Adi,

Life has been beautiful since I married Raksha. Now 3 years since we tied the knot , I am a father of two beautiful kids, Advay and Raina. Advay has recently turned two and had began his initial training, he is the apple of our eyes and is overly pampered my his maternal family. What should I say about Raina. The day she was born my family seems to have got a new life, the celebrations in Ranawat Palace lasted more than a week. I don't remember so much enthusiasm last seen in my family. Raima is the only girl in whole of our clan, even in my extended family and that makes her important , popular and my parents scared. The fear of non surviving girls still linger around in my parent's heart and that makes them over possessive about Raina. I still remember the day she was born, dad thanked Raksha numerous times and then chased all the doctors to confirm if there were any health issues. His tears wouldn't stop, he kept staring at the little girl in his arms as she made funny sounds. She inherited my dark thick hair and my eyes resulting in the name Raina.

Raina is the most important person of Ranawat clan, she has more security than any of us and no one has the right to question about the same. Walking into my chambers, I smiled hearing the small sounds coming from the crib. Walking to it , I lifted my 6 months old baby girl, ''So finally you decided to get up. Its 11 in the morning princess. Don't you think its late.'' She squealed at me happily

''I have bathed and fed her, you can now take her to dad.'' Raksha said walking to out from the dresser. She had taken up all the responsibilities so well that its hard to say that she is the same pampered , naïve Princess.

''Are you all set to leave for Jaigarh, Ananya is due in few days.'' I asked. ANanya was due her second baby in a week and Raksha desperately wanted to be there

''I want to but not with that whole platoon of security.'' I could understand her discomfort but dad is too paranoid about the little Princess.

''I understand, don't worry I will figure something out.'' She smiled at me.

''Where is Advay?'' I asked looking around the whole chamber

''He is with mom.'' She replied , wiping Raina's face. I stared at her for a minute before pulling her closer, ''We should take a break and go to London for few months.''

She smiled, ''Last time we took a break , Raina happened and I got teased by everyone for getting pregnant within one year of Advay. No, we are not going anywhere.'' She shook her head crashing my honeymoon dreams to dust.

''Hey, this time I will be more careful.'' I tried to bribe her

''Still a no, and I don't want dad worrying about Raina . If we go to London, he will miss her terribly and I don't want that. She will stay here, till dad believes that all around her is safe.'' She replied , her eyes on Raina. I fell for her again, she is the mother of these 2 kids but she never complains about the long hours they stay with grandparents. According to Raksha, grandparents can teach a lot more than parents and I couldn't agree more.

''hey princess, you look so beautiful in Pink.'' Dad cooed as I handed him the little girl. She expressed her delight with ferocious movement of her limbs.

''Dad, Raksha wishes to visit Jaigarh for a week.''

He immediately froze, he kept staring at Raina for long and then slowly added, ''Its fine, but make sure you have plenty of security around our Princess, she is precious.''

''I will make sure she is looked after properly and it's just a week.'' He nodded. Frankly, I don't argue much on the security and medical check up part. Dad went through a trauma when my sister died. He loved her and could never forget the pain. Only after arrival of Raima, things changed. After years I have seen him so happy. She is his life, and ours too. The Palace and its staff are very fond of two kids, for Advay they have respect as he will grow up to be their lead but for Raina they have immense love. The staff who had been working for us since generations had celebrated Raima's birth in grand way. They make sure that everything which belonged to Princess is safe and good for her.

Sometimes I am worried about the attention she gets, I don't want her to be dependent nor a brat. When time comes, I will make Raima understand about right and wrong. Raksha was leaving in a day and I decided to accompany her for sake of my parents.

Dad hugged the kids tight and held Raina for little longer, ''I will miss you Princess.''

''Dad, I won't be gone for long, I promise.'' Raksha said

''No its fine, it's your right. Don't bother and have fun.'' He caressed her head handing Raina to her. Advay demanded another hug and dad obliged, ''Don't be naughty little guy.'' Advay nodded all obedient and then waved at his grandparents getting into the vehicle.

Raksha leaned on to my shoulder, I pecked her forehead my eyes on my kids. People have a love story that has struggles pain and lessons. Mine had been a funny one, first I was ready she wasn't, then she was I wasn't, again I was and she wasn't and then we finally got married. We had our share of pains but they were all self induced and this why I call our story funny. Frankly, I happy we had a story and hopes it goes beautifully.

