A week and a half into Summer vacation Akina found herself sitting on one of the rooftops at UA, looking over the school grounds with boredom. Even though there were no students on campus, Nezu still requested Akina to patrol campus to make sure there were no security breaches for possible information leaks.

As she was sitting there, her phone buzzed and she pulled it out of her hero costume pocket, her eyes scanning over the notification.

Hagakure and Mina sent in a request for the girls to use the pool on campus so the girls are going to hang out, you want to join us?

Akina thought for a moment. She was on the clock until 6 tonight, but she would still technically be on campus and near anyone who might be in danger if a villain attacks. Besides, it's not like anyone would care if she hung out at the pool for a bit.

Akina had changed out of her hero costume and into some casual clothes before meeting up with the other girls of 1-A.

"Hey Aki!" Mina greeted, waving Akina over.

"Hey everyone." Akina said, nodding in greeting.

"It looks like everyone's here, why don't we head on inside and change into our bathing suits?" Momo asked.

The girls agreed and headed into the building to change into their school bathing suits and headed out to the pool, where the boys of class 1-A were already there, stretching and chatting.

"Alright girls, let's stretch before heading in!" Yaoyorozu said.

"Yeah!" the girls agreed.

After they all stretched, the girls got into the pool and started to splash around. Uraraka had brought a beach ball for them to play with so they ended up throwing it around for a while. After hitting the ball towards Tsuyu with a vine, Akina spared a glance over at the boys, where they had been doing endurance training. At the moment they were taking a small break, with Iida passing out Orange Juice cans to his classmates.

"Hayashi!" a voice called out and Akina looked in front of her to see the ball heading straight towards her. Acting fast she brought her hand up and hit the ball. Due to her reacting quickly, the hit was unbalanced and the ball flew away from her and arching over towards the boys, heading straight towards a certain blond with anger issues, hitting him right in the side of the head.

"The hell? Watch where you're sending this thing!"

"Oh! Sorry Boomie! That was my bad!" Akina shouted, "Can you throw it back?"

"Watch where you're throwing, Ginger!" Bakugo shouted, throwing the ball at full strength towards Akina, using his explosions to propel it faster through the air, though despite the speed Akina was able to catch it effortlessly, not even flinching when the now weaponized beach ball hit her hands.

"Thanks! I appreciate it!"

Bakug gritted his teeth before he turned away and started walking towards Midoriya, probably to take his rage out on someone.

"So, Deku. You wanna settle who's the best between us right now? Huh?"

"Oh, are they going to fight?" Akina asked-- by now the explosive blond had gotten the attention of the class, and everyone was watching him talk with Midoriya.

"No, that's not it-" Midoriya said.

Iida placed a hand to his chin in thought, "Actually you know what? We could make this training a contest." He was quirt for a second before he swung his hand straight up into the air. "Hey everyone! I propose that we see which of the boys can swim 50 meters the fastest! A friendly race!"

"Oh! Looks like they're going to have a competition to see who's fastest!" Akina exclaimed, "Why don't we help them out?" She knew that none of the boys would win if she participated so Akina thought it would be best to sit out of this one for once.

The girls looked at each other before nodding and getting out of the pool and walking toward the boys.

"Iida, why don't you let us help you out with this?" Yaoyorozu asked.

"Yes, please." Iida said. "Thank you!"

"And, quirks. Can we use them?" Ojiro asked from the crowd of boys.

"We'rein school so there shouldn't be a problem with that. However! You cannot cause damage to your classmates or the building."

This will be fun. Akina thought, clapping her hands together.

After the boys lined divided into groups, the first group, which consisted of M*neta, Tokoyami, Koda, Bakugo, and Kaminari went up.

"Okay everyone, on your marks, get set," Yaoyorozu called out, pausing a second before she blew the whistle she had created.

The moment the whistle sounded, the boys were off. Multiple splashes were heard as the boys all jumped into the water, well, all but one. Instead of jumping in, Bakugo used his explosions to send him flying over the water towards the other side, ultimately winning the race.

"How was that you sidekicks?!" He shouted in triumph.

"I'm impressed. Or I would be if you actually swam." Akina said.

"You didn't even touch the water!" Kirishima exclaimed.

"It's called freestyle swimming!" Bakugo shouted. "You extra's don't know anything!" He huffed and walked back to the group, crossing his arms and watching as the second group went up with narrowed eyes.

The second group consisted of Sero, Aoyama, Sato, Kirishima, and Todoroki. On the sound of the whistle everyone sprung into action. Sero used his tape to grapple himself to the other side of the pool, Aoyama used his naval laser to send himself flying over the water— until he reached his limit and was sent falling into the water below, running into Sero and taking him with him. Todoroki used his ice to slide over the pool water. The only ones who swam were Kirishima and Sato, as their quirks didn't help with getting them over the water. Ultimately Todroki won that race.

The third group was Iida, Midorya, Ojiro, and Shoji. Iida used his quirk to skim over the water, using his speed to fly over the water's surface without falling in. Midorya and Ojiro jumped and and started swimming as fast as they could- Ojiro using his tail to push himself faster and Midoriya using his quirk to strengthen himself and slice through the water. Midoriya and Iida were neck and neck during the second half of the race, but ultimately Midoriya hit the back wall first.

"Alright everyone! It's time for the final race!" Akina exclaimed with a wide grin on her face. "Bomb boy, Icyhot Princess, and Green Bean, you're all going to be racing for first place, got it?"

"Listen up, Scarface. Don't you dare hold back like you did at the Sports Festival. Bring everything you've got!" Bakugo said, then turned to Midoriya, "You, too. Fight to win."

"Then the 50-meter swimming race will now begin!" Iida exclaimed.

"You got this hedgie!" Akina shouted. "Blow them away with your explosions!"

"Now on your marks," Iida raised his hand in the air, "Get set-"

Akina's nose twitched and her eyes slightly widened. Someone was walking up to them. She looked towards the edge of the building. The moment iida blew the whistle the familiar dark haired man walked around the corner, his eyes glowing red as he looked at the three boys who had just jumped towards the pool, all of them yelping in shock as they hit the water.

"Why aren't they using their quirks?" Sero asked.

"It's 5pm. Your authorized pool time is officially over. Hurry up and Go home." Aizawa said, walking up to the group of students.

"Come on, just a second." Kaminari begged.

"We were finally getting to the good part." Sero added.

Aizawa's eyes glinted and his glare harshened, "Are you questioning me?"

"Not at all, Mr. Aizawa!" The class exclaimed.

"Now, all of you. Go home." The class groaned and they all started to walked towards the changing rooms, Akina trying to blend in with her classmates. "Except you, Hayashi. We need to have a chat."

Akina let out a squeak and stopped walking, "Yes, sir." She muttered. She stayed behind as her classmates walked away, leaving only her and Aizawa standing near the pool.

"I believe you were hired to be security, not to go swimming with the students while you're on the clock."

Akina huffed and crossed her arms, "I can still protect the students while I'm having fun. Even now I can hear Mr. Ectoplasm playing Tetris on the other side of the school."

"That still doesn't warrant you goofing off. Because of this, you'll be working overtime tonight." Aizawa said. "You'll be here for as long as you were goofing off with your classmates today."

Akina sighed, "Yes sir."
