I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. I twisted my hand and body to turn it off.
I sat up and yawned that turned into a stretch...Todays the day. I stood up and grabbed a hair brush and started to do my hair. I grabbed my Bennie and my hoodie and walked into the bath room. I looked into the mirror and saw a mark on my left check. I looked down balled up my fists and sighed.
I shook my head and continued to get ready.

After getting ready I grabbed my backpack and headed off to school.
My dad goes to work on Mondays so he needs the car So he yells at me to just walk.The cold air filled my lugs with every step I took. I looked up and saw that it was cloudy,I grabbed my phone and ear buds and plugged them in. I listened to music until I reached the school.
I stood in the campus and took a deep breath. I walked through the front doors, no one payed and attention to me. I looked around desperately trying to find the principals office.
Bam! I fell to the ground someone hit me. I look up to see this beautiful woman with books around her. She looks around my age, Beautiful bluebell eyes and her Brunette hair tied in a ponytail.

"O-oh! I'm so,so,so sorry! I didn't see you there." She said.

I waved my hand and helped her up and picked up her books.I held them out to her she looked at me and gave a warm smile.

"Thanks...Your the new kid?" She questioned.

I nodded.She looked at me confused, Oh god is she going to asked me?

"Hey...What's wrong why aren't you talking?" She asked

How did I know! I looked down ashamed at myself. I looked at her trying to see how I'm going to tell her...Wait I can't...

"Um...Hello?" She asked.

I looked up and did a gesture to my throat. Maybe this will help tell her.

"Are you sick?"
I shook my head and grabbed my phone and showed her and put it on silent.

"Oh...Are you a Mute?" She asked.
I nodded and looked at me and smiled.

"Heh...That's good to know, I'm April Jones by the way!" She said extending her hand out.
I shook her hand, Oh I need help to The principles office! I tugged on her sleeve.

"What?...Oh you need help?" She asked.
I nodded.
"Ah ok! Mostly you want the principals office,It's on the first door to the left." April said with a grin.

I tugged on her sleeve again...I know what direction she means but I don't wanna go alone.

"You want me to take you?"

I nodded and we walked to the office. I looked at April and she was looking trough her bag, She pulled out a star shaped note pad along with a pen.
We stopped and she held them out to me.

"Take these, You just write down what you wanna say!" April stated.

I took the note pad and the pen, I flipped it opened and wrote down.

I showed her the message and she giggled.
"No problem! So what's your name?" She asked giving me a warm smile that made me blush.
I began to write down.
My names Ben Lloyd
I showed her.
"Well it's nice to meet you Ben. Well here's the principals office...Well I have to head to class...See you around Ben!"
She said walking away.
Her voice,Her looks! She was perfect...April...She seems like the type of person who would sit in the park studying the looks of the park that surrounds her.
I walked into the principals office,There I see a man in a white button up shirt with his sleeves rolled up. He had Black hair and green eyes, he looked up at me and smiled.

"Hello! You must be Ben right?" He asked in a thick Australian accent.
I nodded, He gestured his hand to a set. I walked over and sat down.
I watched him pull out a file and place it into the table.

"Now...Ben I have looked through your files,Your a smart boy! And I see that your a mute...Don't worry Ben I have informed all the teachers about this,I don't want you to feel uncomfortable, So...I'm going to have you take study hall and another elective ok.." He informed me.

I looked down and nodded.
He grinned and grabbed the phone.

"I'll call someone to take you around the school..." He said.

My eyes widened, I waved at him and pulled out my new note pad and wrote down.
April,
"You want April,to show you?" He
asked cocking an eye brow.

I gave a smile and a small nod.

"Alright!...I'll call her in." He said.

He started to dial numbers.
I looked down and messed with my hands, I'll get to see that beautiful girl...She's sweet...Wait did I make a friend?....I was wide eyes... The word 'Friend' didn't really have a meaning for me, But this was different.