Raksha,

When I reached Jaigarh, Ananya had already being taken to hospital and this time whole of the Rathore family had joined, leaving kids in custody of Raksha. Adi had accompanied me to Jaigarh, he offered to stay back to take care of our kids.

I was being driven to the hospital by Hansa, she narrated how bhai had started panicking when Ananya complained of pain. I shook my head, he will never change . When it comes to Ananya he is both strong and weak.

''Ananya Rathore!'' I asked the receptionist. I quickly made my way to the allotted floor. I was greeted by Hamant and Balwant who stood there guarding the elevator. Greeting them with a smile, I quickly made my way towards the room.

Bhai kept pacing from one end to other, Mom and Granny sat together their eyes on delivery room, waiting for the doctor to come out with the good news. I walked and stood next to Dipika, ''All good right?''

''Everything is fine, it's just bhai who is panicking for no reason.''

''I took a sigh of relief.''

''Why the hell its taking so much time?'' Bhai growled making us jump

''Will you shut up and sit at one place Ranvijay!'' granny's voice echoed the corridor with equal fervour and bhai immediately went calm. We both could hardly contain the laughter hence decided to get tea for all. Once out of sight, we laughed, ''Was he same when Rolli was born?''

''Yes, even worst, I had to step in to keep him calm.'' Dipika replied

''So why not now?''

''Doctor said all is fine, they took her in 10 minutes back. We will hear the good news anytime soon.''

Nodding, I helped her carrying the cups to our family. We were little surprised to find everyone crowded together, we smiled hearing a loud baby wail. ''So, the prince is here.'' Dipika squealed

''How are you so sure?''

''I just knew, may be just an instinct.''

We quickly made our way to the family and there he was, the replica of my brother waling as if we were torturing him. ''He is going to be a loud one.'' I said caressing his head

''I think he would be the smartest one'' granny said, she then looked up , ''How is ANanya doctor?''

''Fine, resting now. You can see her once we shift her to the room.''

''When can we take the discharge?'' That came from bhai

''2 days Ranvijay and no hurrying this time.'' Mom interrupted the conversation firmly. Turning to all of us she commanded, ''After meeting Ananya, I want all of you to go home . I will stay with Ranvijay.''

''But MOM...''

''Veer, I said no discussions and kids are alone. You should go back.'' We quietly nodded our head. Once Ananya was shifted to the room, we just barged in all excited, she sat leaning against the pillow smiling at us. After an hour, we were being chased away by mom and we had no option but to leave.

When I reached home, Raina had already slept while Advay seemed confused about whom to listen to Rolli or Vikram. ''Chachi!'' Rolli ran to Dipika the moment she saw her. Dipika gathered Rolli in her arms and it just took her few minutes to pat her to sleep. And it did resolve the confusion of my son who now attentively heard what Vikram said.

''Time to sleep boys.'' That came form Veer who cuddled my shy son. Vikram held his mother's hand and waved to us as they took leave. Finally, we were all alone. Resting my head on Adi's shoulder I wrapped my arm around his middle, ''I will be going back tomorrow morning. Will come back to pick you up.''

I hummed in response, ''I wish you could stay longer.''

''I want to but have to go. You know dad doesn't take any interest in the affairs of the estate.'' He replied caressing my head, ''You are going to miss me.'' He asked

''No, I am just worried who will handle Raina.'' I replied tongue in cheek. He lifted his torso up to have look at my expressions, ''You are lying right?''

''I am absolutely serious.'' He frowned , pushed me bed and started tickling me mercilessly. I laughed pleaded and then laughed again, ''Apologise!'' he demanded

I refused with the shake of my head and his attack turned merciless. In our little game we forgot that our son was sleeping in next room. He walked in rubbing his eyes and then joined his father, ''tickle attack.'' For a moment we froze as things had started heating up, but thanks to my luck he understood nothing. The father son duo made me double up, when I couldn't take more my actions turned offensive from defensive. I attacked Advay, tickling him. He quickly took refuge in his father's arms giving me the chance to get an upper hand, ''Hey , that's cheating.''

''Who said?'' I asked slapping his butt. He glared at me, gesturing towards Advay but I hardly cared. Advay had his face hidden in Adi's chest and since both his arms were busy holding our son, I tortured him till I could . ''I will have my revenge.'' He said. Laughing I pecked Advay and then him, ''Any day, I am ready for it.''

He watched me emotionally, leaning his forehead against mine he gestured me to be closer. I obliged hugging my son and husband. I love my life and people in it, I thank my stars for blessing me with such a wonderful partner.
