"A post apocalypse world. First try. Dammit." - The Captain seems disappointed as he kicks at the sand.

"Well.. What now Captain?"

"Your orders please. If you want I can get you three back into the Hyperion right away." - Einstein saying.

"... Well we're here. So why don't explore a little bit. Beside, what if there are survivors?" - Captain saying and take a look around, aside from this post apocalypse scenario, he sees nothing else. "The city, nope. Let's go somewhere else to explore."

"If you go, mark where you are standing with something easy to be noticed by you, Captain." - Einstein saying.

"Why is that?"

"I can only open the portal to send you back to the Quantum Realm at a certain spot, from where you entered. Opening another portal at another place requires more than you think and it is beyond my ability for now."

"Oh okay. Something easy to notice..." - Captain looks over to Kiana who is already crouching down to do something. "Kiana?"

"How about this, Captain?" - Kiana stands on and let the other two take a look.

She just wrote 'Kiana was here' on the sand.

"... Well.. Easy to notice. But it will be hard to notice on this plain desert." - Captain saying then looks around. "Any idea, Rita?"

Rita shaking her head.

Then suddenly a winged honkai beast flew across them, and noticed the three. It glides back and prepare to attack.

"An enemy!"

"Don't worry Captain, I got this." - Kiana saying, simply handled it with only a shot.

"Okay that's... It?" - Captain looking at the dead beast on the ground.

"Yeah, what do you expect?"

"... At least we have something noticeable."

Then the three left the location, let the beast there on the ground can be noticed in the distance. The wind's blowing really strong, and this world is greeting them by putting sands in their eyes. They have to put on the masks.

"There's a small city there, probably 10 minutes on foot." - Rita said and pointed over to a city that is far away from their sight.

"Let's go then. Hopefully we can find anything there." - Captain said as he walking towards the city first.

The other two followed right behind. Right after they left the area for a few minutes. Someone showed up to the scene where they just left, the person taking a look at the corpse of the monster, died to bullet holes.

Time skipped about half an hour ahead, they reaches the city, and it is indeed, small, abandoned, some honkai beasts roaming the streets where humans used to live.

There's not much signs of living humans around, they quickly gave up the hope of searching for survivors. The Captain thinking for something, then he turns to the girls.

"Where will you guys hide if there's zombie apocalypse and there's a small group of survivors with you?" - Captain asked and the other girls with him already know the answer, as well as Einstein who is watching them.

Time skipped again, The Captain and Kiana, Rita is walking inside a tunnel underground, they're looking in the darkness thanks to the night vision mode of the mask's safety goggles that Einstein installed.

"Underground bunkers or tall buildings. Tall buildings are not an option for Honkai apocalypse, clever, Captain." - Einstein saying, complimenting the Captain's thinking.

"It depends, if there are actually anyone survives. There could be a chance that this world suffered the same fate as ours." - The Captain saying as he looking around while walking inside the tunnel.

"May god saved them all." - Einstein saying. "Even though god is not real."

They kept walking until they reaches the end of the tunnel, with a reinforced door made up of steel.

"There are warm air leaking out from that door." - Einstein saying.

"Warm?"

"Sign of life. Or some machines working. Rice cooker?"

"...."

Kiana kicks the door down as the other two watched from behind. There's no enemies inside. It's a really dark room that even night vision goggles can barely see the whole room. But they're facing a hallway now.

"Probably another door at the end...? With another one behind it?" - Captain saying.

Kiana turning back with a look like "really"?

"Oh come on. You gotta buy times if intruders get in." - Captain excuses his own words.

"I don't see any traps can be triggered, as well as any hidden door yet." - Einstein saying.

The Captain goes first, Kiana right behind and Rita protecting the back of both. They all are being very cautious to everything around, the walls, the ceiling, the floor, even the air itself.

Captain stepped on something, it was a pressure plate, it is connected to something at the end of the hallway.

"Everybody get down!" - Einstein shouted. Everyone followed her orders and got down, right after that, a rifle at the end of the hallway shoots.

One of them could have been shot if it wasn't from Einstein.

