Everyone made it to the old, abandoned train station, it's really messed up around here, dust is everywhere.

"Finally, we made it here." - Durandal saying while wiping her sweats out of her neck, with a dirty piece of cloth.

"What is this place?" - Kiana asked as she looks around and saw some big ass spiders in the corners, surrounded with spider webs.

"AH!!" - The Captain freaked out and jumped backwards.

"What's wrong? Captain" - Kiana rushes to the Captain and asks.

"No- the spider is too big. I'm scared of those." - The Captain saying to Kiana but his eyes are still following the spider on the wall.

"Enough of Spider talks, we have to move quick. Come back to where you guys came from." - Einstein telling them.

Everybody quickly finds a way to the surface. They went through the broken entrance of the station, they went outside as they saw some flying beasts flew over top of them, right to above the tunnel from before. They are gathering there, it is nice of the group for getting away from there.

The group stays quiet and moves carefully, but try to move as fast as possible, back to where they came from.

"It's lucky that this city is not that big, like the one that's away." - Durandal saying while leading the way out of the city.

"You mean the one that those beasts built a nasty hive?"

"Yeah. Except that it's not a hive." 

"Then what is it? Some sort of shelter?" - Kiana asked out of curiosity. 

"That's no different from a hive, Kiana." - Rita reply to her.

"That's like a bowl... Where those beasts bring the food back to their Queen." - Durandal respond to Kiana's question while keep looking for a way.

"Wait wait.. Like a what and bring the what to their what?" - Captain stops walking and asked out of confusion.

"... As I told you guys earlier. This world ended because of a beast, some Honkai beast that was created out of the Herrsschers' dying will. The hatred of the Herrschers created such a beast to end the war. But after the war ended it went out of control. And it destroyed the world after eliminating the strongest forces that protected mankind."

"A bowl, and food? What does it eat...?"

"This beast consume everything it can find... it can be humans, or even some small Honkai beasts. But it value one thing most." - Durandal saying. 

"What is it?"

"A Herrsher core."

"... Those still exist in this world?"

"Yes. But even I don't know where are those. But it consumed one, I don't remember which one was it but it grew stronger since. And I am afraid that it might enter the Sea of Quanta someday when all the cores are consumed."

"...."

Everybody remained silent until they reached the city's outskirts. They saw more and more beasts gathering around this city.

"They are here, to hunt us down, to feed their Queen." -Durandal saying as she looked up. "It won't be simple to leave this city without getting noticed." 

"....." - The Captain think of an idea, he quickly dirty himself with the red sands on the ground. "Most honkai beasts have poor visions. They can't see well unless it's obvious as the Sun in the sky."

"Smart thinking, I often does that too. Works everytime unless if there are too many of them around." - Durandal said then she do the same.

The other two hesitated a little but do it anyways, dirty themselves to camouflage. Everybody starting to move slowly on the ground after that. 

"Is this really okay...?" - Kiana asked as she is scared of being discovered.

"Don't worry, those beasts on the ground are gathered back in my hideout, and for those flying on the skies... to their eyes we're just some rocks on the ground." - Durandal calming Kiana down with those words. 

After nearly 15 minutes of moving, the group is almost there, they can see the corpse of the Honkai beast from earlier. 

"Just around 100 meters and we're back... We have to be careful." - Captain saying while he's looking around, to make sure nothing is around.

Everything in the sight it clear, aside from the corpse, and those beasts flying on the skies, there are really no Honkai beasts nearby.

"Okay. We're moving." - The Captain gives the order out then starts to move, behind him are the girls following.

Suddenly, the Captain's right foot which goes first got sank down the sand, he tried to pull it on but he can't, something's holding his leg very tight, and it's pulling him down. 

"This is..."

"Captain!" - Kiana grabs his shirt and tries to pull him up before he go down, and Rita uses her scythe to thrust it down the sand, and kill whatever is pulling the Captain down. 

Some blood sticks to Rita's scythe as she pull it back up, there was indeed some creature dragging him down. 

"Are you alright?" -  Kiana asked her Captain as he just got a heart attack from it. 

The Captain wipes the worry out of his face while a smile. 

"I- I'm alright, but what was that?"

"I forgot to tell you guys this. There were Honkai beasts that adapted to the ocean areas, they can even change the structure of their own body to make them look like squids, or crabs to move underwater. Since 30% of the ocean water has been vaporized and most of the lands turned into deserts... There's no doubt that..."

From where the blood's coming out on the sand, a red, big claw slowly rises with a deep wound on it made by Rita. Slowly, a giant honkai creature looked like a scorpion rises from the sand in front of the group, the tail of it attacks Rita, she blocked the attack with her scythe, Kiana shot it, the bullet did penetrate the skin of it but the damage is too little.

"It's no use, it's too big, my guns can't do anything much to it."

"Stand back!" - Durandal shouted as she takes something out from her bag, it's a molotov cocktail, she lights it up and throw it to the beast after everyone take their step back.

