Hosptial Beds - AdamAndriel
There's nothing to do here
Some just whine and complain
In bed at the hospital
"Its cold, yet warm." That was spoken of nothing but a mumble, from a boy name Adam, sent into the hospital for crazy dreams that where deemed hallucinations by doctors. He couldn't do anything when he was 'thrown' in here, as he explained it. They weren't harsh or mean to him, rather, he just didn't want to be here in this lonely room when he could be with his brothers, Sam and Dean, and father out hunting deer or something, but he couldn't in here. He didn't like it, but he was stuck, he could at least get someone to room in white sanitary room with him.
"Adam, it's time for you medicine, then you can go to the lounge." He looked up at the nurse. She was young, with bright read head and a perky tone and smile, he hated it and her. She could go and have fun anywhere in the world, and she never seemed to shut up or be normal. It was sickening to him.
"Alright, Charlie. Give it to me already." He held out his palm as she put a little white cup with the medication in it in his hand. 3 pills, one white with pink spots in an oval, one orange and more circular, and one clear with a blue liquid that could be mistaken for NightQuil, shaped as an oval. He took it straight from the paper cup as if doing a shot, the best way he found to them personally.
He swung his legs over and stretched out his body, leaning forewords, backwards, and side to side to get out all the cramps and creaks, he hadn't left his bed since this morning when he had to use the bathroom. That's how his routine stayed: laying in bed until he had to eat, taking his pills and go to the lounge, go back to his room after an hour or two, eat lunch, lay about or play on his DS, iPad or phone, eat dinner, lay about more then sleep, only getting up for the bathroom - except when his father and brothers visited. Then he would go to lounge and talk and talk with them, sometimes getting a treat Dean would sneak in sometimes, like burgers or shakes. Those days he got a little more spunky then usual, more so to the doctors and nurses amusement.
He made his way to lounge, glancing for wall to wall and place to place, trying to lose the nurse if he could, he was known for trying to get out time to time. His father just laughed and told him to keep trying, as if this was all a test, but he wouldn't know. Sam would scold him and say they were just trying to help him get better so he needed to stay. Dead would just be Dean. Smile, pat his back, then saw some shitty remark.
"Mr. Winchester, please move out of the way." It was a doctor who called him out. As he turned he something new, a boy, one who looked around his age but was a bit smaller and new. New was important to him, he wasn't alone then, if he was placed in his room. He was a young boy, that wore a plain wrinkled red t-shirt, scuffed and dirtied black jeans and fade black converse with white laces. His hair was shaggy and fit his facial features nicely.
"Who's that?" He spoke the words before he thought, not that he cared or anything though. He just rather think things before he said it, that's how he always though to go.
"This is Samandriel Novak, and he will be joining you from now one." Finally, someone to be with. No more lonely nights. His prayers were answered, or rather his wishes, he wasn't much of prayer as he lost his faith in God long ago.
Coming and going
Asleep and awake
In bed at the hospital
Tell me the story
Of how you ended up here
I've heard it all in the hospital
"So, Samandriel, how did you end up in a place like this?" It was dark now and they were alone in there room. Dinner was long over and the lights were all shut off, so it was just them in there dark room. The moon was eliminating the room perfectly so they could see each other perfectly. Samandriel had gotten settle in no time, as if he was right at home which was odd.
When Adam had come in he had fought back, throwing punches and kicks every which way, screaming he wasn't crazy, that he was just dreaming. It hurt that his own family would check him into the psych ward, but there claim was they were just worried for him because he was hurting himself -he didn't stay mad long, once he was old enough he was just going to leave anyway-. He wasn't though, he was just waking up with bruised and cuts every morning and after every night, there was no way he would do them to himself. Not only where they too deep, but he only ever had access to weapons when hunting, other then that they were kept in got knows where.
"I can't feel pain, and I want to. So I kept hurting myself till I thought I could, but I actually just passed out. I also was having these, 'hallucinations' ,as they doctor and my brother call it. So they checked me in." Adam couldn't help but chuckle a but at him, that was why they were put together.