"Is everyone alright?" - Einstein asking.

"Yeah yeah... Thank you alot..." - Captain saying as he slowly getting back up.

"If it wasn't for miss Einstein, we would have been dead. We are grateful." - Rita says as she standing up.

Judging from the position where they see the rifle, the three has reaches the end of the hallway with a few steps ahead. It's just a simple trap, you step in, you donut'd.

The gun was placed in front of another door. Kiana steps on to the Captain, he stops Kiana.

"Wait I wanna try this out." - He said as he kicks the door as hard as possible, but it didn't even flinch, and the Captain's foot is in pain. "OWW!!! OWWWWWW!!!!!!"

"Ahahahaha!!! Captain? What are you doing?" - Kiana said as she is laughing at her Captain who is suffering from leg pain.

"Ahh!!!"

"Watch me." - Kiana said as she immediately turns to the door and lands a kick, which sent the door flew inside the room.

"Jesus christ how strong are you again Kiana?" - Captain asked Kiana that question out of admiration and confusion.

Kiana doesn't respond to it and she go inside the room instead, with the Captain following right behind, Rita is outside waiting, and guarding.

In the room there's alot of stuffs, it's like the warehouse, old electronic stuffs and parts, some broken parts, some tools to fix them, some broken light bulbs on the floor, some batteries rolling on the table, and alot of empty cans on the floor.

"Captain..." - Kiana calling for her Captain who is behind her.

"Yeah, there must be someone living here... For a long time." - The Captain picking up a can, turns out it was a canned food. "..."

"Long time? How'd you know?"

"If one person, yes. Alot of cans, unless if there's alot of people here."

"Captain, it seems there's a secret door in the corner, the warming air coming out from it." - Einstein saying and showing the source of the air on the mask's view.

"Now I remember, it's hot inside this room. Even though the tunnel is cold." - Captain saying, while reaching to the secret door with Kiana right behind.

"It's the kind of door you have to push." - Einstein saying.

"Leave it to me, Captain." - Kiana saying while putting a hand on the Captain's shoulder.

"Please, I can do this by myself. I didn't trained myself for nothing." - He said as he begins to push the door.

Meanwhile at the door, Rita noticed something outside.

"Miss Einstein. Please send me my weapon." - Rita said as she take some steps back inside the room, while keep looking outside the tunnel.

"Here you go, Rita." - Einstein sends her the scythe, which is Rita's weapon.

"Rita? What's wrong?" - Kiana turned back and asking.

"I sense something. Not a normal Honkai beast. Something stranger but yet, familiar." - She said as she slowly stepping out again, entering the hallway with cautious.

"This is bad. I cannot use the scythe in that room, that'll accidentally hit Kiana and Captain. But this hallway..."

Rita thinks as she tries to swing her scythe. But it hit the walls.

"I cannot even move the scythe around."

Luckily, Kiana is right behind her, with a gun on her hand, also she picked up the rifle.

"I got your back. Don't worry." - Kiana saying to Rita.

"I'm appreciated, miss Kiana." - Rita saying.

"Einstein, is there anyone or anything out there?" - Captain asking Einstein.

"I don't know. I didn't install heat detecting system, I can only detect strong heated air in a normal atmosphere." - Einstein saying, and trying to scan. "It's no use. I can't detect anything."

"That's okay... Hope so."

"... Hello?" - Rita greets as she walking. When she got outside and checked around with Kiana, they saw a hidden door on the wall right next to the door.

It was until now that they realized.

"CAPTAIN! GET OUT OF THERE QUICK!" - Kiana shouted then turns back to her captain.

"Do not try to move." - The person put a knife on the Captain's neck.

The Captain stood calm, and slowly lowering both hands down, the person is right behind him, he can sense it, the breathing, the presence. And it seems, the person is a girl, according to the voice. And her voice is awfully familiar, the other two can't see who she is, because the girl wrapped some cloths around her face and her head.

Kiana pointed a gun to the girl, while Rita charges inside the room.

"Don't try to move closer or do anything sus." - The girl threatened then pushes the knife a little bit, making the Captain bleeds.

Well, he do bleed.

