Chapter 46

"Gajeel!" Akina exclaimed, looking at the newcomer with a relieved look on her face.

"The hell, you know this guy?!" Bakugo asked.

Akina nodded, "I guess you could say he's another one of my family members. More importantly why and how are you even here?"

"Well, this weird crusty guy sent me along with a few other guys to come to this forest and kidnap some kid."

"You're a villain!?" Bakugo exclaimed, setting off little explosions and getting ready to attack, only to hesitate when Akina reched her arm out.

"Just a minute. I'm no villain. When I got brought into this place I was in this weird lookin bar. And that same crusty guy gave me this whole spiel on hero society and corruption. To be honest I had no clue what he was saying but I got the feeling he wasn't one of the good guys here."

"So you were brought here by them too then." Akina said. "You, Laxus, Choco, and I are all in the same boat here, then."

"Not just you three." A new voice said, and Akina looked towards the bushes to see a familiar round eared Exceed step into the open.

"Panther Lily! It's so good to see you here!"

"Is that a talking cat?" Bakugo asked.

"It's good to see you as well, Akina. And you said that Laxus is here?" Lily said.

"I thought that muscle head just up and left without telling anyone again. Wouldn't be unlike him to do something like that." Gajeel said.

"Yeah, he got here a few months ago. We've been working to blend in here since then but well... it's kind of difficult."

"Hey, don't just act like I'm not here!" Bakugo exclaimed, setting off a few explosions. "The hell are you talking about?!"

"Nothing you should concern yourself with." Akina said.

"While we're talking about it, you mind explaining where 'here' is? As far I'm aware it's nothing like Earthland."

"I'll explain everything later, I can't really talk about everything out in the open right now. For now let's focus on what's happening. I have a question for you guys anyways, why'd you stay with those villains if you knew they weren't the good guys?"

"We were hopin' to gain some information on why we're here, y'know, scope everything out. Then this guy said that we're going to this camp to kidnap a kid. The next thing we know we're here."

"We're supposed to be looking for someone named Bakugo Katsuki. Apparently the leader of the evil doers want him for their group." Panther Lily explained.

"Hah? They want to turn me into a villain? No chance in hell is that going to happen!" Bakugo shouted, setting off a few small explosions.

"So They're after Bakugo, huh. I guess that makes sense. He does kinda have this evil-like aura surrounding him so it makes sense." Akina brought her hand up to her chin in thought, "So all we have to do is make sure they don't get to him. Easy as pie!"

"How do you suggest we do that?" Panther Lily asked.

"Well, our main course of action is to head back to camp and make sure Bakugo gets somewhere safe." Akina said, then a tight smile appeared on her face."Then I want to confront the asshole who's burning down the forest."

Gajeel smirked, "Sounds like a good plan to me."

"Everyone in class A and Class B! In the name of the pro hero Eraserhead, you are granted permission to engage in combat. I repeat, use your training. You may fight these villains." Mandalay's voice exclaimed in Akina's head. "Listen we'eve discovered one of the villain's targets. It's a student named Kacchan. Kacchan, you should try to avoid combat. And stick to a group. I hope you can hear me!"

"Well looks like Mandalay got the same news." Akina said, "We should head back to camp. The sooner you're there the sooner I can go off and teach that fire guy a lesson." Akina grabbed Bakugo's wrist and started to drag him along the forest. At the moment they were traveling between the flames and the poisonous smoke. Despite Bakugo trying to pull himself away, Akina didn't let go.

"We should probably leave. I don't know what the others will think if they see us hanging out with you like this." Gajeel crossed his arms, "I still want to learn a bit more from the inside and if they see me and Lily being chummy with you two then they'll start gettin' suspicious."

Akina nodded, "Gajeel, did you get a phone when you got here?"

"A phone, the hell's that?"

"I'll take that as a no. Well, I'll find a way to contact you then. If you hear anything please, report back."

"You got it. We'll be off. Don't get yourself killed, okay freckles?"

"I'm not weak, Iron face."

Gajeel smirked before he waved and disappeared behind some trees, Panther Lily following after him.

"Now come on Bakugo." Akina said, pulling the now extremely confused Bakugo through the forest.

In the distance there was a loud crash, and Akina noticed a large dust cloud rising up into the air and a scent of darkness and feathers surrounded her only moments before she saw Shoji running up to them. The moment he saw the two of them his eyes widened.

"Bakugo! We need some light!" He exclaimed.

"Kacchan!" Midoriya exclaimed.

"It's Arms and green bean." Akina said, her eyes widening as she saw a giant bird beast push past some trees and send them flying towards the ground. "And it looks like bird head's lost control of his quirk."

"We need some light now! He's out of control." One of Shoji's dupliarms shouted in a panic as the two got closer to them.

Akina let go of Bakugo's arm and looked at him, a grin on her face, "You heard the Octopus, it's your time to shine."

Bakugo looked at her, then at Dark shadow, a grin appearing on his face. As Dark Shadow swung at some trees Bakugo jumped forwards, igniting a giant explosion once he got close enough to the shadow beast, leaving the beast to let out a squeak and retreat into Tokoyami.

"And once again I'm a terrible matchup for you, bird boy." Bakugo said.

"Thanks. You saved me." Tokoyami breathed out.

"My friend, are you okay?" Shoji asked. "You did what we needed you to do."

"Shoji. I apologize. You too Midoriya. I'm still far too immature. Anger consumed me. And I let my Quirk take over. The influence of the darkness combined with my fury, spurred Dark Shadow into a frenzy. Until... it got so strong I couldn't contain it. And I ended up hurting Shoji."

"We'll deal with that later. That's what you'd say if your roles were reversed."

"Okay. I don't know if you heard Mandalay, but I found out the villains are after Kacchan." Midoriya said.

"Bakugo, are they trying to kill him? Why?"

"They're not trying to kill him." Akina said, getting the attention on her, "They want to kidnap him and try to turn him into a villain. Our safest course of action right now is to get him to camp where there are a lot of people. Vlad King and Aizawa are most likely there, as well as the students who had to take summer courses. If we go there it'll be safer for all of you guys."

"Right. I understand. So our mission is to get Bakugo back to safety by serving as his protectors." Tokoyami said.

"It's possible the pussycats are still fighting in the clearing. Going that way would draw the attention of the villains plus it's longer." Midoriya started, "We should cut straight across."

"We don't know how many enemies there are. We might come across some by chance."

"We can use Shoji's search ability. Not to mention since we're in a forest the trees can tell me the locations of anybody they can see." Akina said.

"Right." Midoriya said, "With a group like this, we could probably even go up against All Might."

"I'd be fine by myself!" Bakugo shouted.

Akina grinned and looked at the blond, "Just because you'd be fine by yourself doesn't mean we shouldn't help you. We're going to do everything we can to make sure you don't get kidnapped."
