Azura's POV

Yamiko: wow, do you have a reason for traveling?"

: yes, but I don't want to talk about it"

Yamiko handed everyone a small bowl of something. I poked it with a spoon.

Exia: Yamiko what is this?"

Yamiko: potato soup"

We started eating. Wow, it tastes just like Olivia's potato soup. After eating, I was changing into my nightclothes. Yamiko was laying on her sleeping bag. I pulled my journal out.

"Day 786,
Today I'm joined with a small group from the mighty kingdom, one girl two boys, one of them asked me about how I met Olivia and Nick. I don't plan on showing them my powers but for some reason one of the group members has dark powers like me"

Yamiko: Azura?"

:* I jumped and hide my journal* yes?"

Yamiko: what are you writing?"

: my journal* I hugged my legs* I been doing it for a while"

Yamiko: may I ask how long?"

: 2 years now"

Yamiko: can you keep a secret?"

: yes"

Yamiko: Sakura is my real name, I go by Yamiko to hide from my family"

: Luna is my real name, I only go by Azura to find my family and to know what happened to them"

Sakura: I like Luna*I smiled a little* I promise I won't tell anyone"

I locked my journal and went to sleep.
The next day, we were heading to the mermaid lake when I saw Amber talking to someone.

: Amber?!"

She turned and looked at me.

Amber: what do you want?!"

: Amber, you never yell at me... is something wrong?"

Amber: maybe, I want you to be far away from me! you keep secrets from everyone"

my heart started to break. Ghost gently pulled me into a hug.

Exia: Azura has done nothing wrong!"

Amber: that's where you are wrong!, she is keeping secrets and not telling anyone about her past!"

Exia: she does not tell us anything!"

Amber: Azura you should tell them about your real name and you are faking to be nice"

tears started to roll down my face, I don't fake anything I gently gripped Ghost's shirt. Ghost gently rubbed my back

Sakura: she is super nice"

Amber: Azura, I want you to leave me alone and never talk to me again!"

we walked away from her and went to the mermaid pond, Ghost looked at me and gently wiped the tears off my face, I smiled and gently hugged him.

Sakura: Look it's a mermaid"

Melody:* she looked at us* what business do you humans want?"

Exia: we need two tears of the living water, please we ask that we can see the living water"

Melody: only she* she pointed at me* can go in"

I took my shoes and bag off, I drove in the water and saw the living water, I got two tears and bowed to the living water. I swam up to the surface and started to cough, I stayed under too long. Melody helped me to my friends, Exia and Ghost helped me on the sand, Sakura placed a blanket over me. I smiled these people are being nice even though they don't know much about me.

Exia: can we stay here until she dries off?"

Melody: yes, anyone who shows the living water honor can stay here"

I felt something coming towards Exia and the mermaids, I quickly stood up and blocked it. I was still weak from being underwater too long, Sakura and Exia got in front of me and attacked it. Ghost summoned a grim creature and told it to protect the mermaids. everything went back

Exia's POV

I saw Azura about to fall but I caught her, Yamiko ran over to us.

Yamiko: she needs to rest, her energy has not recovered from being underwater that longer"

( the mermaid water has a powerful effect on twin magic users like Azura), me and Yamiko put a tent up and gently put Azura in the tent, Ghost was fighting off something that keeps attacked us. Melody shifted to her human form and froze the user in ice, no fire can break mermaids ice. ( Mermaid ice power are only in the royal family ) Ghost sent the spirit back to the grim realm.

Melody: your friend is she okay?"

Yamiko: yes, she just needs to rest"

Ghost: we should make camp here for now"

Melody: thank you all of you for protecting us, can I see your friend?"

Yamiko: sure"

Melody went into the tent and started healing her. I could tell Yamiko was worried about her. I gently pulled Yamiko until a hug. She buried her face in my chest. I started to get one of my memories back

I was training with the head guard when I saw a young girl crying. I placed my sword down letting the head guard know " I'm going to check something out" I walked over to the girl and gently pulled her into a hug, she buried her face in my chest, I gently rubbed her back.

: Yamiko, when you little did a boy hug you the same way I'm"

Yamiko: yes, he looks like you"

: I was that little boy"

Melody: she is going to be better after she rest"

Ghost: thank you for letting us while she rests"

Melody: you're welcome, please allow us to make you something to eat"

Azura: I can't have fish"

No One's POV

Exia, Ghost, Yamiko: Azura!"

Azura smiles a little and got tackled into a hug. Azura hugged them back.

Melody: how are you feeling?"

Azura: better"

The mermaids started fixing the food for their quests, Yamiko was making food for Azura since she couldn't have fish. Azura had her feet in the water.

Exia: how are you feeling?"

Azura: better, I will need to take it easy for a little bit"

Exia sat down next to her

Exia: may I ask you something"

Azura: sure"

Exia: where are you staying?"

Azura: at a camp near the castle, I saw with Olivia and Nick"

Ghost: don't you live near the village that no one is living in?"

Azura: yes"

after eating and spreading time with the mermaids, the group went back to the castle. Azura, Olivia, and Nick were about to leave when the Prince stops them.

Prince: Azura, may I speak to you alone?"

Azura's POV

: sure"

me and the prince walked away from Olivia and Nick,

Prince: me, Olivia and Nick picked out a house for you three"
