In the last year, some big events happened in the world. It all started with a small civil war within the Schicksal, of a branch trying to save their member from the Overseer's hands, others said it was some branches took an alliance with Anti Entropy to overtake Schicksal. Many said this, many said other. But in the end, the second herrscher that almost destroyed mankind in 2000 in Siberia has been revived, luckily, shortly after her awakening, she was contained once again, the "container" as they would call it, went disappeared.

Not long after that, like 2 months, the "container" which has been known as one of Schicksal's Valkyries has been spotted in the Arc City, a luxurious shelter of mankind. What she have done here is unknown, but there were many citizens saw her saving other people from certain Honkai creatures breaches into the city. She was a hero to them.

2 weeks later, journalists said they spotted some high ranking Schicksal's personnel coming to the Arc City, including the Overseer's granddaughter. What they were doing was unknown, but it's guessed that they are trying to capture the Valkyrie which is said to be contain the second herrscher.

It was a few days later, that night was, louder and more crowded for some reasons, many people were enjoying their time with their friends and family outsides, stores and supermarkets were filled with people. Then all of a sudden, there was something like a small Honkai Eruption occupied near the center of the city, taken many's lives away.

The Honkai infection spreads so fast, people collapsed after people. Women, men, children, elders, none were spared, the machines were deployed immediately and exterminated those who were in the affected radius. Powerful beasts emerged from the center of the explosion, it took a month to clean the infection up completely, but the destruction is done, almost 1/3 of the Arc City's population was wiped out.

Most leaders of the city was confirmed to be killed in the extermination as well. The authority system has been refreshed up after some elections, mostly involved Schicksal's agreement with some other organization of the city. The city was rebuilt after confirmed to be safe of Honkai, and Schicksal said they're still looking for the culprit did all of this, but still blaming on the "container" of the second herrscher, and still asking for everyone to look for her.

But the city has changed, a lot from before. It's now not only threatened of Honkai, but the number of crimes has skyrocketed up after the new leaders was elected. The Police Department reduced it at some level, but still, they can't interfere all of it with the power backing up all those illegal actions.

From all of that, the "container" has stood again, to protect this city and exterminate the evil from its roots. And now, here she is, standing on top of a building in a raining night, in front of her is a mysterious person.

She can't see the opponent well, he has covered his face. Plus it's in the middle of the night, with the clouds in the skies has covered the moon and its lights.

"Who are you?" – Kiana asked.

"Oh... You really are a girl." – The opponent saying, he's got a deep male voice, but Kiana can kinda guess he made it deep intentionally, looking at his body shape, which is not really buff, she takes a guess that he's young, around 20. "How about you. A girl saving the people in this city?"

"..." – Kiana doesn't respond, she continues to stare at the opponent.

"Don't look at me like that, I just helped you beaten up these robbers." – The man saying, while still trying to catch his breath. "You should have let me handled."

"If I hadn't stepped in, you would have killed them." – Kiana saying.

"At least they are not dead. Yet."

From the man's words, Kiana can assume his hand have been stained with blood before, this makes him a killer, nothing different from her currently, she continue to ask some questions.

"I've noticed the cases like this these days, I assume it was your doing? The warehouse assault 3 days ago, more than 23 thugs was injured badly, and over 20 tons of weapons was supposed to be transported to the other cities illegally. Bank robbery, which was stopped before it happened, police found a van parked in the middle of the street in the morning, all 5 people inside it was beaten up badly. And now this... You take the actions once per day?" – Kiana asked.

"Hahaha" – The man chuckled a bit. "Spare me please, I am no Valkyrie with those super strength and stanima, I get exhausted after running for 30 minutes straight. I am just an ordinary human."

"But the warehouse assault's results said otherwise."

"Well, sneaking is a thing, ever heard of it?"

".."

Now Kiana think of it again, the man did mentioned something close to her, but it slipped right past through her mind from his mouth just a second ago.

"Valkyrie?"

"... Heh. You confirmed it for me, B-rank Valkyrie, Kiana Kaslana, a fellow student at the St. Freya Academy." – The man telling Kiana her name, and some basic informations of her. "Others' wouldn't have brought it up, but you noticed it."

"How'd you know-"

"Well it was simple, after beating up all these thugs and stealing some valuable information from some of the Serpent's cyborgs."

"... What do you want?"

"Well, the van incident, you missed something, I left a card behind, like those that businessman always carry around, I written the White Knight on it." – The man saying. "I was beating up some other thugs as well."

Kiana figured out what does the man want.

