Chapter 3:Liddya's POV
"This is the third time we have met up and we literally haven't gotten anything done." I glare at Aurora, completely ignoring Zac and Jonathan.
"Then do it yourself. " Zac so kindly responds with.
"I don't write music. If I did, this would already be done."
"Well I'm kinda okay with lyrics... But I can't write a tune for my life." Aurora says uncomfortably. Zac glances at her.
"Well that's still good." Zac surprises us all. Aurora just stares at him. Zac shrugs it off.
"Well I can make parts for different instruments." Jonathan adds.
"Liddya is good at telling what goes good together and stuff."
"I like writing tunes." Says Zac uncharacteristically shy.
"Well we are all set then!" Exclaims Aurora.
"Not yet. What will the song be about?" I ask. Knowing Aurora it will be inappropriate in some way. Aurora sighs and looks down.
"I have no idea."
"Well have you written any yet?" Zac asks.
"Kinda." She admits.
"Well let's see them." Jonathan says. Zac frowns. Aurora wordlessly opens the notes on her phone. She seems really unconfident and that's not the Aurora I know. She reads it out loud in a flat tone. It sounds okay, like it'll get us a good grade, but it has no feeling. Like in Aurora's own words, a crappy pop song. What happened to wanting to be pop punk?
"I can write a new song though. Just put on a song that has whatever mood you want it to have." Aurora shrugs and Zac looks at her in awe. I ship it.