Rita and Kiana immediately stop doing what they are doing.

"First, who are you? Second, why are you inside my base? And third, how long will you guys take to answer?" - The girl asked as she grabs the Captain's shoulder and slowly backing up.

Everyone recognize this voice, it is familiar but they don't remember who is it.

"Kiana." - Einstein contacted to Kiana.

"Einstein..."

"Can you shoot at the knife? Or the girl's hand?"

"... I can't, she's familiar... I don't want to hurt her, even though it's not the one we know..."

"... I see..."

"Okay... First... We are, this sounds ridiculous but it's true, from another universe. We used-" - Rita explaining.

"Woah woah woah, stop. Another universe? Are you guys high on Honkai or something?" - The girl asked.

"It's true. We travelled inside the Sea of Quanta for months and got here." - Rita continue explaining.

"... Okay. How about my question? Who the hell are you guys? Specific? If it's another universe, I might know another version of yours."

"..." - Rita slowly taking out her mask, Kiana do the same.

Then they drop the masks, letting the girl to see. The girl, in a sudden, taking her knife back. Let the Captain go.

"Wait... R- Rita... Is... Is it really you?" - The girl asks as she going towards Rita.

Rita, at first is strange with the girl, but when she got closer, she might have found the answer for the girl's identity.

"Durandal... Sama?" - Rita asked as her eyes are locked on the girl.

The girl slowly taking those cloths on her head, and those wrapped on her face down. And she is, Durandal, the S ranked Valkyrie of Schicksal that sacrificed herself in their world.

She hugs Rita as she begins to cry.

"I- I can't believe this... I saw you died with my own eyes... How..." - She cries as she hugs Rita tighter, Rita hugging her back.

Even though she's not the one Rita knows, but deep down, she's still just Durandal, and Rita is her best friend.

"Is this a dream...?" - Durandal sobbing.

"No..." - Rita gently caressing her hair, and patting her head. "This is not a dream, Durandal sama."

"Then, who are those two?" - Durandal looked over to Kiana. "Kiana..." - Then she turns over to Captain.

The Captain took his mask off as well.

"Captain of Hyperion. Nice to meet you again, Durandal." - The Captain saying.

"Wait so the whole story about another universe is real?" - Durandal asking Rita.

"Yes, yes it is." - Rita nods.

Durandal immediately turns to the Captain and bows. "I- I'm really sorry! I was..."

"That's alright, I cannot blame you, you must've been through alot..." - Captain saying. "So... What the hell happened? May I ask?"

The Captain got to the point immediately, Durandal looked like she's having a Vietnam War flashback, but a second later she's already telling what happened.

In this universe, Anti-Entropy went on a full scale war against Schicksal with the World Serpent.

Mostly, thanks to the Herrschers on humanity's side as well as Hyperion crew joining in, along with the rebellious forces from Schicksal and the victims of Honkai, united under Theresa Apocalypse's name, that Anti-Entropy was able to hold off against those two force in such a war.

But that does not change the outcome, Kevin joined the game. And took down every single Herrscher, he then restarted the Stigmata Projects on the girls, as well as applying it to the prisoners they have caught in the war from Entropy.

Soon, as Kevin's old friend warned, the plan went out of control and led to another Eruption of Honkai, the 4th and the last Honkai Eruption. Honkai Beasts formed up, into a massive army and wipe out every single city of humanity.

Otto got assassinated by one of his men because he underpaid then. Schicksal fall right after that. Kevin fought with an abnormal creature created by the dying will coming from all the Herrschers.

He did not defeat it, mainly because his powers still hasn't come back yet. Right after Kevin's death, every last defense of humanity got wiped out in less than 2 hours.

And each day in this universe passes as there are survivors falling down. The strong lives, the weak dies. Durandal is the last one surviving in this world for 2 years straight.

She survived by moving constantly between big cities, and using the canned supplies there as a source of living, knowing she'd die someday, she refuses to die today, and also try and survive until the next dawn.

