Chapter 50
I hope you guys have your permission slips filled out for this feelstrip :)))
______
The medics had helped all of them back to the camp, where they patched up her injuries. She could of healed them herself, but for some reason she couldn't bring herself to do it, every time she had tried something in her head just made her stop almost immediately.
Currently Akina was sitting in one of her roses, leaning against one of the petals as she listened to everything that was going on outside. The Medics had tried to get her into an ambulance but she pulled away from them and cast Roses Defense, making sure nobody would of been able to get to her. The petals were parted just enough for her to see what was going on. The Medics had gotten the students who had been knocked out by the gas and the students who had been injured into ambulances. A few of them were standing near the flower, most likely in hopes that she would eventually give up and let them take her to the hospital.
She had her knees pulled up to her chest and was replaying what had happened just an hour earlier. Every time it played over she thought of everything she could of done differently. Everything she could of done to make sure Bakugo didn't get kidnapped. If only she had done something different he would still be here.
Eventually all of the other students that were uninjured had been taken by car to the police station so they could get their statements down, so as of now it was only a few medics, fire fighters, the Pussy Cats, Aizawa, and her still in the forest.
After a while, one of the medics that was standing nearby walked away, only to return with a man in familiar dark baggy clothing.
Aizawa walked up to the rose and crouched down in front of the rose. "Hayashi, you can't stay in here forever. With the injuries you sustained the best course of action for you is to head to the hospital." Akina stayed silent, pulling her knees closer to her face. When he didn't get a response Akina heard him let out a small sigh and his clothes rustle as he sat down. "You're going to have to come out of there eventually. And I won't be leaving until you do."
Pressing herself against the petals behind her, Akina curled into a tighter ball. She knew Aizawa meant what he said. The amount of times she's him pull an all-nighter and then teach the next day is no joke, but she wasn't going to come out that easily.
Her mind wandered back to Fairy Tail, and she felt a sting in her chest when she thought of her guild mates. Mira would know exactly what to say to her right now, Happy would probably offer her a fish, and the guild wouldn't wait a single second before trying to get their guild mate back.
She had pretended that it didn't bother her. That being in another world was just going to be another adventure for her. But slowly, as time passed she had started to feel more and more out of place.
She missed Natsu and Gray always breaking out into fights, and Natsu constantly begging for fights. Cana's constant drinking, Guildart's accidental destruction, Evergreen's bragging, the way Bickslow's totems copied his words, Jet and Droy's obvious crushes on Levy, Juvia's constant proclamations of Love Rivals, The Master's words of advice. Hell, she even missed getting lectured by Erza.
She wanted to go back to Earthland.
Back to Fairy Tail.
Back Home.
Slowly, the rose started to open, the petals folding back to reveal Akina balled up with her head buried in her knees. her knuckles were white from how hard she was pulling herself to stay in a ball.
Standing up Aizawa walked up to her and crouched down, placing a hand on her shoulder and causing the teen to flinch and look up and look at him with wide, tired eyes.
"Everything is okay." Aizawas said, his voice holding a softness to it.
Suddenly a burst of anger ran through Akina and she roughly shook her head. "No, no it's not. Bakugo's gone because I couldn't stop the villains! Because I couldn't do my fucking job! I'm supposed to make sure nothing happens to the students, but I couldn't even do that." She punched the petals, wincing slightly as pain ran from her shoulder to her back.
"Hayashi-" Aizawa started.
"On top of that I'm in this whole ass different world and have no idea how to get back home." She interrupted and let out a broken laugh and it was obvious to Aizawa that Akina was at her breaking point. Everything was just coming out into the open, flying out without her giving a second thought. "And here I am throwing a fucking pity party for myself about being lonely when Bakugo's probably more alone than I am right now." She bit her inner cheek and stood up, stumbling from the pain a little as she did so. "I have to go after them. I can't stay here and keep on being so selfish."
Aizawa stood up, "Hayashi, you've just gone through a traumatic event, it's okay to act a little selfish."
Akina looked up at him, her brows furrowed in anger, "No, no I have to get him back-"
"Hayashi, it's okay to cry."
The look of anger on Akina's face wavered for a second before it completely fell. Her eyes slowly watered and her body shook. Slowly, one after another tears flowed down her face. She looked down and brought her arms up to her eyes, trying to somehow wipe away the flood of tears.
