Personality: Eli is a very brash, brazen individual. She takes nothing from no one, and isn't afraid to speak her mind. She is not always the most approachable individual, but she cares more than she lets-on. She is that kind of person who tags along, but they say it's because they want to be witness to the disaster unfolding. In her case, this is true, but deep down it is also because she wants to feel like she is apart of something. She can be a bit lonely, but she covers that with her sarcasm and passive-aggressive interactions. She is not someone who looks for a constant companion, though a friend she can call when she is in the mood wouldn't be so bad. She does have a few people in her life, but she wouldn't consider herself super close with them, not anymore. She has odd connections to people in odd places, both seedy and well-to-do. She seems to know people from all backgrounds of life, which is quite baffling due to her lack of permanent friendships. If you ask others, they are fascinated by her, but some will say they are not her biggest fans. There was a time when Eli was a warm, open, and friendly person, a friend to all. But she is no longer that. Win Eli over, and you'll have a friend you can count on, even if she does keep most things to herself. She is a walking mystery. Her life is not the expected life, and each detailed revealed could not possibly be guessed. She is fun, though, if not stand-offish.

Powers: She is a mutant with truly destructive abilities, able to explode whatever she wishes with a thought or a touch, but she hardly has them under control because she bottles them up.

Backstory: Eli grew up in a single-parent household, with just her dad. They were fairly rich, and she spent more time with the nanny than with her father, who was always off doing god-knows-what. When he was home, though, he was the best father in the world. Growing up, Eli didn't know how strange this was, or what her father was really like. He was her hero. As she grew, she realized just how unfairly she was treated by her own father, how she was more 'in-the-way' as she grew and learned more about him. One day, she and her father got into an explosive argument, practically screaming at one another. This was when she was 17, right before she started her last year of school. Her temper reached such explosive heights, unleashing the pain and anger of neglect all in one go, her powers finally manifested themselves. Everything exploded. Literally. Her father got seriously injured in the explosion, their house nearly burned down. Yet Eli remained unscathed. Nothing happened to her. Everything was somehow written off as a faulty accident of the gas lines, but Eli knew it was her. Once she knew her father would be alright, and as their house was being rebuilt, Eli stayed with the woman who was her nanny. When she inevitably moved back in with her father, when she was 19 years old, she was a different person. Passive-aggressive, sarcastic, always keeping people at arms length. She put distance between herself and her friends, not wanting them to somehow get hurt, too. Only her nanny, a woman named Belinda, knew of Eli abilities. Tried to figure out how to help her, but Eli just shut down instead, bottling them up. Now, whenever her emotions reach an ultimate high, especially her anger, something explodes. So, she does what she can to numb her emotions and keep people away. That's why she has so many connections from so many walks of life. Other mutants, like her, who did what they could to help her. Now, at 22, she lives by herself in an apartment for one.