"What kind of hallucinations?" Adam tilted his head as he asked. He was rather interested in me since his time here, and he wanted to see if anywhere like his. So far, no one had ones like him.
"I'm an angel in it, but I inhabit a body, and my brother, Castiel is in it too. He works with these two people, named Sam and Dean Winchester," Adam felt his eyes widen, they were exactly like his, "and he helps him. Though he will only come when Dean prays for him, and I'm tortured constantly by a guy named Crowley. When I wake up, I'm covered in cuts, bruises, burn and marks all over me. I don't...I don't know why or remember doing them to myself." Adam found himself pitying Samandriel for going through what he was, but he also didn't. It was weird to him but he would just live with it or try to change it, but living with it would just be easier for him.
"We're gonna get along just find then, Samanny. Mine are actually a lot like yours." Samandriel looked up at him and tilted his head, some confusion written in his face but relief in his eyes. He could finally have someone who understood him then, someone who would actually understand him for once, his struggle was over now. This didn't mean he didn't have some questions of his own though.
"So, can you explain your hallucinations?" The Winchester was a bit taken from the question's straightforwardness, but he quickly but on a smirk. This would be fun to explain.
"I'm needed as a weapon for heaven but I start doing some stupid shit so I don't have to be. Sam and Dean are my half brothers, as they are now but we don't hunt dear in these hallucinations. We hunt demons, vampires, werewolves and other things. I'm mostly forgotten so I do my own thing, but Castiel is there too. I saw him whenever I was helping my brothers out. He was very uptight." Samandriel seemed very intune with the story, and listened to every detail as he spoke -even more then the therapists- something quite nice.
"That does sound like mine." Adam nodded, lacing his fingers behind his neck and leaned back into his bed. He was glad they were like his.
"That's what I said. Let's just stick together then, alright?" Out of the corner of his eye, he say the boy nod in approval. He felt blissful for it, but he just noticed how tired he was. "Well, goodnight Samanny."
"Good night, Adam." After that, both drifted off into a peaceful slumber.

"So, Adam, care to introduce us to your new friend?" Adam rolled his eyes at his older brother, completely ignoring him as he was talking to Samandriel before they had strolled in. There father wasn't with them, he left the day before to go on a hunting trip alone, which was understandable.
"And what's with the nurses? Why and what are they freaking out about?" It was Sam who had spoken now, dressed in his usual dark t-shirt, blue flannel, blue jeans and hiking boots. He really seemed to live a life of comfort more then anything at times, or at least that's how Adam saw it.
"I'm Samandriel Novak and the nurses aren't freaking out, but rather overworking. For some reason, all the doctors left for some tour or something, we don't really know." One Winchester snorted, one nodded in understanding, and the youngest just rolled his eyes at the boy, thought not out anger but rather playful way. He was more happy then anything that he finally made a friend, so he couldn't stay made long.
"Thanks, I'm Sam and this is my brother Dean." Samandriel glanced at Adam, then back at the older boys and smiled at them, like any sane and kind person would do. He didn't care much about first impressions, but he was a bit shy and nurses were watching. The less insane and more normal he acted, the faster he got out, at least that's what Adam told him to do and he believed him.
"It's nice to meet you. So, your last name is Novak?" Both of them turned to glance at the him in confusion. "I know you brother, Castiel. Good guy." Samandriel smiled, nodding at him in agreement, the youngest Winchester just shook his head and glanced down towards the ground, wish they would just leave already.
"When did you get in here Samandriel?" Here they go with questions, just like they always did and Adam was pretty tired of them doing this, it annoyed him honestly. They did it when he was a kid and they did now ever since his mother passed, as he would would be murdered too even if he knew how to fully take care and defend himself. He wasn't mad though, he was just annoyed and wish it would stop. He loved his brothers and father but they got a little out if hand sometimes.
"I got here last Tuesday, why?" Dean smiled softly at himself, nodding.
"That explains Cas then. He was a bit in the edge and didn't seem himself." The Novak seemed a bit caught off guard by that statement, as he froze a bit and it seemed to Adam that he didn't expect his brother to act that way.
"Does that surprise you?"
