^^Cute random drawing down by one of my friends, her character is Iris Walker^^

We all slowly get out of bed and look around the room, as if someone could've sneaking in with an invisibility cloak or something.

Thankfully, nobody snuck in with an invisibility cloak...

From what we could tell.

Zuri leads the way to the door and opens it, peeking out before motioning for us to follow. I make sure to keep Iris between us so we won't lose her.

And the Mustard Seed in my now sweaty hand, can't lose that either. I'm starting to think it might have a little more power than it's given credit for.

But I should probably get a container for it soon or something.

I nod in agreement with my own thought. Yep. Because that helps the brain process LOADS.

Zuri leads around a corner and stops, waiting for us to catch up.

"If we are allowed to be out here, then why are we sneaking like thieves?" Iris asks. I look up at a camera,

"We sure are bad thieves if that's what we were doing." Zuri grumbles,

"You two sure know how to take the fun out of everything, don't you?" I look back down to her,

"Oh, I'm sorry. Were we supposed to be acting like little sidekicks? Newsflash for you, Grell, Ciel and Sebastian are the lead roles in this show. Not you." (*cough* These three randomly break out in anime references. *cough*) Zuri tries not to smile like me and Iris are as she puts a hand dramatically over her chest,

"And where would you be without side characters?" I chose it's best not to answer and look around as they continue.

Something feels... off about this hospital. It's the middle of the day, and yet, I can't see anyone else here. Not a Doctor, Patient, or Nurse in sight.

There is a hushed silence as well.

Not a noise sounds raises Iris and Zuri bickering behind me. Let's see if they notice, but I hope I'm simply going crazy.

I turn on my heel to face them.

And I have to cover my mouth to keep from screaming. Something is hovering over my friends. Is looks horrible.

Neither one of my friends seem to notice.

Zuri certainly doesn't when the thing starts to run its long, curling claws through her hair and I can hear a raspy, throaty voice float across,

"You're doing you're impressions wrong, my dear. Because of that, they won't like you. They'll leave you alone in this world, maybe even go as far as killing themselves. Oo, that would be such a treat now wouldn't it?" The tone sends chills down my back and I get a feeling I feel all too often.

Anxiety.

The being turns and seems to see me for the first time. It grins.

This thing, is a matted ball of fur that looks like something a cat would cough up. It has two front legs that resembles a monkeys, only the fingers morph into long, ugly claws with pointed tips. Where the end of its body is supposed to be, it simply fades into a matter fur-covered snake-like thing. The fur is brown. Then we get to it's face. It's face is a skeleton head that has been sharpened to a point at the end, and then cut off the sharp part. The mouth is a line cut into the white bone. Where it's eyes should be are two, gaping black holes. That are staring right at me.

My fist closes around the seed.

The thing reacts instantly,

"What if that seed doesn't protect you? Or worse, what if it protects ONLY you? What if I can kill you're precious friends right in front of you, while you're perfectly safe because of that cursed Seed." I swallow nervously and my grip on the seed loosens.

What if he's right? It could kill them in a flash! I'm useless I this situation!! Why can't Zuri and Iris see it?!! What-

Calm down.

A stray reminder pricks at my memory and I whisper,

"If it could only protect me, then how were we all safe when that care crashed? Including the guy that flipped?" This thing glitches like a Matrix thing or something.

My hand tightens on the seed.

"You know what, this seed hasn't made me lose yet. And it won't for as long as I have it." The thing laughs and shakes its head as it starts to fade away,

"Oh, darling. You couldn't be more wrong."
