Jay entered the pool room sluggishly while ignoring the strange look from his classmate who started to enter the classroom. He knew the time for this swimming class was over but he didn’t care at all.

"Jay Park." call from Mr. Chan made Jay look at him with a raised eyebrow.

"What?" Jay asked indifferently.

"Do you know what time it is now?"

"Yea." he answered lazily.

"So I'll assume you skipped my class this morning." said Mr. Chan as he raised his glasses over the bridge of his nose. Jay nodded casually as he placed his small bag containing his towel on the table provided.

"Alright Mr. Chan. Just do whatever you want, okay? I don't care at all." he answered.

Mr. Chan shook his head. He knows Jay Park very well. When reprimanded, there is only one answer given by Jay. Mr. Chan continued to walk without replying to Jay's words.

Hwayoung, who had just overheard the conversation between the two of them, began to feel angry with Jay's rude attitude.

"You're so rude ..."

Jay turned his body when he started to notice Hwayoung was standing behind him.

"Mind of your bussiness." said Jay then unbuttoned his shirt and now he was only wearing short pants for swimming. His perfect body shape was obvious.

Starting from that proud broad shoulder

followed by slightly sturdy biceps

and ended with those energetic looking abs.

Hwayoung was stiff in position. Her cheeks flushed red as she saw the 'beautiful view' from Jay.

"Oh damn..."

"Huh?" Jay turned to her with a strange look on his face.

"oHh DaMn WhY YoU lATe?" Hwayoung quickly covered her verse.

"Can you just go away?" Jay snorted harshly.

"But what are you doing here? Our swimming class is over so we need to go back to join for the next class." said Hwayoung.

"Who are you to direct me?" Jay stared at her sharply. Hwayoung looked at Jay by returning his gaze more deeply.

"I'm Yun Hwayoung." Hwayoung replied not wanting to give up.

"So far there's no one has dared to respond to me like that." This time Jay's voice changed to a low tone but still sounded cold.

Hwayoung hugged his body casually. "Oh really? So I'm the first?"

"Yes and you don't know who Jay Park completely yet."

Hwayoung grinned mockingly at him. She was not afraid of Jay's verse.

"I know. He's a student who likes to sleep while the teacher is teaching, diligent in skipping classes, rude, arrogant and most importantly he's very poor with manners. Here he is, Jay Park!" Hwayoung clapped her hands sarcastically at Jay who was already feeling hot tempered.

"You think you're great? You're just the first day into this swimming class so you don't have to show off the way you curse me while you're the one. Noob." sneered at Jay rudely.

"Absolutely yes, I don't know how to swim. Why? You want to fight a swim with me?" Hwayoung challenged him.

"Tch. You will definitely lose." Jay smirk.

Hwayoung shrugged both her shoulders with a small chuckle.

"Yeah... Besides, I'm not good at swimming either. If I fall in this pool, I'll drown later." meanwhile she was playing around by the pool on purpose.

"So don't go near that pool if you know the humidity you're not good at swimming." Jay warns Hwayoung when he sees her by the pool.

"So wha --- argh!" When Hwayoung turned her body, automatically she fell into the pool. Her hands fluttered in the air as she gasped for breath.

"Do you think I'll save you?" Jay's question was cynical even though he's starting to panic now. Hwayoung, who was still reeling, began to sink to the bottom of the pool. Jay was startled by a pair of large round eyes.

"Yahh yahhh!" Jay shouted in confusion. Without wasting time, he continued to plunge into the pool. Jay immediately searched for Hwayoung's body.

But he did not find Hwayoung there. Jay reappeared on the surface of the water as he searched for Hwayoung. Soon after, Jay heard Hwayoung's laughing voice that was behind him.

"Hahahahaha! Your face is funny when you're panicked!" Hwayoung laughed at Jay.

"Are you crazy? What if you drowned earlier? I'll be the one to blame later!"

"I'm not even dead, am I?" Hwayoung resumed her remaining laughter.

"Yaish!" Jay sneered angrily as he splashed water in front of him roughly until it hit Hwayoung's face. Hwayoung coughed as the water got into her mouth and nose.

"Yahh!" Hwayoung also retaliated with a similar attack on Jay.

"Are you try to challenging me?" Jay from losing patience. Hwayoung nodded her head. Again she patted the surface of the water hard in front of Jay's face. Hwayoung laughed when she saw Jay's hair that was stuck up due to the water slap from her just now.