"You wanted to take over my identity?"

"No no, not your identity, but your... Well, you know, your nickname, your heroic status of protecting the people in this city." – The man saying.

"Does it benefit you in a way if you do so?"

"No, not for me. I don't enjoy beating them up, but this does benefit you in a way."

"What are you talking about?"

"Maybe you'll have to figure out yourself." – The man said then he rushes to the edge, and jumped off the building.

Kiana chases after him, but when she looks down, he was already gone.

"... Benefit?" – Kiana mumbling.

The next day.

"Next time, kid." – The thug waving his hand in front of a young police officer, as his hands got uncuffed by his senior.

"..."

The cops can only watch these two robbers who were beaten up last night picked up by their friends.

"I don't get this shit! There were proper evidence that they were against the laws!" – The young cop shouts, as he throws his hat down to the ground and stomp on it many times.

"Relax kid." – The senior cop put a hand on his shoulder.

"How am I supposed to relax? I signed up to be a peace protector in this city, and this is the best we can do? Arresting these thugs and then let them go the day after?"

"We all get what you wanted to do, kid, but keep your voice low, the young people like you are valuable for the future, but they can get rid of you as easy as killing ants." – The senior cop saying, as he walks back to his desk, taking his hat off and enjoying the coffee in the morning.

But it seems that the young cop still hasn't calm down at all, he walks outside furiously. "I'm going out!"

"Kids these days." – Another old police officer comes and sit down on a wooden chair in the station. "They get no patience."

"But that's a good thing, they know to talk about Justice and stuffs like that, better than those who thinks harming others to gain benefits for themselves." – The senior cop saying.

"So? Did you met her? The protector of this city?"

"Well, can't say I did. That was someone else."

"Someone else?"

"Yeah, the Knight has been reported that she always carry an umbrella around and using it as a weapon, her attacks on the thugs are always in the vital joints so she can immobilize her opponents without causing much damage. But... Last night, those two was beaten up badly, possibly could have died if we didn't arrive sooner."

"... Another one, you say? Another protector?"

"I don't know if it's going to be a protector... Or a destroyer?"

At some abandoned blocks, which are suspected to be some criminal organizations' hideout. Not even the cops have the permission to get inside this area, because the Sheriff is their men as well, was planted inside the police department of this city so they can easily take control of the Arc City.

The thugs are having a meeting.

"And the weapons will be transported to our corporates in the Salt Lake city." – A thug reporting to the others, as himself reading the words printed on a paper.

"About the share?"

"As usual, those work harder earns more."

"Good."

"But may I remind some of you about stuffs... That we all have skipped it throughout the entire meeting." – One of the thugs saying, as he put his hands on the table and looking to everyone else in the same room.

"Go on."

"It's the White Knight."

"Come on Dave, we already agreed that a single little knight can't harm us."

"You sure? When did we agree on it?"

"2 weeks ago."

"And now I think we must reconsider on taking her seriously or not, many of our men has been sent 6 foot deep down already, while many more are still in the hospitals, some of them are won't be able to come back to work again." – The thug named Dave saying.

"Well, last time, before we agreed, you said the same thing, everyone thought carefully too, but we didn't get the chance to agree taking her on seriously because the bosses told us not to, they said we are big enough, no need to worry if we lose a limb or two."

"Screw the bosses! They always see us as their meatshields, so do the White Knight, we are all just pawns on the table, waiting to be eliminated, after that, there's no after that. So that's why the pawns must act before they got rid off."

"Well, let's say the pawns are in danger because of the... Knight. But what can we do? It's very difficult for us to take down the Knight by ourselves."

"By ourselves? Yes, but don't worry, I've spent lots of money to hire someone... He's going to help us on taking down the Knight." – Dave saying.

"Oh, who is it then?" – The thugs asked.

"You'll know soon, he's on his way."

In the noon, it is the perfect time for Kiana to take a rest, after wandering around the city, it was a busy morning with more and more thugs threatening the peace of this place. She sat on the roof of a building and cooking some instant noodle in a cup.

She waits for the noodles to be ready. But she feels sad, even though it's her favorite food for a meal.

"... It's still instant noodles... Just... Noodles after noodles..." – She said as she looks to her right. "..."

"There would be you... Fu Hua, who always tells me to eat something else to have more nutrients..." – She said as she closes her eyes. "..."

"Kiana-chan! Dinner's ready!"

"Idatakimatsu!!!!!!"

