You would have probably noticed my chapters are really short. This one is slightly longer. I think that it would help in separating scenes because they are in different settings.

The Trio were having a sleepover at Peter's house. They were playing a game when they heard a scream! As if on cue, their coats were on and they quickly wore trainers and rushed outside. They saw a man running out of a house where an old lady lived. The three started to run. The robber quickened his pace and ran towards a black sedan. They memorized the number plate of the car as it sped away. Dejected, they walked back to do Peter's home. They discussed the matter themselves and then reported it to Peter's dad who in turn told them some things. He said that the robbers may not be only stealing bicycles; it could be other things, too. He said that the gang might be stealing many other things, too. "Tell me about the number plate peter", he said. Peter said, "It was SCG 991". Immediately Mr. Devereux wrote it down and decided to call the inspector. He retold the facts and cut the call. Rubbing his palms together, he stood up. "Listen, you three. You need to focus on this mystery and be careful, got it." "Yes, Mr. Devereux", Richard and Dave chorused

In Peter's room, they discussed their progress. The next day, they found out that the old lady on Peter's street was also robbed, again for her great-nephew's bicycle. The bicycle was not stolen, thanks to Mrs. Wilkins' shouts. They were walking on that very same street when Richard spotted a fallen wallet. They realized that it could be the robbers'!

Richard was about to pick it up when Dave immediately said, "Stop!" "The robbers' fingerprints could be on it!" They picked it up using latex gloves which Peter always carried. Then it was taken to Dave's house. Later that day, they went in a taxi with Dave's mother to Mr. Devereux's office. They were told to wait in the lobby for a few minutes by his secretary and then walked in. Richard showed him the clue and he used his complex machine for fingerprints to find out the fingerprints. Then he took a printout of it, sent it to Inspector Andrew and smiled at the boys. He said it was good for them to come up with such a valuable clue. "Wait a second", Peter said. He took the wallet and spilled its contents. He saw some money and a driving license. "Guys! Look at this!" Peter exclaimed. "Now we know the robber's name and we can check if the car belongs to him!" He opened his notebook and said, "Yes, Mr. Paul Rex's car is SCG 911!"

On the trip back to Richard's and Dave's houses (Peter stayed at Mr. Devereux's office), Richard was bubbling with excitement. He told his mother everything. He then opened his computer and googled Paul Rex. He got many results. When he saw the results he immediately turned off his computer as there were 9 million!