"Your face is like an octopus HAHAHAHA!" Hwayoung's curse made Jay attack her by approaching Hwayoung and trying to soak her head in the water. But Hwayoung quickly dodged accompanied by her relentless laughter.

She swam to the next area to get away from Jay. But as she looked back, Jay suddenly appeared in front of her suddenly while holding Hwayoung's waist to be her victim. Yet spontaneously, both of Hwayoung's hands fell on Jay's exposed shoulders.

Jay who didn't have time to do anything remained stiff in his position with Hwayoung. Their gazes met while their hearts beating fast.

Jake, who had just entered the pool room, was stunned to see Jay and Hwayoung's romantic scene there.

"Seriously?"Jake asked himself in disbelief at what he was watching at this point. He stepped closer to them and continued to break the mood of the moment.

"Eherm!" Jake cleared his throat loudly as he hugged his body with a teasing smile on his lips.

Jay continued to let go of his hug then pushed Hwayoung's head away from him like nothing had happened. Hwayoung, who was about to drown, immediately snorted a little while roll her eyes at Jay.

"Go." Jay's direction to Hwayoung and she just kept following. She managed to carve a clumsy smile to Jake before she left.

Jay started swimming to the edge of the pool then reached for the small towel that was in his bag. Jake approached Jay with his cheerful whistle.

He sat squatting in front of Jay who was still in the pool area. "What was that?"

Jay wiped his face and hair for a moment before looking up at Jake.

"What?" he asked again.

"Jay with a girl ... Close and friendly like a couple in love."

"Nonsense." Jay shook his head with a soft laugh.

"See? You're laughing." Jake was getting shocked.

Jay remained silent and showed his poker face. "Just stop it Jake. What you saw earlier was not what you thought. It was all an accident."

"Oh yeah? I wonder what the reaction of other members will be when they find out about this?" Jake smirk.

"Don't you dare Jake. I warned you." Jay raised his index finger in front of Jake's face. Jake just laughed at Jay's behavior that be trying to hold back the shyness even though his face was clearly turning red at this time.

Jake rubbed Jay's nose with his finger.

"Are you blushing?"

"YAH!"

"HAHAHAHHAAH!"

After changing her clothes, Hwayoung entered the classroom and continued to sit at her desk. She blinking her eyes when reminded of the incident earlier. She slapped her cheek.

"Gosh ... What did we do just now?" Hwayoung cupping her gaping mouth. She looked at Jay's seat next to her. He's not back yet ... How am I going to face with him after this?

"Hwayoung?"

"Yea?" Hwayoung looked at Sunoo who was weird looking at her.

"Are you okay?"

"Y-yes." Hwayoung replied.

"You know you missed one of Mrs. Lee's classes,right? Where did you go after the swimming class?" Sunoo wants to know.

"Err ... I ..." Hwayoung didn't have time to give a reason because Jay had entered the classroom and sat at his seat. Hwayoung looked forward while Jay just acted calm.

"And you ... Where did you go without join Mrs Lee's class earlier?" This time Sunoo asked Jay as well.

"Swimming." Jay replied shortly.

"Oh yeah? Okay ..." Sunoo nodded understanding."

In a second, Mrs Lee's will be in our class again. Her class has two times today." said Sunoo and Jay sighed a little.

"Bored." said Jay as he spread his fingers in the air.

When Mrs Lee entered the classroom, they resumed learning the subject of Bio.

"Before that, Hwayoung? Why didn't you come to my class earlier?" asked Mrs. Lee.

"Ah ... Sorry Mrs Lee. I didn't feel well just now and took a break in the treatment room." Hwayoung said while denying it.

Jay who listened in silence smiled. Good at cheating yea.

"How about you Jay?"

Jay simply shrugged his shoulders in response. Mrs. Lee muttered lazily.

"Nevermind. So since you two missed my class just now, I'm going to unite you in one group for a class presentation project later."

"What?!" they looked at each other before looking back at Mrs Lee in front.

"No excuse. Later I'll give a title to each group respectively. Goodluck everyone."

The second week, the day of the ice skate class started as usual. While waiting for the other students to practice, Sunghoon took the opportunity to go to the place where Hwayoung was chatting with Aera.

Their conversation stopped when Sunghoon ask Aera to leave them both for a while.

Hwayoung looked at Sunghoon with a strange look. "What do you want?"

"I want you to stop from joining this class." Sunghoon replied.

"Wow. May I know why?" Hwayoung asked him.