"A bit actually. Castiel was the one who had me admitted here and he didn't seem to care much when he did, but he has always been like that so I shouldn't be surprised." Dean nodded at him, feeling some pity for him but it quickly disappeared as it appeared. This boy probably new Cas better then anyone so he didn't want to pity him or make it look like being with Castiel was a bad thing, it really want but he could be a bit monotone at times.
"Hey, don't worry. We'll survive here without them, even if we most likely will never recover from this." Adam chuckled as he said it, but he knew it was true, even if the others laughed he was scared it was true, that no one would think he was sane so he would always be stuck here, but no longer alone.
With Samandriel here, he had someone to talk to here and he was his first friend in a really long time if he was come plate honest. After they moved, he had a really hard time making friends as everyone thought he was weird for the all the scars and spasms he would have. There were also the social statuses that took over his school and he didn't fit in well to any of them so he just did his own thing after that. It didn't help that Sam had quite college to take care of him sine Dean and his father were always out hunting or doing something else, that clouded his minded from time to time and he felt responsible for it even if he wasn't, but most of the time he was made at them for making Sam do that and mad at Sam for doing it in general. It was his last year in law school, and he blew it for him.
Maybe, being checked into the hospital wasn't such a bad thing after all, and he should's seen it earlier, his way his family didn't have to worry, but why did it take some new person bringing admitted and rooming with him to realize it? Was it because he was so focus on getting out at that he never thought about it clearly? Was it that Samandriel would always talk about things he never thought to think all the way through? Or was it that simply the Novak made his at peace, and he wasn't talking about love, but made him happy like having a best friend? Yea, that definitely was it, he was like his best friend and if he left, he wouldn't have that anymore.

"Hey Samanny, what are you reading?" They were in there room, doing what ever as they please since they had birth faked a nap, thanks to Adam's idea. They didn't want to go outside to to the lounge as it was a bit cold and going outside meant having be watched more carefully then usually, so they faked a nap to play hooky.
"It's a book about supernatural creatures. Ever since I had those dreams I got curious and my brother gave me this book before he left as sort of an apology I think. It's actually really good." The Winchester nodded at him, returning to his game as he really didn't know how to continue the conversations since he seemed rather engulfed in the book.
Adam never was on to read books but somehow he was able to know so many things that would have to come from books. The only times he would read was for homework and when the giant forced him too, which he just pretended to do while he played on his phone and is amused him to watch his brother freak out and get mad at him. He didn't care though, and neither did his father seem to much either so life went on smoothly, and he still nearly read but somehow had so much information with him.
"What are you playing?" Adam looked up and jumped, seeing as Samandriel had somehow appeared right next to to his side in an interval of thirty seconds. He nearly jumped out of bed if he handed grabbed the side of it.
"Jesus Samandriel! Don't do that!" He sat back up and looked at him, glaring before shaking his head and rolling his eyes. "And I'm playing Pokémon White." The smaller boy nodded and leaned over the larger one's shoulder to watch him play, it had intrigued him anyway was never one to play video games, and he stayed standing until Adam moved to the side of his bed making room for him and motioning for him to join him in bed. The wonder filled boy hoped in next to the gamer and continued watching him, until they really got sleepy.
"Hey Adam?" He asked, as said boy put his DS away and pulled the blanket over them, obviously not caring if they were sharing a bed.
"Yes Samanny?" He turned on his side as he laid down to face him so they could talk face to face, but he could tell it wouldn't last long as tiredness was clearly written on the light blonde's face, so he would fall asleep soon.
"Can you promise me something?" His eyes dropped a bit as the Winchester sat up a but and nodded. He was always very good at keeping promises towards others and he would really work extra hard to keep this one, no matter what it was.
"Yea, what is it?"
"Will you stay with me if we get let out? Or even if we don't recover?" Adam smiled softly to himself as he laid down fully next to him.
"Yea, of course. I promise." He then felt tiredness take over, and his eyes dropping do he fell asleep.

Then Adam woke up. Samandriel wasn't here, his body was in hell, and his soul he didn't know.
The worst of it all, was that he couldn't keep his promise.