Looking down at the teen, Aizawa felt a sting in his chest. He had always thought of his student as a reckless idiot who's strength and eagerness got her into too much trouble than it was worth. But now, seeing her like this made him realize that despite how strong she is, she was still just a kid.

Eventually Akina allowed the medics to take her to the hospital, and she let those with healing quirks use them on her. They healed up the wound on her back, leaving a long scar behind. Luckily the wound on her shoulder was able to be healed without a trace. Though due to the quirks, Akina was kept in the hospital overnight to recover her stamina before she was discharged and allowed to leave. Luckily her duffle bag was in the room with all her stuff so she had a fresh pair of clothes to change into before she left.
Once she left the hospital, Akina didn't head back to the house, instead she used her Aera magic to fly straight towards UA. At the gate she could see a crowd of reporters shouting out their questions in hopes that they get a response from anyone inside.
Flying over the gate, Akina landed in front of the school and unlocked the entrance. Stepping inside she changed her shoes and walked through the hallways. Everything was quiet, and dark. She would of suspected that nobody was there if not for the voices of the teachers coming from the meeting room.
As Akina got closer to the meeting room, she could hear the chatter from inside. "-For the moment, what we must do as a school is concentrate on guaranteeing the safety of our student body. This is a good time to implement something I've wanted to put in place for a while." Nezu's voice said, drifting out of the room. Though he was interrupted by what sounded like a ringtone, and soon she saw All Might walk out of the room and stepped just outside the door, from the way he looked to be lost in thought Akina was sure that he hadn't noticed her. Before he could she stepped into a hallway to listen in on the conversation he was having.
After a second, he brought his phone up to his ear and started talking to whoever was on the other line. "Sorry, what is it, Tsukauchi?" He asked.
"We've finally finished taking comprehensive statements from Aizawa and Vlad King." The voice over the phone, Tsukauchi, said. "And I think we found something. It's possible we have a lead on where the League of Villains is hiding."
Akina perked up and peeked from around the corner, seeing All Might's eyes widen, "Really? Are you serious?" He asked.
"Yep. About two weeks ago, I sent an officer around to gather information. A bystander pointed out that he'd seen a man with a patchwork face entering a building that was supposed to be vacant. The man looked to be in his 20s, but we didn't find any plausible matches when we checked criminal records. We spoke with the owner of the building, though, and found that there's sort of a hidden bar there. My man thought this was unrelated to our kidnapping case and didn't investigate further. But remember the description of that villain?"
Akina narrowed her eyes and the image of Dabi appeared in her head, Bakugo in his hand as he pulled back into the mist. Leaning back, she tuned back into the conversation.
"Given the profile of this crime, we'll move as soon as we get the green light. This is top secret. I'm only telling you because it's you. We plan to ask for cooperation from many pro heroes for this rescue and inevitable cleanup mission. All Might. We need your power."
Akina once again glanced over the corner, and watched as steam slowly rose up from him as he inflated, taking the form of the Symbol Of Peace. "Tsukauchi. You're a wonderful friend. And I know just what I'll say when I find them. I am here to make you pay for what you've done."
Akina balled her hands into fists and bit her inner lip. All Might had hung up the phone and was staring out the window, determination flashing in his eyes. She took a deep breath and stepped out from the hallway she had been hiding in, getting the attention of the number 1 hero.
As he looked down at the teen, his eyes widened in shock. "Young Hayashi, what are you doing here?"
"I want to be part of the rescue mission. I want to help save Bakugo."
"I'm afraid that can't happen." All Might said. "You're a student-"
"A student who's hired security and took down three teachers on her first day at this school. Bakugo was kidnapped on my watch and I have to take responsibly for what happened."
"Hayashi-"
"Even if you say no, I'm still going to sneak in on the mission."
"Hayashi, I'm afraid that you might not understand the weight of this situation, or who might be behind it. It's best for you to stay on the sidelines and let the heroes handle this."
"I understand more than you think. I've been through things that you could never even begin to imagine. I don't care how strong the enemy waiting on the other side is, even if they're the strongest villain this world has to offer, I will take them down and get my friend back."
