Aidan is standing in front of the Art of Music class, giving a demonstration with Poppy's help.

"Hey," Aidan spoke. "So, no shocker here, but I'm not your teacher. I'm Aidan Russell, Fine Arts teacher's assistant, and I love Art of Music because this is where music and art collide.

"Rockin'!" Poppy exclaims.

"Beyond rockin'!" Aidan says. "As you can see, I volunteered Poppy to demonstrate. Her turntable is hooked up to that screen, and that box of magnetic filings. You play your music, we'll see your art."

"Legend!" Poppy says before cracking her knuckles.

She then starts playing music on her table, and the screen with the magnetic filings start to move around.

"See," Aidan tells the students. "It's like you're painting and sculpting, with sound!"

"Let's kick it up!"

Poppy then continues to play, making the screen and filings both show more impressive designs. Aidan looks on, impressed. He then steps to the side and takes out his phone.

"Avery," Aidan says. "Listen up. You need to hear this!"

Aidan brings the phone closer to the music as Poppy continues to play.

Poppy, after music class, goes downstairs to the lockers where she sees Sunny, Scarlette, and Skylar with a boy.

"Skylar! Scarlette! Sunny!" Poppy calls to her friends. She walks down a few steps before she just slides down the railing towards them.

"Rainbow High is unreal!" she exclaims. "My Art of Music class, it was like ba-da-dum!"

Sunny laughs. "My Animation Sensation class was too! Ooh, look, I made Hi Hi Kawaii characters based on us! And we're dancing!"

Scarlette laughs as Sunny shows the animation and begins to dance along with it.

"That's adorable, Sunny!" she said cheerfully. "Bella and I were in our set design class and we had made this wonderful Rainbow High Logo repaint. It's not done, but we hope to get it finished tomorrow."

Sunny gasps excitedly as she looks at Scarlette's painting. "Scarlette, that is awesome! No wonder you're partnering up with the A's!"

Scarlette chuckled. "It's nothing compare to this, Sunny," she says, gesturing to her animation.

 "Yeah," Skylar agrees. "That's so cute, Sunny!"

"Yeah, it's rad," the boy says.

Skylar jumps in surprise, realizing that Poppy and the boy haven't met.

"Oh Poppy," Skylar introduced. "This is Colin."

"Hey, Poppy," Colin greets.

He then turns back to Skylar. "Sky, I gotta roll. Catch you later?"

Skylar nods as Colin walks away from the girls.

Poppy walks to Skylar looking surprised. "Woah woah, slow your roll. You have a boyfriend already?"

"He's the one I told you about. We've been together since sixth grade. I got into Rainbow High for fashion, he's here for mixed media." Skylar explained.

"Oh yeah, right, Colin!" Poppy smiled.

Sunny then pulled out her phone. "Roomie selfie time!"

They all gathered together to take the picture, but before they could the lights dim and the A's walk over to where the girls are.

"The A's!" Skylar said, amazed.

Sunny gasped. "I think they're coming this way. Look at Avery's hair!"

"Sweet!" Scarlette smiled.

Avery then walks to Poppy in particular and begins talking with her.

"Poppy," Avery greets.

"Hey!" Poppy says. "What's up?"

"You're music," Avery explains. "Aidan played me your tracks, you're good. We're doing our big kick off the school year party for our underclassmen next week, wanna DJ?"

"Yes! I mean-I'm sure Poppy will say yes. Right Poppy?" Sunny said, ecstatic.

"For sure, I'd be stoked!" Poppy smiled.

"Not so fast," Ainsley stepped in. "This party has to be prefect perfect, so we need to hear more. Get us a new mix by the end of the school day."

"It's gotta be seriously legit." Aidan added.

"The second the last bell rings, meet us here and play it for us. Deal?" Avery asked.

"Deal!" Sunny said before correcting herself. "I mean-Poppy?"

Poppy nodded. "Deal!"

Avery smiles. "See you then."

The A's then turn to exit, leaving everyone excited.

"This is so exciting!" Scarlette squealed.

"Yeah," Sunny agreed. "You're gonna DJ for the A's!"

"But how can you make a mix when you're in class for the rest of the day?" Skyler asked

"Easy," Poppy told them. "I've got my turntable app! I just need to stay in my head and concentrate."

"We believe in you, Poppy," Scarlette said.

"Thanks, Scar!" Poppy said before putting on her headphones and walking away, focusing on her turntables app. She starts mixing throughout the day, until she is interrupted by Jade in her runway class.

"Poppy?" Jade asks. "Poppy! You in there?"

Poppy jumps, startled. "Huh? What? Um, yeah! Where?"

Bella chuckles. "Earth to Poppy! We're in runway class, and we're trying to pick our first look for the project."

"Skyler drew these," Ruby mentions as Poppy walks over to see the two drawings Skyler made.

"I love them both,but I know they're too similar and we can only use one. We all voted but we're split three-three so we need you to break the tie." Skylar explained.

"Now?" Poppy asks. "But I'm so close on the mix! If I let the tune out of my head, I won't finish."

"She has the chance to DJ for the A's!" Sunny tells them.

"For the A's!" Violet says, super excited. "Hashtag life goals! Stay in your head and mix!"

"Violet." Jade scolds. "This is our project, we need her to choose."

Bella gasps before walking to Poppy. "Stroke of genius! Poppy, you can choose a look while you finish your mix. Sing us what you think, to the beat of your music!"

"Rockin'!" Poppy exclaims.

She then turns on bluetooth and sends her music to the speakers, beginning to sing to it.

Poppy:

Skylar you're my girl and you never criticize

But you're asking my opinion so I'm giving you no lies

If I gotta make a choice I'll just tell you how I feel

I say this one is the one cause it's how I keep it real!

Once Poppy is done, the girls all cheer.

"Score! I finished! I'm ready!" Poppy cheers.

"And we have our first look for the runway show! Seven more to go!" Skyler adds.

"I gotta get to the A's!" Poppy exclaims. "You all rock!"

Poppy runs out of the room and meets the A's in the hallway along with Scarlette who is with them as they listen to her music.

The A's look at each other, nodding.

"It's good. Party's next week, make sure you're ready. You got the gig." Avery tells Poppy.

The A's then walk away. Poppy turns to her friends and they all cheer and celebrate.

"Great job, Poppy!" Scarlette congratulates her.

"Thanks, Scar!" Poppy thanks her.

Violet then gasps suddenly. "We only got one week to choose an outfit for the prefect party!"

The girls all look at each other in shock.

"Closets! Now!" Ruby shouts and they all run to their dorms.