Sunghoon gritted his teeth angrily. "You're not good at this sport. This image of the school might fell because of you. You better quit before things get worse."

Hwayoung shook her head with a small laugh. "Park Sunghoon ... If you've been given the title of ice prince in this sport, let me be the ice princess,okay. Isn't it fair?"

"You don't deserve with that such a high title. Shame yourself." Sunghoon sneered slowly.

"Well ... Let's wait and see." Hwayoung smiled before walking towards to Aera back. Sunghoon just looked at her from a distance.

He started thinking of finding a way how to stop Hwayoung from continuing to join this ice skate class. Soon after, Sunghoon smiled to himself. Finally he got the idea.

"Mingyu-ah." he pulled the shoulder of Mingyu who was standing close to him.

Mingyu hesitated. "Yes?"

Sunghoon whispers briefly to Mingyu about his plans about Hwayoung. Mingyu who heard that kept nodding in agreement.

"No problem." Mingyu continues to get Hwayoung's shoes in the bag quietly before hiding them somewhere without Hwayoung realizing.

Not long after that, Mr. Han called Hwayoung name. "Hwayoung?"

"Yes Mr. Han?" Hwayoung raised her hand.

"There you are. So ... Are you ready to show your improvement to me and the other friends?" he asked.

Hwayoung nodded. "I'm ready."

"Since you're the last person, you may start now."

Hwayoung started looking for her skate shoes that were placed on the bench earlier. She panicked. "Where's my shoes?" Hwayoung searched again and it was still not found.

Aera who saw her continued to approach Hwayoung. "What happen?"

"Did you see where I put my shoes?"

"Didn't we put our shoes together on this bench just now?" Aera frowned strange. Aera's shoes are still here, only Hwayoung's shoes are not there.

"Aera ... How can I do that if my skates missing?" Hwayoung almost cried. This was the only chance she had to show Mr. Han her skills.

"You can wear mine." Aera handed her skates to Hwayoung.

"Seriously? What about you?"

"I have spare shoes in my locker. It's okay, just wear them. Get ready now, Mr. Han is waiting for you." Aera urges her and Hwayoung continues to wear Aera shoes that fit her foot size. Thank god!

"Thankyou Aera ... I really appreciate it." Hwayoung patted Aera's shoulder before sliding into the ice skating area.

Sunghoon snorted. Ah no! I hope she fell rolling while doing the stunt. Aish!

Hwayoung started her skill footwork neatly. The axel style action was performed as she rotated her body in the middle of the ice skate with a beautiful and soft balance.

All the students were stunned including Mr Han who was already smiling to see Hwayoung there. When Hwayoung finished, a thunderous applause was given to her as well as a lot of praise from all of them.

Sunghoon sighed heavily. It seems that his plan did not work.

"Awesome performance Hwayoung, congratulations! Your steps, your spins, your jumps are all right. Good job!" Mr. Han complimented her with a wide smile on his lips.

Hwayoung bowed towards him before smile at Mr Han back. "Thank you Mr. Han." she said politely.

She managed to glance at Sunghoon who was looking at her coldly. Hwayoung smiled triumphantly as she deliberately wanted to make Sunghoon feel annoying.

"Before we disperse, I have something to announce to you all. Last Monday, I discussed with teachers from other schools to set a date for the ice skate competition which will take place four months from now." said Mr. Han with his explanation.

"Today, the axel ice skate practice for our class is over. You all did your best. Congratulations. So, I will tell you about the duo who will be united in the ice skate couple duo competition later. The results of this selection were chosen from my own observations and evaluations so just accept it.” Mr Han smiled at the sight of his students starting to feel confused and excited in front of him.

Hwayoung nudged Aera's shoulder who was next to her. "Ice skate duo what?" Aera herself shook her head in ignorance.

"First,the male participant is Park Sunghoon, our ice prince!" They clapped when Sunghoon started walking and standing next to Mr. Han.

"While the female participant is Yun Hwayoung, our new ice princess for this year!" Hwayoung was shocked. Aera pushed her body to come forward together on Sunghoon's side.

Hwayoung stood next to Sunghoon. Each of them showed a ripple of dislike about the couple duo ice skate that arranged by Mr. Han.

"Well, your hopes of becoming an ice princess have been fulfilled." Sunghoon said insinuate to her in a slow tones but could still be heard by Hwayoung.

Hwayoung feels happy but when matched with Sunghoon, she really feels regret. This is not what she expected. Why do these Park siblings need to be my partner? I hate it T^T
