A day had past since I found out about Baylee cheating on me.

What people dont know is that its happened before.

In the night hours

Thoughts of you consume" I sing while crying, it's a song I never released after the first time he cheated on me, which led to me writing it.

God heartbreak sucks

I sat on the hardwood floor of the studios recording booth, just crying my ass off.

"Clem" a voice says causing me to be snapped out of my thoughts.

"Get the fuck out of my studio. I never wanna see or talk to you again" I say with a raised voice.

"Clem let me explain" Baylee says lunging towards me, grabbing me by the throat.

"You . . . you hurtin . . . hurting me" I say in between gasps of air.

He drops me and I fall to the floor.

"What do you want?" I ask while trying to get air to continue to flow into my lungs.

"Why dont you get it. I want you, stupid bitch" he says throwing a glass vase of fake flowers at me.

Next thing I know it's all gone black.

Clementine told me she'd be at the studio, and Oliver and I thought we'd surprise her with food.

"Thanks for hanging out with me" Oliver says as I continue driving.

We walk in and all I hear is Oliver scream.

"Hand me my phone" he says tears threatening to spill from his eyes.

- Kacey Simmons -

"Hey Ollie what's up, is everything ok?" I ask answering a call from my brother while sitting at my desk in the police station I work at.

My whole unit stops and looks at me. 

"No K, someone attacked Clem. You need to get down to the studio now. Please hurry. It's not looking good" Ollie says.

"Ollie is she breathing?" I ask making eye contact with my sergeant.

"I checked for her pulse too and yeah. Shes just unconscious and theres a lot of blood. Jaden called Griffin and he's here now. I. . . don't know what to do. The paramedics arent here yet" he rambles.

"Ollie I'm on my way can you get back on the phone with a 911 operator and find out when that ambulance is gonna get there? I promise I'm on my way, I'm actually headed your way ok" I say.

"Ok see you soon" Ollie says as he hangs up the phone.

"You ok Simmons?

"Someone attacked my sister Clementine" I respond walking out of the bull pen.

- Oliver Willows -

Jaden, Griffin and I are in the waiting room, where we are sitting waiting to hear news about Clementine.

"How is she" Kacey asks walking in with her unit.

"We dont know" I say holding back tears as I get up and give her a hug.

"Sarge we are getting the security footage sent to Monica back at the district for her to go over with Benny" Kaceys partner Max says walking over to us.

"Family of Clementine Willows" a nurse calls as we all look in that direction.

"That's us" Kacey says as the nurse walks over to us.

"Shes ready for visitors. Please only a few of you at a time" she says.

"I'm gonna go back to the district and we are gonna work on this. Keep me updated please" Kacey says as Griffin, Jaden and I walk with the nurse to Clementines room.

"So what happened?" Griffin asks.

"Whoever's responsible, a few larger pieces of the glass got lodged into her back when she fell, which caused her to lose a lot of blood in turn losing consciousness as a result" the doctor says. "But the good news is she should be awake by tomorrow, that's at the latest"

With that he walks away.

Oliver had fallen asleep on the couch in the room and Griffin had gone home to get some sleep.

"How is she" someone asks.

"Uhh shes doing ok" I say looking up from holding her hand. "Who are you"

"Uh I'm Baylee her ex" the guy says. "I just wanted to make sure she was ok. I'm glad shes fine"

"Me too" I say.

"Do you like her?" Baylee asks.

"Even though we met not that long ago I think I do" I reply.

"Take care of her then" he replies kinda annoyed before walking out.

That was so weird.

"Jaden" I hear her say groggily "is he gone, please is he gone"

With that her monitors go crazy.
