Two weeks later, the exam had already been completed throughout the week. All students are gathering in the main hall for the school assembly.

Almost half an hour lasted and finally the announcement for the students who excelled in last week’s exams will be announced by Mr Kim.

Hwayoung focused looking ahead. Jay stared at her from a distance. He sighed a little before his gaze returned to the front.

"The outstanding student who got a straight A+ and got the top spot for the mid-year exam is Yun Hwayoung from class 12-1,congratulation!" said Mr. Kim and all the students gave a roaring applause.

Hwayoung displayed a surprised face when a line of her name was mentioned.

"Hwayoung-ah! Go up on that stage." said Sunoo a little loudly while smiling happily at her. Hwayoung returned her smile and rushed up to the stage to pick up certificates, trophies and a photo session.

After saying thank you, she returned to her seat. Her eyes were fixed on Sunghoon who was sitting not far from her.

She saw Sunghoon raise both his thumbs which is a good symbol to Hwayoung. Hwayoung smiled and replied with a peace sign towards Sunghoon. Their scene was watched only by Jay in silence.

"Congrats bestie! We are so proud of you!" Aera and Nellie hugged Hwayoung tightly. Hwayoung chuckled slightly as she returned the hug.

Then, the three of them sat back at the cafeteria table.

"Thank you guys. I didn't expect I got this award." Hwayoung said while sipping her strawberry milk.

"And I didn't expect you could beat Jay." Aera replied.

"Oh yeah?" Hwayoung looked at her.

"Yep. If you want to know, Jay Park is the only student who always gets first place in the overall student at this school and he's also the best role model student." Nellie said succinctly.

"Best role student?" Hwayoung grinned cynically.

"In academics I mean." Nellie chuckled.

"His attitude is always zero for sure." Aera interrupted by saying lazily.

"Hwayoung."

The three of them raised their heads to see the person. It's Jay. Aera and Nellie were already clearing their throats while doing nothing while Hwayoung continued to shift her gaze to another place.

"Can we talk?" Jay asked her.

"I'm busy with my things." Hwayoung answered as an excuse.

Jay hold her wrist. Before Hwayoung could say anything, Jay continued to take her to the backyard of the school.

When they got there Jay released his grip. Hwayoung crossed her arms over her body while looking at Jay unsatisfied.

"What do you want?" Hwayoung asked lazily.

"I'm sorry." Jay said in a low tone.

"Alright." Hwayoung wanted to leave but Jay stopped her.

"Hwayoung please don't be like this. I'm really sorry for what happened before. It's all my fault." Jay said again by appealing to her.

Hwayoung let out a small sigh. "I forgive you. Besides, I already forgot about that."

"Really?" Jay looked at her.

Hwayoung nodded. "Yea."

"Thank you." Jay smiled at her.

"Anything else?"

"About my confession that day, I ..."

"I don't want to discuss about that." Hwayoung cut his verse.

"Why?"

"I'm not ready to give an answer and please understand my situation Jay." she said with a little firm tone.

"Because of Sunghoon?" Jay guessed.

Hwayoung looked at him puzzled. "Sunghoon? He's not involved in this so stop blaming him."

"Okay sorry I didn't mean anything. Just please don't get too close to him."

"Is that a problem for you?"

"Yes. I'm jealous to see you guys together." Jay said honestly.

"Nonsense." Hwayoung kept walking away leaving Jay there.

That afternoon, as usual Hwayoung and Sunghoon practiced ice skating together. After two hours of practice, they finally rested for a while.

Sunghoon opened the lid of the mineral water and gave it to Hwayoung.

"Thanks." Hwayoung said and took the mineral water and took a sip. Sunghoon just watched her.

"Next week the competition will start." Hwayoung started the conversation.

Sunghoon nodded. "Yeah ..." he looked at Hwayoung who started to wave a little worried.

"Are you nervous?" Sunghoon asked her.

"A little."

"Don't worry. We've practise well and I'm sure we can also make the best performance later." Sunghoon gave her a smile.

"Thank you." Hwayoung said suddenly.

"For?"

"Because you have been a good partner for me. You have given me a lot of guidance." Hwayoung returned the smile.

"Anything for you."

"So ..." Hwayoung started to stand up from her seat.

"I think I need to go back now." she said, carrying her bag.

Sunghoon also stood up. "Sure. Take care."

"You too."

The long-awaited day, a school-level ice skate competition is now being held at the Lotte World Ice rink. Byeongho high school students and two other different schools were also there. 

Aera and Nellie were sitting in the front row while mvp members were sitting behind them. It can be said that their seats are so clear to watch the show that will be shown soon.

In the situation behind the board, Sunghoon and Hwayoung are still sitting to wait their turn. They will make the last show later.

