The runway girls are in their runway class with Jade excitedly showing some of her friends their runway hair and makeup looks.

"Poppy, Sky, Vi, I revised your runway looks. Ready, set, you're welcome." Jade says, putting down her sketchbook so the three girls can look at their looks.

"Legendary!" Poppy exclaims. "You think you can add retro curls to my look? Ooh, and bangs!"

"This is so cool, Jade, but I still don't think the hair works with my runway look," Skyler adds.

"I know last time I said I wanted a shaved side, I was wrong. This look, so not me," Violet complains.

"Wait, you want me to redo these again?" Jade asked.

"Yeah." Skyler confirms. "Sorry, but it's no big deal, right?"

Jade looks saddened but agrees. "I guess now, I just wanted you to love these looks. I worked crazy hard on them."

Jade then takes her sketch book and leaves the room and Bella follows her as Scarlette walks into the room, grabbing a roll of fabric.

"Jade?" she asks before looking at the others. "What's wrong with her?"

Poppy, Sunny, and Ruby all shrug as Scarlette goes to Jade and Bella.

"Hey, Jade, Bella," Scarlette said. "What's going on?"

"Oh, hi, Scar," Bella said. "Jade's just feeling a bit down about Violet, Skyler, and Poppy not liking their runway looks."

"Oh," Scarlette said. "Well, it's okay, Jade, I mean, people give me bad remarks all the time for my paintings and designs."

"Yeah, but," Jade said, entering another classroom. "Letting the group down is not me. I haven't done Bella's look yet."

"What about my look?" Sunny asks, also entering the room.

"Nope," Jade says. "Not yours, not Ruby's, not mine. Not yours either, Scar"

"Okay, maybe we need to chillax a little bit with our feedback." Bella says, reassuringly.

"But everyone gives me notes on my fashion sketches too," Skyler tells them.

"Sure," Ruby says, walking in. "But if we fall behind, we're toast."

While the girls are talking, they realize they stumbled into Ms Morton's classroom, where she introduces herself.

"Ahem," she says. "Looks like I picked the right day to meet my advisory group face to face."

"Ms Morton!" Skylar says.

"You're here!" Jade adds.

"It's nice to finally meet you!" Violet says.

"How was fashion week?" Bella asks.

"Yeah," Scarlette says. "Can you tell us everything?"

"Afraid now, I'm leaving you here to take a study hall, while I work out the best way to help you. As Ms Anderson aptly said, 'without teamwork, you're all toast'."

Ms Morton then exits the room, leaving the girls alone. They all are now in the dorms, where Bella is knocking on Jade's door.

"Jade, please come out!" Bella pleads.

"She needs to low key chill," Violet says. "If I lost it over every comment on The Vi Life, I'd never post again."

Scarlette sighs at her sister. "Not everyone has the same reaction to criticism as you do, Violet. And this is a really hard project, she has a right to be upset."

"Jade probably just crashed," Ruby said, "It's late."

All of the lights suddenly turn off.

"Huh?"

"What's going on?"

"What happened?"

"Woah!"

"Blackout!'

Avery then opens the door and reveals herself, surprising everyone.

"Aves?" Scarlett asks, surprised.

"Yep," Avery says. "Prefect drop in. "Ms. Morton sent me. She has plans for you."

Avery and Ainsley then blindfold everyone and sends them to another classroom.

"Let's go, First years!" Ainsley calls out to them.

"Listen up!" Avery says as the girls take off their blindfolds. "This salon is now an escape room. Your mission? Work together, follow the clues, and find the key to get out."

Avery and Ainsley then shut the door behind them.

"Ooh! Escape room?" Scarlette squeals.

"Yes!" Sunny cheers. "I love escape rooms! My 10th, 11th, and 13th birthday parties were all in escape rooms."

"Sunny, Scar, and Vi, super escape artists. I'm all over filming this!"

Violet takes out her phone, only to see that it is on low battery.

"No! Low battery!" she exclaims. "Everybody start the escape room without me. I'm gonna find a charger. You look for clues."

Scarlette rolls her eyes at her sister as she and the girls split up to look around the room while Violet plugs in her phone.

Sunny then grabs a clue. "Look look look, I found a note! 'Be the rainbow. The strength of your group is the mirror of your success.' Okay, let's see. Thinky face."

"Wait! Mirror of your success. Should we check the mirror?"

Skyler and Jade pull open the mirror to reveal an assortment of unlit neon letters.

"VROY IG BOIO RZAV AD?" Sunny says, reading the letters.

"Maybe it's an eye chart?" Poppy questions before attempting to read the letters with one of her eyes covered. "Vraggy boy ziels-still nothing."

"Maybe we have to find something that has to do with the letters?" Scarlette wondered.

Behind them, Violet pulls out a yellow comb, excited to find a clue.

"I found something, look!" Violet said, holding the comb.

"It's a clue!" Sunny exclaimed. "And if I know escape rooms, which I do-"

Sunny then walks over to the wall where there are comb shaped slots. She puts the yellow comb into the yellow slot.

"Puzzle piece combs!" Ruby said. "That is tight! Let's look for more!"

The girls look around the studio, each finding a comb. After this, they all head over to the wall.

"Three, two, one, go!"

Each girl presses their comb into place, making certain letters of the assortment from before light up.

"Score! We got letters!" Poppy exclaims.

"And the combination lock is glowing too!" Skyler adds.

"These letters have to be the combination!" Bella said, holding the combination lock. "Jade, read them off."

Jade then starts to read off the letters. "R, O, Y, G, B, I, V-" she stops once she gets a realization. "Hold up, that's red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet! The colors of the rainbow!"

Bella finishes the combination lock, and the doors open up to a closet of hair supplies.

"Pinch me, B! I think I'm in hair heaven." Jade says.

"Me too! Or, I will be if you'd say you'll do my hair?" Bella suggests.

"I'm next!" Violet says.

"Will you do mine?" Skyler asks.

Jade looks at them surprised. "You guys like my looks now?"

"Now? Always," Violet tells her.

"But you were all judgy during runway," Jade said.

"That's what makes people great idols," Scarlette says. "They listen to the criticism, though it's okay to be upset when it's too much."

"Scarlette's right," Skyer said. "And it's a big project, sorry if we were too harsh."

"Nah, I feel you. Thanks," Jade tells them. "So, we're making our big escape or what?"

"How about we forget that and let you give us all makeovers instead?" Bella urged Jade.

Jade smiled. "Okay, pick your colors and hold on tight, cause it's gonna be a killer night."

Jade then spends the rest of the day doing their hair, ending it with everyone having brand new looks.

"I love this!" Scarlette squeals.

"We. are. Everything!" Violet says, enthralled.

"Thanks." Jade said. "I've got you guys."

"We know," Skyler said. "Practice on us anytime."

Ms Morton then enters the room, making everyone surprised.

"Ms Hunter gave you makeovers instead of escaping. That is a bold choice ladies." she tells them. She watches as the girls give each other nervous looks before continuing. "A bold choice I'm sure you made as a team. Good work. I hope you got some sleep, first period's in five minutes!"

Realizing that they didn't get any sleep, the girls all panic and run out the door.
