I had to go do something, I'll be back soon I promise.

Clementine:
They are releasing me from the hospital but I have to rest. I was wondering if you'd stay with me. Griffins got shit to do and I dont want to stress Ollie out, hes staying with Kacey when she gets off of work.

Jadenhossler:
I'll come get you in an hour or two. Is that ok?

Clementine:
Griffy said he'd take me home.

Jadenhossler:
I gtg I'll see you at the house in 2 hours.

I walk up the steps of the district Kacey works in.

"Welcome to LAPD Swat how can I help you" the Desk Sergeant asks as I walk up to the desk.

"I need to speak to Officer Max Jenkins" I say fiddling with my jacket sleeve.

"I'll go get him for you may I ask what this is regarding" he asks me.

"Uhh it's in regards to the assault on Clementine Willows" I respond.

"Ok have a seat" he says as I go and sit in one of the chairs in the lobby.

"What's up" Max asks when he walks out.

"First, did you get anything for the security footage" I ask.

"It came back inconclusive" Max says "Jaden if you know something, you need to tell me, let's go back to the bull pen, it'll be more private"

We walk into a big room and I see Kacey working.

"What ya doing here" she asks looking up from the file she was going through.

"Uhh just needed to talk to Max about something" I say as we walk into the break room.

"So what's up" he asks as we sit at the table.

"When I left the hospital, Clementines monitors had just started going ape shit." I begin to say.

"Shes ok though right, I mean we would have been notified if this were now a homicide investigation" Max says taking out a notebook to take notes.

"Its what happened before that that I think is important" I say fiddling with my jacket sleeve again.

"What happened Jaden" Max asks.

"Baylee Benson" I say when he interrupts

"Her ex" Max says angrily. "Never really liked the dude"

"He came to visit.'I just wanted to make sure she was ok. I'm glad shes fine' I quote. Then he asked if I liked her. And ya I think I do. The whole interaction with him was weird to begin with. But when he left she said 'Jaden is he gone, please is he gone'" I start to say tears coming to my eyes.

"You think he did it" Max asks.

"Or was involved in some way" I reply.

"We will look into it. Thanks for coming by. We really appreciate it" Max says as we stand up and I head out.

Clementine- taking a break from music to focus on what makes me happy. After almost dying I realize life is to short, gotta do what makes you happy, live in the moment, dont worry about what you gotta do 10 minutes from now cause you might not have that long.

Thank you to jadenhossler and imgriffinjohnson for being by my side through my recovery, especiallywhen you didnt have too. Ily both so much.

I was finally able to go places. However I was still afraid that whoever did this would come back.

"Hey Clem" my riding buddy Sara says as I walk into the stable.

"What's up" I ask as I head to the horse I rides stall.

Her name is Artimes.

"You gonna trick today" she asks.

"Yep" I reply getting Artimes's gear.

I get home and take Kota out for a walk.

We sit on a bench at the park with a lake where I just stare out at the ducks swimming by.

"Can I pet your dog" a young boy no older that 7 asks walking up to kota and I.

"Sure go ahead. Shes friendly" I say as the boy strokes her muzzle.