After hearing the story, they couldn't stand on how much she has been through. And it is hurt, that she said Rita helped her escape a tricky situation but with the cost of her life. So right now, it is understandable that the strongest Valkyrie has turned into a mentally broken girl, she has also tried to kill herself before, many times, but she stopped herself as she realized there is still hope.

"Come with me." - Durandal comes over that secret door inside the room from the earlier, and pushes it.

The moment the door is opened, everybody felt some strong, warm air is being pushing out. Durandal get in the room, the others went inside as well.

Durandal turn the lights up, it is a large room. What makes the three surprise is what placed in the room. It is a part of the Hyperion, the center part of it, which has the engine room inside.

"This..."

"I have tried my best in all these times, picking up and regathering everything necessarily to rebuild the Hyperion. The engine and some other important parts are working fine, but I don't have the thrusters, and it is impossible for me the rebuild the entire ship." - Durandal explaining as she touches the part of the Hyperion.

The Captain looking at it, also looking at Durandal, and giving out the decision, that he has already made when he recognized Durandal.

"Aight, You are going with us, Durandal." - Captain saying, while placing a hand on her shoulder.

Durandal looked back happily.

"W- wait, really?" - Durandal asking. "You sure?"

"Well, we kinda needed a working engine but you have one right here, and besides, this world has nothing left for you, you don't deserve any of this." - Captain saying while putting a hand on her hair, then gently caress her hair.

"I'm so glad..." - Durandal begins to cry again. The Captain hugs her and asking her not to cry.

"Oh come on, don't cry, you're a strong Valkyrie aren't ya?" - Captain saying while patting her back, he takes a look back to the girls, they have no complaints, they are just standing there, and smiling.

They're glad because they are able meet, and save a version of someone they knew.

But the smiles didn't stay on their face for long as they heard something loud from outside, like something just crashed down the tunnel and the whole damn tunnel is collapsing.

"Crap..." - Captain swears and let go of Durandal, taking a look outside.

The tunnel is collapsing for somehow. And there are Honkai beasts coming inside the room from outside, and from the surface.

"They've found us!" - Captain saying.

One enters the room, Kiana blasts its head off. Rita also got onto the front.

"Finally..." - Kiana.

"Some actions." - Rita.

"Leave this to us, Captain, figure a way to bring that thing back to Hyperion!"

"Alright!" - Captain rushes back to Durandal. "Einstein, can that thing work?"

"The whole part of Hyperion seems big. But if there's only the engine alone, then yes. But it'll use up quite much of energy of the reactor." - Einstein saying. "Basically it'll need some time until you guys can get back to Hyperion."

"That's all I need to know." - Captain said as he climbs into the part of Hyperion, enters the engine room, placing one of those transporting devices that Einstein gave, onto the engine.

"Fall back, Captain. I'll handle it." - Einstein said, then she begins the process of shrinking the engine, and begin to use the power from the reactor, opening a portal to Sea of Quanta.

The Captain getting down back, grabbing the rifle and assisting the girls.

"This way, guys!" - Durandal shouts as she opens another secret door.

"How many secret doors you got there?"

"Plot device, we can't die here!" - Durandal explains as the others falling back to the door.

She closed the door when everyone get in. Then picking up a torch under her feet and light it up, leads the way.

"This way. Quick."

Captain, Kiana and Rita followed right behind her with no questions, they are just believing in her.

"Where are we going?" - Kiana asked.

"To another tunnel, leads to an old train station, that area is probably safe, it'll lead us back to the surface." - Durandal say while running.

"Probably huh... Welp, let's hope so, Einstein, how's the transportation?" - Captain asks as he runs.

"All done. It is... Well, in my laboratory. It'll take 20 minutes for the reactor to generate enough energy to get you guys back. Try and stay alive, everyone." - Einstein saying.

"What are we going to do to wait?"

"Remember what I said earlier?"

"... Oh..."

And they run back to where they came from, that place near the big city and has the dead winged creature.

End of First Trip #2

Yeah it took me... Well, kinda much time to write this. A month in total (actually 3 days for 3k words but i'm lazy so yeah ;-;)

Also, a small announcement for this story, that if this story goes on well I could write a few chapters about the war of this universe if you guys want.
