly pushing them forwards and breaking free from the shadows. When she landed on the ground she took a deep breath, "Nature Dragon Bursting Blossom!" She casted, sending flower pellets speeding towards he dark wizard and sending them jumping away from Laxus in order to avoid the attack. She ran up to Laxus and skidded to a halt, kneeling beside him and placing her hands on his back. "You were so confident that you could beat these guys." She teased.

Laxus visibly relaxed as Akina's healing magic expelled the poison. He didn't respond to her, only letting out a quiet huff.

Behind her, there was a sudden shockwave that brought Akina's attention towards the battle between All For One and All Might. She placed a hand in front of her face as dust and dirt rushed over her from the impact. The two of them kept contact as they both powered forwards, trying to overpower the other. At the end of the attack, All Might looked to of been the only one to of taken any sort of damage as a magical barrier shimmered around All For One. "I almost didn't make it in time." One of the dark wizards said, a sly smirk on his face. Then he looked down towards Akina and Laxus, who were both glaring at him. "What's with those looks, fairies, not used to the taste of defeat?"

"Looks like the battle has been won, All Might. Now, why don't I kill you in front of all your adoring fans?" All For One asked, raising his hand into the air, activating a few quirks and making it shift and grow under the fabric, exposed muscles, iron drills, and spikes all growing out of it. "After I kill you I think I'll take care of those two over there, then all of your precious students."

Akina glanced at Laxus and nodded, while the man was focused on All Might they both stood up and took deep breaths. If they took down the barrier wizard then All Might would be able to take out All For One.

"Lightning/Nature Dragon Roar!" They casted at the same time. The lightning from Laxus' roar merged with Akina's roar, resulting in the light green beam being swirled by lightning as it sped straight towards the group of Dark Wizards, sending them flying back and through a few different buildings.

Akina jumped forwards towards the wizards then pushed herself up into the air. "Nature Dragon Groundbreaking Kick!" She casted, a magic circle appearing at her heel. She spun and hit her heel against the ground, spikes shooting upwards as they traveled forwards, trapping the dark wizards between each of them. The dark wizard responsible for the barriers was hanging up on one of the spikes, fumbling as he tried to free himself.

Moving forwards Akina casted her Aera spell and flew up until she was just in front of him. Tilting her head to the side, she gave him a smile, though it was hard for the Dark Wizard to ignore the dark aura that was increasingly getting bigger around her. "Drop the barriers. Or else."

"I'll never listen to a feeble fairy."

"So be it." Akina reeled her fist back and punched the man right in the face, rendering him unconscious. She watched as the barrier around him, as well as the ones around his guildmates shimmered before breaking into particles and dissolving in the air. She turned and looked towards All For One, seeing his barrier dissolve. She made eye contact with Laxus and nodded.

"Hey, Old man! Now's your chance!" He shouted.

All Might perked up, and a smile appeared on his skeletal face. From where she was Akina watched as All Might's arm buffed up, reaching his arm back to aim an attack straight towards All For One's face, only for the villain to deflect it. But at the last minute he debuffed the arm All For One was deflecting against and buffed his opposite arm, landing a solid punch on All For One's side, sending him flying into the rubble nearby.

Running over to the main battle scene, Akina looked over at the villain, seeing that he wasn't moving. The villain had taken attacks from both her and Laxus in the beginning, and even though he had a barrier around him at times during the fight All Might had still sent a barrage of attacks at him that would wear down anyone.

Akina let out a small sigh of relief when she realized All For One wasn't getting up. All Might ahd defeated the villain, and the dark wizards had been subdued- or at least that's what she had believed. When she looked back towards where the dark wizards had been, she saw that there was nobody there, all of them had vanished.

The battle's not over just yet, then. Akina thought. If those dark wizards are roaming around then it's time to come clean and tell the teachers and pro heroes the truth. They have to know what they might be going up against in the future.