Kiana said it happily and take the chopsticks, grabbing some food, which was made by Mei. Even her simple meal can remind her of the precios memories, the moments which she can never return to.

Those days are long gone... Forever, things will never be back to normal. And, it hurts her mentally, whenever these memories coming back, as seeing the faces of her loved ones, the worst memories of her, that is related to them showed up in her mind as well.

"You cannot keep me in here forever... Kiana, you know it... The Serpent, The Schicksal, all are your enemies now... Why do you keep on protecting these strangers? To cope with your failure?" – Herrscher of the Void's voice, take the chance when Kiana is depressed, to whisper to her ears.

"Shut up! I will never give up!"

"The day when the seal is over... I will kill you personally, Kiana, until the time come, I will gladly accepting to sit in here... And see you struggle against your inevitable fate..." – Herrscher of the Void's voice fades, after she finishes the sentence.

"..."

The noodle is ready, Kiana sob a bit while eating.

Afternoon, at some company's building, some workers are loading some big packages onto the truck. They're in the buildings' underground car parking area.

"I wonder what does the boss asked us to carry this time... These shits are too heavy man." – One of the workers saying, as he's struggling carrying a big package with some other people.

"Just shut up and do the work man, for some reasons these same packages recently can get us paid more than before."

They loaded the last of the packages onto the truck.

"All done sir, ready to move." – One of the workers contacting his boss through a cellphone. "...?" – The worker checks his phone, seeing that there is no phone signal.

The lights in the area all goes off at the same time.

"Hey who turns off the lights-"

With very little lights coming in from the entrance to the parking area, the workers could tell there is someone moving really fast among them, the mysterious figure is knocking every worker down one by one.

"What the-"

None of the workers were able to react to the figure, they all collapsed within seconds, as the light goes back on, it is the man from earlier who had a face to face conversation with Kiana, the guy who intends on taking the White Knight name.

"Sorry boys, something's smelling too fishy here, gonna check your license for that." – The man said as he walks towards the truck, and checking the packages, behind the normal cardboard layer, is a metal crate that is protected by some computer locks. "Shit, I didn't study enough IT for this."

He tried to break the locks by typing some random letters and numbers, the moment he pressed the Enter button, the box opened and tons of metal wires wrapped around him instantly, making him unable to move at the moment, as he's still processing on what's happening, from the other packages, some small humanoid cyborgs emerged and pinned the man down to the floor.

"Shit, a trap?" – The man grunts as he tries to get up, but as he said, he's just a normal human, he isn't strong enough to withstand that many cyborgs, not to mention his mobility is surpressed.

One of the cyborgs injected something into him from his nape, he is slowly losing his consciousness, as his vision begins to turn dark, he hears footsteps.

"Finally we've captured her, it took us quite much time and patience to capture her- Wait, this isn't K4----" – The last words the man heard before he passed out. It was a woman's voice.

At night. It was raining again, but not so heavy as last night, at the airport, an airplane has just landed, one of the persons that was on it, is the 'friend' that the thug from earlier has mentioned, the one that will help them deal with the White Knight.

The thugs were waiting in front of the airport, until they see a group of men and women walking towards them.

"You work for him?" – One of the thugs asks the group.

"..." – A female in the group showed them a cellphone, which is currently calling to someone.

"Dave... My old friend." – A voice, that is possibly modified by a voice changer can be heard.

"Was wondering how did you came here so late, you prepared some of your men? Should've said earlier, so we could have brought a bus, there's not enough places for everyone here." – The thug, named Dave happily saying to the phone.

"I have to make sure no one knows about my identity, even if you're my old friend." – The voice saying.

"So wait, you didn't came here?"

"I came actually, I am one of the people that was on the plane, it is very hard to tell, I can be anyone. I am not observing you guys, I would be going into the city and find myself a nice hotel by now."

"Wh-"

"This is recorded, the voice you're hearing. If you wish to tell me more about the matter that concerns your business, call me when you got my men back to your hideout." – The voice said, then the record ends.

"... Was that..." – One of the thugs asks.

"Yeah, he still hasn't changed at all, always being extra cautious and being ahead of everyone with the words and the actions. He will be very effective against the little hero of this city." – Dave saying. "Let's get them back to our place!"

Midnight, as usual, Kiana is still staying up and observing a failed attempted of some dudes transporting drugs by the car, that were spotted by the police. She is just observing, not doing anything.

"..."

Kiana is waiting for the man to show up, it has been 5 different cases that was all stopped by the cops and some normal citizens in time, but there's no sign of the man at all.

"..."

