Personality: Lucas is a very relaxed individual, though he has his arrogant streak. He is confident in himself and what he does, and it seems from the outside that very little can shake him. He puts up a cool front, unruffled and unbothered, though he cares far more than he lets on. He tries way harder than it seems, as well. To most, he seems like a laid-back musician with a no-fear, worry-free attitude, but a cocky and arrogant personality to accompany his laxness. While this is all very much Lucas, it isn't all he is, and rather is what he chooses to show the world. He is arrogant, he is cocky, and is usually quite relaxed. But he does a lot behind the scenes to ensure that everything runs smoothly, and that all is well. He wants to keep doing what he's doing. He can be a little blunt at times, and can come across rude even if he doesn't mean it, though sometimes he does. Depending on who you are, he can either be standoff-ish, or flirtatious. He'll flirt with a rock wall, it is simply his nature. He has only a small circle of those he actually trusts and considers friends, but enjoys the attention he gets from others around himself. Flings and trysts tend to be more his style.

Backstory: Lucas grew up with a very complicated relationship, both to his family and his culture. He was born in Egypt, and lived there with his family until he was 12 years old. From there, they moved to Belgium, as his father had inherited his family home after the passing of Lucas's grandmother. The family relocated, which was very tough on Lucas. Not that being in Egypt was all that great for him, either. He often struggled to fit in. He knew the language and the culture, he is Egyptian, but he's also half-Belgian. Which, apparently, made him not good enough. He struggled just the same in Belgium, though at least it was a little better. But worse, because he didn't have his other family. He went from being around his extended family, which was quite massive, to it just being him and his parents. He joined band, though, and there he found his solace. He can sing, he has an amazing voice, but his skill on the guitar is truly where he feels at home. But he can also play piano, and the harp (which his mother taught him). When he was 16, he tried to convince his family to let him drop out and pursue music. He failed. When he was 17, his baby sister was born, unexpected to all. He had always grown up on the outside, it felt like, his parents never fully understanding him (though they tried, sort of), always wanting him to be something he wasn't. When his sister was born, Lucas felt even more on the outside. Though he loves his family, so much, he just doesn't feel like they understand him. His parents managed to convince him to go to college, though he dropped out after one semester. He went to college in the United States. New York City, specifically. He fell in love with the city, the people, and the energy. He dropped out, and alongside three of his friends, and formed a band. Thanks to Lucas's powers, they gained a following quickly, for their 'strange, living' music. No one knows how they do it, they tend to assume it is something technical. Only Lucas and his bandmates know it is him, combined with the powers of one of his other bandmates, Vi. He has barely spoken to his parents without it being strained the last 8 years, since he dropped out, despite the fact he has been largely successful, and makes a good deal of money off this job. His parents are disappointed. It was not the life they envisioned for their son. However, his sister Leana, adores him, he is her hero. He goes to visit the family when he can.