Sunghoon looked at Hwayoung who was wearing a white ice skate dress attached to her body. Their outfit matching so well.

"Hwayoung."

Hwayoung turned to him. "Yes?"

"You look beautiful."

Hwayoung raised her eyebrows before laughing a little. "I don't think I fit in this outfit." she shook her head.

"No seriously you look more pretty with that dress." once again Sunghoon praised her.

Hwayoung's face started to blush a little. She blinked her eyes for a second before changing the topic.

"Ah what song will be played when we perform later?"

"You're the reason by Calum Scott and Leona Lewis."

"My favorite song." Hwayoung smiled to herself.

"The last participant from Byeongho's school students to perform is Park Sunghoon and Yun Hwayoung." they started to announcements through the speakers who were in each of the halls.

Sunghoon and Hwayoung stood up. They walked out to get into the ice skating area after putting on their ice skates.

At that moment, a roaring shout was given to them. Hwayoung could feel Sunghoon holding her hand. Hwayoung returned the grip.

"Hold me tight, Sunghoon." Hwayoung said to him.

"I won't let you fall, trust me." Sunghoon replied.

They both smile to each other after the feelings of deja vu.

Jay who saw those who were not far from them try his best to hold back the anger and jealousy in his heart.

Heeseung who was aware of Jay started rubbing his shoulder.

"You're okay?"

Jay nodded slightly. "Yeah."

"Here." Jungwon who was next to him handed a bottle of mineral water to Jay.

Jay looked at him strangely but he took the water as well.

"Drink to soothe your burning heart." Jungwon chuckled as he patted his shoulder several times.

Jay was shocked. "What are you ---"

"You're too obvious." Jungwon said to him.

Jay sighed. Soon after, he looked back at Jungwon. "Sorry about that day."

"Chill. We're okay." Jungwon winked at him.

"Guys the show is starting!" Jake said excitedly.

When the song was played, Sunghoon and Hwayoung started their dance softly and neatly.

Efficiently, Sunghoon held Hwayoung's waist tightly while making five spins in the middle of the area. The audience there was impressed with their performance.

Jay stared right at Sunghoon who was faithfully holding Hwayoung.

Please come back now

Sunghoon plays the role by lifting Hwayoung's body up efficiently and they manage to make the stunt.

And there goes my mind racing

I'm hopeless now

Hwayoung's turn to play her role is to wrap her hands around Sunghoon's neck while playing dance moves with their footwork.

Sunghoon smile at her before he moved his body close to Hwayoung and they both did the last spin at each of the ice skating areas.

Near the end, Sunghoon and Hwayoung end their ice skate dance with the way Sunghoon hugs her waist while Hwayoung holds his shoulders in a way they are opposite to each other.  

At the same time, Jay continued to run his gaze in the other direction. Heeseung patted his thigh once.

"Relax." said Heeseung who was bites his popcorn. Sunghoon and Hwayoung performance was given a standing ovation after they both bowed respectfully and finished their show.

"I thought you two didn't come." Hwayoung continued to run towards Aera and Nellie. They hugged for a moment before unraveling.

"Hey we're supporter our member okay!" Nellie said and Aera laughed as did Hwayoung.

In Sunghoon's situation, he was greeted happily by his members except Jay.

"There he is our ice prince!" Sunoo hugged Sunghoon as his legs jumped small a sign he was so happy.

Sunghoon returned Sunoo's hug with a laugh. "Thanks guys."

"You did well hyung! You looked good match when you were with Hwayoung earlier." Niki said.

"So Sunghoon ... Don't you feel something when you do the dance with Hwayoung?" Jake started teasing him.

"I'm pretty sure that lyrics related to his heart for express his feeling, right?" Sunoo raised his eyebrows many times and also teased him.

"Ah ... You guys please stop it." Sunghoon face started turned red.

"There goes my heart beating, cause you're the reason ~" Jake sang the line of lyrics with his dramatic face.

"Ahh no! We're just partners no more than that." Sunghoon started hitting Jake's shoulder once.

All of them laughed at Sunghoon's behavior except Jay. He approached Sunghoon and patted his shoulder once.

"Proud of you." Jay said in a regular tone.

"Thanks hyung." Sunghoon replied briefly only.

"Heyy Sunghoon come sit with us." Heeseung invites him when he realizes the tense situation between Park’s siblings.

"I bought snacks for you, let's eat together." Jungwon said while hugging Sunghoon's shoulder to join them.

Sunghoon returned the smile and just followed their rhythm. Jay was still standing there.

He looked at Hwayoung who was laughing with Aera and Nellie there. Moments later, he returned to his seat. They rested for a while before waiting for the results of the ice skate winner later.
