6-Grian

This is my destiny. To lead my side into the victory. I looked in the mirror. I had changed, not physically, mentally. My usual smile was wiped straight of my face and I was instead met by a cold grimace. Everyone always told me I had an energetic spark in my eyes, that doesn't exist anymore. My eyes have just turned into a dull black thousand-yard stare. I really had changed. But maybe it was for the better. That stupid energetic, fun, bubbly guy, he was annoying anyways. This is what I was supposed to be like.

I walked outside of the team base and entered a taiga. The dirt was wet and the grass smelled fresh. I wandered around not particularly thinking of anything. I was at a river and stared into my reflection again. Is this what I want? I asked myself. For a moment I saw the old Grian, but as soon as he appeared he vanished and I was once again met by my own cold stare. I took a step back from the lake. I had just gotten a flashback. It wasn't very clear and I barely remembered the details. I just remember blood, lots and lots of blood. I shivered as I thought of it more, it happened when I was 9.

It was a perfectly normal day till then. I vaguely remember playing with lego when my dad hastily picked me up and hid me upstairs in the closet telling me to be quiet until he came back. I did as I was told and quietly waited for my dad, hiding under a pile of not so neatly organized shirts. Eventually I fell asleep and woke up when it was dark outside. I hesitantly got out the closet and walked downstairs where I almost collapsed.

The next part will be describing a not so nice murder scene. So TW:BLOOD and some horrifying descriptions. I don't know if I should be proud of that.

My dad's dead body hung from the ceiling, his right hand had been violently ripped of. His usually neatly tucked in shirt was ripped up. One of his eyes was missing and the other eye's pupil was rolled back so far it was barley visible. He had a big stab wound in the middle of his chest. Blood dripping all over it. But the worst part was the ginormous hole in his chest, on the place where his heart should have been. My mom on the other hand was just as terrifying if not more. Her body had been cut in half. Her upper body was laying upside down on the couch. Half her hair had been burned of and her nose had been sawn of. Just like my dad she had a huge hole in her chest where her heart had been. The other half of her body was discovered by me when I opened the food chest . The legs were placed in a weird position. One foot was just dangling on to the leg by a thin tendon.

Alright murder scene over

I hadn't even noticed the storm that was brewing up until I felt rain on my skin. It started out like a light drizzil but the rain became heavier and it started hurting when it touched my skin, Strange I thought. It had been sunny the entire day but I thought nothing of it as I walked through the forest to go back to the cave. I looked around for the path I had come on. It had disappeared. I looked around trying to find something to indicate the path but everything looked the same. The same tall taiga trees, the same patches of podzol and coarsed dirt. It had started thundering in the distance. It was dangerous to be in a forest during a thunder storm. My parents always told me that. They always said, "Run out of the forest as fast as possible. You don't want to end up like uncle Fibus." One problem though, I didn't know where out was. The thunder was now getting louder indicating that it would soon be directly over the forest.

I just ran, ran as far away from the river as possible. I ran just as fast as I had run when I had discovered my parents' bodies. I had no idea where I was running to. I stumbled through the woods out if breath. The wind was now howling very loud, a strong wind flew swept through the forest causing a branch from one of the trees to fall of. It almost hit me but I jumped back and avoideded it. But while jumping back I fell over a rock and hit my head on a root. I could have sworn I saw someone walk towards me, but my vision was getting really blurry. The last thing I could make out was the high pitched squeaking of an animal.
