Chapter 3
After almost getting put in handcuffs and frantically explaining that she had no idea what was going on and had no affiliation with the two villains that had brought her there, Akina was led outside and directed to sit near a group of police officers- though not before getting handcuffed because of 'security protocol'.
"You might not of been involved, but you still need to be questioned as to why you were brought here by those villains." The woman, Midnight, explained.
"Of course. I understand." Akina said, calming down a bit from everything that had just happened. She was still confused by the strange scents and some of what everyone was saying- stuff about quirks, and pro heroes, UJS, and even more concepts that she had never heard before. For now, it was best to sit and wait.
She sat crossed legged on the ground watching as people walked out of the building, until a whole group had been gathered. Everyone in the group looked to be around her age. A man in a tan coat stood in front of the group, taking account of everyone there.
"-17, 18, 19." The man said. "Everyone seems to be unharmed except for that boy who's legs were all messed up." He said, writing something down on a sheet of paper as the kids talked. "Let's hurry up and get these kids back to the main campus. They've been through a lot, we don't need to question them right away."
I wonder what's up with those weird costumes. Are two of those guys knights of some sort? They're wearing armor so they must be, right? I wonder if they're affiliated with the Magic Council or the royal knights. Akina thought, looking at a teen boy with dark blue hair alongside a boy with blond hair that seemed to sparkle as the group of kids started to get on some sort of magic-mobile.
"Excuse me!" A voice said, and Akina looked from the students to in front of her, seeing a mouse... bear... man? Standing in front of her, the man in a tan coat now standing beside him since he had taken care of the kids.
"Oh, um. Hello. Could you possibly be an exceed?" Akina asked.
"And exceed? I'm afraid I don't know what you're referring to! I'm the principal of U.A, Principal Nezu!"
Akina tilted her head. "U.A?" She asked, "Sorry if I offend you, but, uh, what's U.A?"
"You don't know about U.A?" The man in the tan coat asked.
"I'm afraid I haven't. Is it some new wizards guild?"
"Miss, where are you from?" Nezu asked.
Confusion washed over her, "I'm from Fiore, just like you two?"
Nezu and the man glanced at each other before Nezu cleared his throat. "Miss, I think you should come with us."

Akina went with the two and ended up sitting in a building that looked to be four tall towers, each connected by a single walkway between them. She was lead through the hallways until she was in a room with a few couches and a small table. Though apparently they thought it was still necessary for them to keep her hands cuffed.
"Would either of you like some tea?" Nezu offered.
"Tea sounds wonderful. Do you have any herbal ones?" Akina asked. Tea was practically leaf water, which meant she would be able to replenish her Dragon Slayer magic with it.
"Of course! It will just be a second!"
"Thank you! I appreciate it!"
As Nezu made the tea, Akina took a seat on a couch across from the man, eventually Nezu walked up to them with a box of tea as well as a few cups and hot water.
"Now, I'm assuming you want to question me?" Akina asked, preparing her tea.
"That would be correct! First off, let's start with names. I already introduced myself, and this man right here is Detective Tsukauchi!"
"My name is Akina Hayashi, it's a pleasure." Akina said with a smile.
"Now that we know each other's names, do you mind telling us what your quirk is?"
"Quirk? What's that?" She asked, tilting her head in confusion.
"A quirk is a special superhuman ability that a person can have. Each quirk is unique to the user and are placed into three different categories, Emitter, Mutant, and Transformation, and each quirk has a limit or drawback unique to them." Nezu said.
"Oh. I don't have one of those." Akina said plainly.
"Are you quirkless?" Tsukauchi asked.
"No. I don't have a quirk but I have magic."
"I'm afraid magic doesn't exist, Miss Hayashi."
"If magic doesn't exist then how do you explain this?" She asked, reaching out her hand and activating her magic, a magic circle appearing at the palm of her hand and a few roses growing out of it.
"Normally we would believe that was the result of a quirk. But those cuffs you're wearing prevent the wearer from activating their quirk. Just that fact alone has proven what you're saying is the complete truth. Detective?" Nezu said, looking towards Tsukauchi.
"Nothing she has said recently has set off my quirk. As far as I'm aware she's telling the truth."
"But how does that make any sense. Magic doesn't exist..." Nezu muttered, placing a paw to his chin.
"I might be able to explain that... could I possibly see a map?" Akina asked.
"Certainly!" Nezu hopped down from the couch and walked over to a desk, pulling what Akina assumed was a rolled up map. He soon returned and placed it on the table, unrolling it to reveal different areas of lands and oceans. Though the first thing Akina noticed was;
"I can't read any of this." She said, staring at the strange symbols that were on the sheet, now would definitely be a time Levy's translation spell would come in use, "But even without reading it this doesn't look like any map I've seen before. There are way more different area of land than what I've ever seen before."
"What do you mean by that?" Tsukauchi asked.
"Everything about this place is nothing like I've seen or smelt before. I believe that I've somehow been transported from my world to here— I don't think this is the same world that I'm used to."
