Now I jump out from behind the car to see Max holding the struggling animal and writing on his notepad! He was murmuring something to himself. My mouth fell open!

"Max!?!" I said in a confused sort of yell.

"What," He said scribbling a drawing on his notepad.

"What are you doing," I asked him terrified. "Put it down!" I practically screamed.

Now it started hissing.

I jumped back. I took a breath and stepped forward. "Max, what are you doing?" I said calmer this time.

"Research," He responded.

I took another step forward. "Why, and what is it?" I said.

"I have researched every animal I have seen and more. This animal is not from here or anywhere." He said looking through pages in his book. He looked up, "It's a new species." (Dun dun duh!)