She drops down to the ground, and sneak to the police's car while they're away, checking the communicating channels to check if there's any incident at all.

"..."

There was none at the moment, she quickly leaves as soon as she sees the cops return. And decided to call it a day. Heading back to her hideout.

The moment she entered the abandoned room, she sensed something unusual, which is a girl standing in front of the window, gazing at the beautiful moon on the skies, before it was covered by the clouds again.

"..." s

"My god, and here I was asking myself that how long it will take for you to return..." – The girl puts the coat on, and covers her head with the hood, then turning around to Kiana, it is Raven.

"... Raven."

"Did you missed me? Jackal told me to do some missions outside of this city, how long has it been? A year already?"

"You better go now, or else..." – Kiana said as she slowly moves her hand to her back, where she is hiding the umbrella.

"How coincidence, my new mission when I first returned to this city, was to capture you." – Raven pulls out her dagger in an instant and tosses it to Kiana.

Kiana dodged it immediately, then she takes the umbrella out, aims it at Raven and take a shot, she missed the shot because she has to dodge again, not because of a dagger, but because Raven has pulled her bow out as well.

"You've gotten faster." – Raven said with a smile on her face, looking down to a hole on her coat.

"Or you've gotten slower?"

"Hah, now I guess I know why Jackal won't let me go alone on this mission... Cyborgs, exist Quantum States." – Raven said, as 2 cyborgs suddenly appeared from the thin air in the close distance to Kiana.

Kiana was surprised but acted in time, she took all 2 of them down in seconds, and then blocked an attack in the close distance from Raven, who has take her advantage and rushed towards Kiana, the hand-to-hand battle of the two begins, Kiana got all the advantages except for the surprise element, as Raven is tossing some smoke bombs as the fight goes on.

"Did you know? Jackal has been ordered by Sire to capture you, she used some baits but you didn't catch it!" – Raven saying as she disappeared into the smokes, Kiana rushes outside the building, and dropping herself down, looking back and sees Raven is going down as well. "Hmphm, clever girl. But I still have more."

"I don't think that's going end well, I didn't know about the trap and you told me, Jackal would be upset."

"I don't think so, although you somehow didn't fall into the traps, but she've captured someone else by the time I returned." – Raven saying.

"What?"

Kiana trying to hold her surprise back inside.

"Well, she believed it was a young man, who was trying to do the same like you. Protecting the city I suppose?" – Raven saying, as the smokes begins to surround both of them again.

"It can't be..." – Kiana thinks of that young man again.

"Too bad for you, Jackal also thinks of using him to lure you to another trap as well!" – Raven appeared behind her, going to attack her.

3 void portals opened around Raven, the lances goes through them and almost stabbed Raven, she breaks a sweat and has to stand still, as she realized more and more void portals are opening around them.

"You... Have finally controlled the Herrscher of the Void's power?" – Raven asked in surprising, Kiana turns around and points a gun to her throat. She revealed to Raven

"What is Jackal going to do with him if I don't show up?"

"What now, making new friends already? I didn't recall-"

As Raven didn't answer her question, Kiana put the gun closer to her throat, forcing her on answering.

"Okay okay, maybe some experiments again you know, they have been creating more artificial stigmas, and they required more and more testing subjects, so I think sooner or later, he will have for himself a stigma." – Raven was forced to answer.

The silence goes on for a few seconds as Kiana slowly taking back her gun, and the lances pulling themselves back into the portals, the portal closes after as well.

"..."

"..."

"What are you going to do now Kiana? Even I now can shoot an arrow to your back without you being able to do anything." – Raven said as she pulls the string of her bow, aiming directly at Kiana who is lost in her thoughts.

"But you are not allowed to kill me, Jackal required me to stay untouched, if you don't obey, then no matter the reason, the children of yours are going to be in danger, right?" – Kiana asked her back.

"... You're right. Even though I've hidden them somewhere else, but with the Sire's network, they're not going to be safe." – Raven puts her bow away. "I will ask it again, what are you going to do now? You no longer have any more allies, enemies are everywhere."

"Capture me then, fulfill your mission."

"And I can't go back empty handed, and I surely don't want to risk my life against the Herrscher of the Void if she managed to awaken again." – Raven saying while scratching her hair, but then she processed the words of Kiana. "What?"

"Jackal wanted me right?"

"That right but... What?"

This story took me quite much time, jk I just got lazy, i suddenly finished this chapter in 2 day, probably because i am interested in this one most. Anyways I will try and update this story again in this week.