The bottle broke and the liquid inside it spilled all over of the beasts, and it caught fire, causing the beast to fall into a panic state, it is going all over the place, and even trying to roll itself on the sand to put the fire off.

"That should scare it off for a bit, we have to move, fast!" - Durandal said.

Kiana noticed some shadows from afar can be seen on the surface of the sand, some flying beasts noticed them and are heading for the humans on the sand. Kiana aims carefully and taking them down one by one, then running away with the others.

The more they run, the more beasts are attracted to them, a big swarm of the beasts has started to move from the city, joining the hunt. There's no way those humans can survive if that swarm of beasts caught up to them. Luckily they are very close to their destination, just about 20 steps and they're ready to go.

"I'll open the portal now, you guys just need to hop in." - Einstein saying, a portal is slowly opening in front of them.

"There's our way home." - Kiana said as she shot the winged beasts down.

But another scorpion Honkai beast crush Kiana's words as it rises from the sand, get in between them and the portal. Rita leaped forward and inflicts heavy strikes on it, she's breaking through its thick shells and aims for the vital spot. The scorpion tries to hit Rita with its claw and the tail, but the Valkyrie swiftly dodges all the attacks, she has seen through all those simple moves.

Everyone has to find a way to get through the clash of those two.

More of those flying honkai creatures has entered the area, and they're going for all of them. Kiana can defend herself with her pistols, yet, The Captain and Durandal don't have things to take airborne enemies down. 

"I'm sending you some weapons, they are in your way to the portal." - Einstein saying as she types some codes, and sending a handgun with a sword to the Captain.

"Here!" - The Captain tosses the sword to Durandal.

Durandal catches it and draws its blade out, starting to take down those charged at her, Captain himself assisting Durandal from behind, taking down the enemies on the way as well.

Rita leaped forward and swing her scythe all around, all those weak enemies on the way got eliminated, she has opened a path for everyone else.

"Go now!" - Rita shouted as she got attacked by a tanky creature charged at her, which shoved her away from the portal.

"Rita!" - The Captain shouts, he wants to come over to Rita but the situation is too dangerous now, more and more beasts are coming.

"Not this time... She's not going away!" - Durandal yells angrily, charges forward then with her blade, she cut, stab all the creatures on her way, to rescue someone she failed to protect once. "I'm not letting you go." - Durandal said as she give a hand to help Rita backing up.

More arrived, Kiana and the Captain shoots some of them down, Durandal and Rita run through the enemy lines, back to the portal.

The Captain's handgun ran out of ammo, and there's no more magazines left.

"Crap."

He got pinned down by an airborne enemy charged straight down to him, he grunts as the beast's teeth penetrated through his chest. Kiana shoved it away with her foot, then shoots. She helps the Captain getting up, while slowly going back to the portal.

There's too many enemies around now, not sure if they can survive for any longer before getting to the portal or not. Kiana's guns almost out of ammo. Durandal blade is broken, Rita is injured a bit. Everything seems hopeless now.

In all of a sudden, every honkai creature near the area ran away, not in any specific direction, they all suddenly ran away, to many directions, like when some ants are collecting food and you just drop your naked feet in and the next second they all ran away... Except 20 of them going to bite your feet. Gosh.

Except that none of them stayed, all just ran away with no reasons. It left everyone else including Einstein and people on the Hyperion has been watching.

"What just... Happened?" - Kiana asked as she looks at those things running away as fast as they can.

"Oh no... It's here..." - Durandal grabs Rita as she hurrying to run to the portal.

"What the..." - The Captain looks up onto the sky, and he sees something. It's not just clouds only... There's something hidden in the clouds.

Something's glowing, he can see it, like seeing the moon on the clear sky at night... But he is seeing three of them through the clouds... Placed close to each other... From the distance, very far away, below those things, that very space in his sight that he thought it was just the sky... Suddenly moves?

It's like watching something great, immovable moving for the first time. Everyone looks at that too.

The moon like things on the clouds move quickly. The Captain and the rest stares at those things.

When the Captain stares at them, they stare back too. To everyone who's there.

"It's here! Go now! Or we all will die!"

Just a minute ago, the Captain still has the spirit of making out of here alive, but after witnessed something so great in front of his mortal eyes... He felt so tiny, so powerless, that his legs stopped moving, his arms let Kiana's arms go, his eyes, staring at the great being who is looking at him as well.

Kiana grabbed the Captain's shirt and throw him in the portal, after that, she jumped inside, following behind are Durandal and Rita.

Right when Durandal went inside the portal, the whole landscape they just left a second ago was completely destroyed. It didn't affect the portal, Einstein closed it after, so no one knew what happened.

Everyone else got back onto the Hyperion in one piece. The Captain is still in the shock.

"What the hell was that...?"

Durandal looked over to him with the same expression as him. They all just escaped death.

"Welcome back, everyone. And... Welcome to Hyperion, Durandal." - Theresa and some other people comes and greets the group. "It's nice to have you back."
