9- Cleo
1 more day until the big battle. We've been debating whether our choice is right or not. We had come to the conclusion that the author was the good one at first but then we rethought it. Isn't there that famous saying? Don't judge a book by its cover. Maybe we were judging the two because of their appearance. But then again the author did warn us first and Grian had described the place where he met here as a wonderful peaceful forest and if the surrounding is based on the characteristics of the person who created them wouldn't that make the author the nicer one? At last, we decided that the author was the good one so we just had to figure out what we had to do with the halos to make sure that the narrator doesn't destroy our server.
Finally, Xisuma had found some coding in the darker one. Since that belonged to the narrator it must mean that we had to change it so that he won't be able to access all of his power. I studied the halos closely as X was messing with the code. I could have sworn they glitched and swapped places but when I blinked they were back to their original position. Must be because of all the stress I thought to myself. TFC had reported back saying that the battle place would be in the shopping district. Of all places, they chose the one filled with so many things.
I just had to hope that we could stop before any real damage was caused. I just hope we did the right thing, I couldn't imagine what would happen if we messed up and now the evil side would win because of us. I sighed, this just had to get all complicated. We could have had a happy end spend the rest of our lives building and pranking and doing fun things. I was frustrated with everything right now. I decided going out for a walk to clear my head was a good idea. I wandered through a taiga forest. I came across a small river that's when I noticed the multiple footsteps. Three pairs, one of them were from someone with wings, you could tell because they weren't as deep in the mud. The second pair was made by someone wearing rubber boots and the third and last pair was made by a pair of hoves? They weren't from a horse for sure it was more like a camel but not quite. I followed the tracks through the forest.
I came upon a clearing, on it stood a small cottage. I entered and found an open book lying on a small wooden desk in the corner. It seemed to be a journal, I started reading what was written on it.
It's all perfectly going according to plan. They fell for my trap, those damn 'unaffected' ones almost ruined my perfect plan. I saved it at the last second but it still caused a small disturbance in my plan. No matter once I complete the plan I'll finally have all the power over the server.
This had to have been written by either the author or the narrator. I'm sure it's the narrator and his stupid plans.
While lost in thought Cleo didn't hear the door open nor did she hear the footsteps approaching. The last thing the poor woman felt was a sharp pain in the head as a big piece of wood knocked her out.
