On his nightly quest for mushrooms, the gnome heard a loud belch and choked sob.

The wishing well fairy was slumped over a thimble of nectar.

"No one carries... coins... anymore. Everything's... plaaastic," she blubbered.

"Hmm." The opportunistic gnome stroked his beard, then snapped his fingers.

"Cryptocurrency!"

"Huh?" The fairy listed to one side and hiccuped.

"Grant wishes for Bitcoin."

She grimaced. "But I want whole coins!"

"Non-fungible tokens then."

"Non-fungi-whaaa? There's no fungus in my well."

"Use cloud mining."

"There're dwarves in the sky?"

The gnome scurried off with plans. Phishing for Wishes had a nice ring to it.
