Chapter 13
"I'm gonna win the Festival, I'm gonna beat them all! I'm gonna win the Festival and show who's strongest of all!" Akina sang out as she walked through the halls of U.A. The weeks up until the Sports Festival passed by quickly, and it was finally the day.
"You're in a good mood." Someone said and Akina turned to look behind her, seeing Tsuyu walking up from behind her.
"Am I? Oh, I guess so. I'm just excited for the Festival. I'm hoping to come in first!"
"That's a high ambition, ribbit. You think you can do it?"
"For sure!" Akina said. While in this world she's known that she's most likely stronger than most of the students at this school— hell she beat a group of heroes three on one and she's definitely gotten much stronger since then. "I mean, you've all worked and trained hard, but so have I, and I have no intent on loosing!"
"I admire your confidence." Tsuyu said as they walked into the classroom.
Akina grinned. She was definitely going to go all out— she just had to make sure not to destroy the coliseum.

After they had all changed into their gym uniforms, they were guided to a waiting room they were going to stay in until they were called out. Akina was sitting on the top of the table where Bakugo, Kirishima, and Kaminari were sitting— much to Bakugo's obvious displeasure— when Iida stepped into the room.
"Everyone, get your game faces on! We're entering the arena soon!" He shouted. "And Hayashi! Get off the table!"
"Make me." Akina said, sticking out her tongue.
"Midoriya." A voice said and Akina looked from Iida over towards Todoroki, who was walking up to the freckled boy.
"H-Hey Todoroki, what's up?" Midoriya asked, by now everyone in the room had noticed the two boys and were watching to see what would happen.
"From an objective standpoint, I think it's fairly clear that I'm stronger than you. However, you've got All Might in your corner helping you out. I'm not here to pry about what's going on between the two of you, but know that I will beat you."
"What's with all these declarations of War lately?" Kaminari asked.
Kirishima got up from his seat and walked up to Todoroki and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Yeah, what's the big deal, lately? Why're you picking a fight all of a sudden? And right before we get started?"
Todoroki elbowed Kirishima's hand off of his shoulder. "We're not here to be each other's friends. Don't forget that this isn't a team effort." He turned to walk out of the room, only stopping when a certain ginger haired girl moved to stand in front of him.
"Man, you're being really serious, huh?" She asked, leaning forwards until her face was only a few inches from his.
"Hayashi, what are you doing?" Jiro asked.
Akina ignored her and instead continued to address Todoroki. "You need to relax a bit, Ice Princess. This is a friendly competition after all! Besides, when you're fighting alongside friends and companions you get stronger yourself!"
Todoroki scoffed, "That's a joke."
"Really now? Then how about I give you a war declaration of my very own! Todoroki Shoto, I promise I'm going to beat you, and prove that I'm right."

Akina and the rest of her class started to walk down the hallway, Present Mic's voice washing over them as he introduced the class to the crowd.
"Let me hear you scream as our students make their way to the big stage! This first group are no strangers the spotlight! You know them for withstanding a villain attack! The dazzling students light up their teammates with solid gold skills! The Hero Course Students of Class 1-A!"
Akina and the rest of her class stepped out onto the field, the cheers from the crowd washing over them. Grinning Akina waved at everyone not showing the same nervousness some of her other classmates were showing.
"They haven't gotten as much screentime, but this group is stock full of talent! Let's welcome hero course class 1-B!"
Another class of students walked into the stadium. Akina had recognized some of them from walking past them in the hallways, as well as seeing them in the cafeteria, but the thought of being able to fight them made her excited.
"Next up, General Studies Classes C, D, and E!"
"It's turnip head!" Akina exclaimed once she spotted the familiar purple haired boy. She moved to wave at him and once she got his attention he sent a glare in her direction. "Aw, don't be like that." She said.
"Support Class, F, G, and H!"
Akina hadn't seen the support classes a lot, but some of the students looked interesting to her.
"And finally business classes I, J, and K!" Present Mic finished.
Akina didn't recognize any of these students.
"Give it up for all of the U.A's First year contestants!" Present Mic shouted, and the crowd went wild.
"Now for the introductory speech!" A voice said and Akina looked towards the front to see Midnight standing on a podium.
"Uh, someone should talk to Ms. Midnight about what she's wearing." Kirishima said.
"Yeah, that costume should come with a warning." Kaminari agreed.
I don't see what's wrong with it. I mean, sure, it's kinda skin tight but it's not the worst outfit I've seen. Akina thought, tilting her head a bit as she looked at the hero.
"Silence everyone!" Midnight exclaimed. "And for the student pledge we have Katsuki Bakugo!"
"He's the first year rep?" Midoriya asked fearfully.
"I guess that Hothead did finish first in the entrance exams." Sero muttered.
"Only for the hero course exams." A girl sighed and Akina looked over at her, seeing that she looked like she didn't want to be there.
"Oh, right." Midoriya said.
"That girl obviously hates us." Sero muttered.
Akina turned and watched as Bakugo climbed the stairs to stand on the stage. There was a small stretch of silence before he started talking.
"I just wanna say, I'm gonna win."
At those words, the other classes immediately started to boo him.
I should of expected he would say something like that. Akina thought with a sigh.
"Why would you be so disrespectful, you're representing us all!" Iida shouted.
Bakugo turned and looked at Iida. "Not my fault the rest of you are just stepping stones to my victory." He said, giving all the first years a thumbs down.
"That's it." Akina said.
"Hayashi?" Mina asked.
Akina walked up and stood in front of him as he walked down the stairs, an innocent smile on her face.
"What do you want, extra?" He asked.
Without a word Akina raised her hand and karate chopped Bakugo on his head. "That's for being an ass." She karate chopped him a second time. "And thats for calling me an extra."
"What the hell!?" Bakugo exploded.
Akina just gave him a smile and walked back to the rest of the crowd, completely oblivious to all the stares she was getting from her classmates.
"Without further ado, it's time for us to get started!" Midnight exclaimed, continuing on with the Festival. "The first game is where it all starts, this is where you begin feeling the pain! The first fateful game fo the festival!" A screen popped up behind her and in a blur of motion the title of the first game popped up.
'Obstacle Race'
"All eleven classes will participate in this treacherous contest! The course is 4 kilometers around the outside of the stadium. I don't want to restrain anyone- at least in this game-" Midnight licked her lips, "As long as you don't leave the course, you're free to do whatever your heart desires! Now then, take your places contestants!"
Akina followed the rest of the first years to a corridor that lead outside of the stadium. She stood near the middle of the crowd, looking up at the three green lights.
The moment the last green light turned off, everyone was off.
