All of them went home in happiness. They were quickly finishing their late supper. They opened the package with rubber gloves (instructions from Peter's dad). Peter's dad was cutting the black thread wrapped around the parcel and Dave exclaimed when he saw it. Look what's inside! A sheaf of papers with so many pound bills! As Richard counted the marked bills, Peter's dad, Mr Devereux was checking the Key that was found inside too. It had a note stuck on it.

All the boys were looking at the bills when Mr Devereaux shouted that they had found that the bills were actually fake and that they were kept to protect this key from being seen! Richard, "I seem pretty happy that we found this clue so that we can open the door to the robber's house. I know that there is a shop somewhere close to Maidenhead that is close to West London that is called 'The Rentals' Dave said, "We should check it out". "Maybe Peter's dad said," These guys steal the bicycles and bikes and then rent them so that there is a constant income for them. That night the three boys used maps to find 'The Rentals'- it wasn't located exactly near West London. It was more towards North London near London City Airport so that people can take it from there when they transport bicycles. They planned that Richard would go there tomorrow night so that he can maybe break in and see their plans. The next night, as planned Richard set off with the thought of his beloved bicycle coming back. As he reached the store a great thumping noise was heard followed by a great groan. This scared Richard but when an ear-splitting scream was heard Richard could hold it no longer. He ran for his life. He felt the cold wind blow against his face as he opened his house and the door wasn't opened. He waited for a minute or so, and then his mom opened the door. He got in his bed and immediately dozed off.
